Today Mummy brought me to the place I detest the most, THE VET. She said my mouth is too smelly due to over kissing from Rain. So I better get rid of it since she say I like to kiss humans so much.

I was gased and lost a small molar tooth at the back, Denise the vet jie jie says I must ask Mummy to brush my teeth everyday if I don't want to see her in a very long time. Well actually, she don't want me to "SING" to her. Denise jie jie complained to Mummy that the moment I woke up, seeing her face, I started to scream, even when she tried to pacify me, I as a 6 yr old healthy, pretty and brave dog as humans and dogs know me to be, pee and poop on her.

I am back home, sleeping now after the long day.

Mummy brought me to see Doctor Denise again, recently I been scratching till my skin bleed and having bumps all over. Mummy decided to forgo my training today and bring me to see Doctor Denise. I was so scared that when Mummy took me out from the bag at the clinic, she saw me tearing.

I was given "ANTIHISTAMINE" as Mummy do not wish to put me on steriods which will have side effects on my body. Mummy say I am disfigured, too ugly now.

After that, Mummy brought me for a short walk at Bedok Reservoir, how I wish I could jump in and swim.

Today, Mummy was back from work later than usual. But she bought home a present for me. She got me a new comfy bed. My old one is no long soft and smelly Lucky slept on it when he was over for CNY. I'm glad to know that Mummy still cares a lot about my feelings knowing I am very possessive over my personal stuffs.

Jackerteers CNY TJ Beach & Katong Dog Run

Pawrents decided to bring all of us for a morning sunny swim at Tanjong Beach. Today is also the day which little Dawn and Benji swam for the 1st time. Dawn was swimming in an awkward style but she is not afraid of the sea at all. As for Benjo didi, he swam fast and in a nice position. Guess he will soon overtake me as the best swimmer in Jackerteers.

After the swim, Pawrents intended to make us all sleep well through the rest of the day, and so off we go to Katong Dog Run. As usual, we play fetch and chase. But there is a little love growing between Dawn and Zai, they were like little lovers in the making.

Sat was boring as Mummy went to visit some stinky dogs again, today Mummy brought me out together to Renji house to play and I was tramatised by 2 giant pigs. But I get to bully a little ones. Mummy was busy taking pics of her and sending email that she ignore my pleas for help. But Renji Mummy was happy to have me over as I found all the long lost toys under the sofa, hey whats a Search and Rescue dog for, this is just a small feat.

Fuji the mongrel puppy was found on PIE near Eng Neo a week ago, she was knocked over by a car and was send in by my friend who was behind that car. The vet said she suffered minor fracture on the jaw and dislocated her right shoulder. She is now taken care by my friend and is ready for adoption. She is around 3mths old and has fade brown markings on the forehead and a small patch on the body. She is a quiet girl who will stay in the kitchen without supervision. She is ok with both dogs and humans and shown no signs of aggression. She is presently on kibbles and milk.

Follow-up to the vet will be 3 puppy vaccinations.

Weather been so cold lately that I need to get some protection, even if it means depriving of Mummy's sleep.

1st Search & Rescue Training in 2011

This morning, Mummy brought me to MTV for my Search & Rescue Training. Its been few weeks since I went there. From the new home, Mummy as usual got to get a cab in order to bring me there, well I heard from her its so much more costly than before but I told her it din bother me much, haha.

Today, for the 1st time Mummy had to partner with Joey's Mummy to search for the victim, we had 3 blocks to cover and it took us around 45 mins to cover the area. In the end, Senpai Joey found the victim and not me, as the officer actually trick me, they planted the victim after I had search the area. Mummy was puzzled at first how could I miss it. Well, Mummy its not important as I don't use my talent to earn a living, all I wanted was fun you know.

I did some incredible jumps today. I jump up a height higher than Mummy waist from a standing position. And I manage to squeeze myself through a fence to search. Overall, its a tiring workout for me today and I really enjoy myself.

The 1st vid below shows the steps that I jump up to, its a MRT train cabin, and the 2nd vid show piles of woods where the victim is hidden after I had search the place.

Mummy asked about the training for the Fire Investigation Training Programme for me today, she was told about the side effects of the training and decided its not for me as she felt its not healthy for me in the long run so I shall stick to just being a Search and Rescue dog.

The 2nd day when I was at the new home, Mummy went out in the morning saying she need to go back to the old place to clean up, she told me SPECIFICALLY to be a good girl and play with Uncle when he is back. And as usual she lure me to the kitchen and put on my bark collar and lock my using the baby gate.

I obeyed her all this while till I saw her opening the door and went off, my crying went off. I keep calling out to her and try to jump over the baby gate, she totally ignore me, SOB...

Few hours later, Uncle came back and I was excited as I want him to let me out to find Mummy, I told him I knew the way back to the old place, but of cos he wouldn't understand me at all since I haven't taught him. I decided to squeeze myself out of the gate and run off.

I try to pick up Mummy scent and went off to look for her, but I couldn't find her at all. Just when I was staying at a place which is strange to me, a hand picked me up. It was Uncle, he was running looking for me and he told me he called Mummy told her I ran off. He told me Mummy was crying when he told her about it over the phone.

Oh NOoooooo, Mummy gona beat me up jialat jialat !!!

Mummy words: Of cos I never beat her la, not her fault mah, but she really too naughty liao. Haiz, got to go get a mesh for the gate soon, can't take any of these things again.

Hello 2011

My 1st post of the new year, is I have moved to a new place. Its bigger and CLEANER, though Mummy had to pay a bit more but its ok, I told her to go on a diet. Muahahaha...

