Afternoon!!! I'm back with a post featuring my favorite trends of the summer. Clean, crisp colors and muted. who said boys cant wear pastel? I hit the beach with a few good friends yesterday in Huntington. It was a tad gloomy but started burning off in the late afternoon.

I've been MIA due to moving and being sick. But now I'm back and settled so make sure to keep passing through:)

If you've been wondering why I haven't been blogging lately, it's because my life has been very hectic and busy! I'm in the middle of trying to move to the beach and possibly go back to school. we will just have to see! I'll be writing a more in-depth personal post within the coming days and it'll fill you in on my tiny hiatus.

Bet you weren't expecting such a long post huh? I'm so lazy when it comes to resizing pictures and uploading them, but I'm trying to be better! Teamed up this week with Trucker Deluxe for a feature and giveaway! got this awesome hat and BANGIN backpack. took it out for a ride in venice. My bud Aleah Stephens (singing extraordinaire) took most of these pics except the one of her above! Oh and I think most of you will realize that kid skating is clearly not me, seeing as I don't have long hair lol nor am I that experienced to do crazy jumps like that... good ol venice skatepark. all in all the afternoon was great, got some lunch, viewed some apartments so I can move within the next few weeks and took some gnarly pix....obviously. So most of you know me pretty well, or at least my style and you've probably realized how much I love dandy styles (sarcasm) BUT I am also a firm believer that you should push your boundaries, try new things, and be open minded. so today, I have for you a slightly nautical, slightly dandy outfit. Paired a Tevin Vincent bowtie and bracelets, with an H&M shirt and sperry topsiders. great for a party on a yacht or something. which no one usually does, but go with me on this one.

Isn't my coworkers new dog just the cutest pup you've ever seen? Banjo is his name, and he's barely 5 months old. He is a white labrador retriever/pit bull mix. we were throwing a stick back and forth and this picture is him indulging as he hogs it to himself. He then was running around us as we took snap shots of my outfit before we hit up a hollywood farmers market. My Panda shirt was a hit. hello fellow earthlings. Todays post is a short one. the weather is terrible here in southern california, sunny, then raining, then sunny again...can you say bipolar!? went with this light army jacket that was gifted to me from TOP RANK VINTAGE (thanks guys!) paired it with a galactic shirt I bought from Urban O and sprinkled some 'hipster' in the mix with a beanie, backpack and boots! don't hate, appreciate.

Here's a more laid back look today. This is something I could wear anywhere due to the slick colors and casual skinny tie. Party, dinner, lunch, friends house, movie etc. Sometimes versatility is key because when summer rolls around who knows where your friend will drag ya! Even tho this outfit is a little dark for spring or summer, having an off day from the neons is acceptable in my book.

happy-day-after-the-hunger-games! for all of you who saw it, WASN'T IT AMAZING?! I had a blast. I went with 6 friends and we piled into the theatre with candy shoved in our pockets just feasting and tearing up as the kids went at it. I won't spoil anything, don't worry! As for the outfit, I received this shirt from VOLGA VERDI awhile back and been waiting till spring to wear it. I paired it with my Ambig skate jacket and matching neon beanie.
