2012-10-16T12:39:00.001-07:00

I got commissioned to do a t shirt line for a company called High Life. I was able to freely create graphics according to their descriptions and come up with most of the ideas. It was a pretty nice project to work on. We will definitely working together again soon!

So So Def Artist Fresco Kane from East St. Louis, MO gave me the task of creating a character mascot representing his Hip Hop image. "Rab that Guy"

I'm starting a new animation studio and my first projects are animated Hip Hop videos. I've been getting a lot of helpful information and tips from fellow animators and tutorials to add on to my own talents and know how. Stay tuned!

Updates?

2011-10-28T06:53:00.000-07:00

I'm already falling into the same trap I did before. I haven't posted on the regular so I feel like I could at least post errr weekend. (errr: courtesy of country grammar) So stay tuned my many followers! I'm thinking of doing hi res scans of the 30 in 30 sketch project I've been having fun working on lately. The first day sketch was posted here and on Facebook through my Evo. The scans should show a little more detail in the sketches so that should be fun. Aight! Be back soon! SWAG!SWAG!

30 in 30!

2011-10-16T09:06:00.000-07:00

I've been seeing a lot of designers and illustrators all over the web finding inspiration and birthing new ideas thru this challenge of doing a full thirty days of something they love. I've seen 30 animations in thirty days, 30 sketches in 30 days, drawings, layouts, etc. I think it's time I committed to this same challege as well! I would be great practice and give me some well needed time management training. What better time start than now! I will be kicking off my challege with 30 sketches 30 days. I guess the easiest way would be to sketch various ideas to keep things fresh. Time to get started!

Here is my Day 1 sketch. Sort of a self portrait of me. I was wearing that same tank top, jeans, and tennis shoes while I sketched it. I kinda rushed it but, hopefully the rest of the days my work looks way better!