Though I was stressed initially as I thought Mummy wanted to dump me, I keep whining and barking that I had a shock on my throat. I knew that was not a good thing when Mummy wore it on me.

The morning at the new place was something different, I was woke up by the chirping of birds from the opposite block, the sun was warm and nice. Mummy carried me up to see the view from our room, I like it.

The Christmas Clean up

Mummy spent the day packing my things into boxes, she said I am only left with 1 toy to play with for the rest of the week. I got the shock of my life, how could this be happening to a cute little 5yr old jrt who just celebrated her barkday. I was frantically scratching and biting the boxes to get to my treasures, Mummy got angry and took out the long lost "Heavenly Sword", ok she won, I back off for now.

Mummy even kept my bed, I went back laying on my usual hideout and there was no bed. It makes me moody. I want my toys and bed back.

I am a active 5 yr old Jrt today, Mummy is not in a good mood to hold any celebration for me this yr, but she still brought me to meet up the Jackerteers and to celebrate christmas at Bubble house. I had fun meeting them as its been weeks since I last saw them. Mummy wish is to try her best to be with me as long as possible.

Today, the officers gave a new task to me. They wanted to test if I'll be able to search in complete darkness together with Mummy. I was lead to the 2nd storey and started searching. It was so fun, even though Mummy could not see where I was, I knew exactly where to go. I found my 1st victim in less than 10 mins. The 2nd one in another next 10 mins. For the 3rd one, the officers trick me leaving old scent and I was barking at the wall. Mummy knew something was not right and lead me to the rooms to continue to search. I managed to find the exact spot where the victim was after some time.

Mummy say this might be the last time I get to go there with her.

No Outings for the time being

Mummy say no outings the next few weekends, its a sacrifice which I must understand. Mummy not looking so good recently. I got to be a good girl. Mummy compensate by buying me new toys to play when she got her pay.

This Sat, Mummy brought me to a new place with a big garden and I saw a swimming pool. Nope, Mummy did not win any ToTo to get me a landed house with a swimming pool. Its a chalet, Mummy had a BBQ gathering with her colleagues and they all wanted to see me.

Actually, I was not allowed to be in there as the security says that no pets are allowed, but I am no pet, I am the princess of the Tan family.

I had fun playing fetch with all the hoomans and they love my activeness. I managed to snack on some food too.

I was not tired from all the fun but I'm tired from staying inside the carrier for too long, I hate to be inside. I keep crying till my face was wet. But I was a good girl, Mummy for the 1st time took me on a bus, its so boring and Mummy had to pacify me so I will not make any noise during the trip. Mummy promised if I can be so quiet everytime I get into my gai gai bag, she will bring me to ECP again by bus haha. I doubt I be so obedient.

No pics as blur Mummy always forgets something when she bring me out, this time she forgot all about the camera, and so using her lousy handphone, she manage to record a vid of me playing with a guy of cos.

CHANGES TO THE ANIMALS AND BIRDS (DOG LICENSING AND CONTROL) RULES
To enhance public safety, the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore has reviewed the Animals and Birds (Dog Licensing and Control) Rules to tighten existing control measures for the management of potentially dangerous dogs in Singapore.

2 The review was conducted in consultation with stakeholders such as dog owners, animal welfare groups, veterinarians and the general public. The changes to Dog Licensing and Control Rules will come into effect on 15 November 2010.

Enhanced Control for Scheduled Dogs

3 The Perro de Presa Canario will be transferred from Part II to Part I of the potentially dangerous dogs listed in the Second Schedule under the Dog Licensing and Control Rules. The requirements for keeping a Part I dog will apply to all Perro de Presa Canario. This breed of dog will henceforth not be allowed to be imported and any dog that is already in Singapore for which a new license is applied will be required to undergo obedience training.
(The full list of dogs in Part I and II of the Schedule is attached in Annex A).

4 Only one dog from Part I or Part II of the Second Schedule is permitted to be kept in a premise. This will apply to newly licensed dogs and existing dogs will not be affected.

5 The keeping of dogs from Part II of the Second Schedule will also be subject to the following additional conditions:

i) All existing and newly licensed Part II dogs must be microchipped

ii) Owners of newly licensed Part II dogs must take up an insurance policy for at least $100,000 coverage against injury to persons and damage to property

iii) Owners of newly licensed Part II dogs must take up a banker’s guarantee for $2000

iv) Newly licensed Part II dogs must undergo obedience training

Enhanced Control for All dogs

6 Regardless of the breed, any dog that initiates an unprovoked attack and caused injury to a person or animal, will be subjected to one or more of the following control measures, depending on the severity of the bite :

i) The dog must be leashed and securely muzzled when in a public place

ii) The dog must undergo obedience training

iii) The dog must be microchipped

iv) Premises where the dog is kept must be secured to prevent its escape

v) The owner must take up an insurance policy for at least $100,000 coverage against injury to persons and damage to property

vi) The owner must take up a banker’s guarantee of $2,000

vii) Any existing banker’s guarantee would be forfeited for non-compliance and the owner must take up a fresh banker’s guarantee of $2,000.

Need to build up stamina

Need to build up my stamina for my Search & Rescue training. Under the hot sun, my furry body gets tired easily. This is a big disadvantage to small dogs like me as we are so close to the ground surface.

Today I did a high jump like 3 times my body length, the officers and Mummy praise me for being a daring girl, pity Mummy did not capture it on camera.
