We “discuss” the passing of Dick Clark, Amish drunk drivers, and update Christy Fest one last time before the big event. Coldbeer again provides us with a classic Fan Feedback segment, although I still don’t understand what the word “refreshing” means! Blake has another annoying soundboard that he can’t stop playing with and Amish BJ counts down into the New Year and finally we have rare back stage audio of the crew and Mollz.

This episode is a little long but I think it is well worth the investment. We play a new game called, “Would You Rather”. In the spirt of the holiday season, we here at IBWIP have wrapped up a great little show for ya’ll. Not only do we have a great face to face interview with The Dirt Daubers (prior to their show at Cantina’s in Pekin IL) but we also have music from Tom VandenAvond, Chelsea McBee, The Ten Foot Polecats, Resta^Rant, Old Sleeper, and The Pogues. We also do an album review for Fred Eaglesmith’s “6 Volts” and spin a couple tunes from the album. And if that wasn’t enough music, we also have a special X-mas song from The Pine Box Boys exclusively from their 2011 X-mas card.

We also have a couple of give-a-ways for our fans. We bring back our new segment “Stupid People Doing Stupid Things” as we talk about a lady getting busted for making METH in a Walmart. Well another year has passed here in the dirty stalls of IBWIP. In this special extended addition of IBWIP we have a ton of great music and special guests to help us celebrate our 50th episode. Amish BJ takes his normal seat as Blake’s right hand man but really did a lot of extra stuff to make this episode special and I want to give a big shout out to him and thank him right off the bat. During the show we also have some awesome people sit down with us and share the mic. Sean Phillips from What Would Sean Do, Jashie P from Outlaw Radio Chicago and Last False Hope, as well as a very special sit in by the one and only Uncle Bubba. Yes, folks that is right, Uncle Bubba is back and him and Amish B.J really kick Blake’s ass throughout the show! We were also honored to have Professor KAK come in and give us an educated look at IBWIP and it’s effect on modern culture. This segment with Professor KAK actually lead to the name of the episode being changed to it’s current title “4 Years of Making People Poo”.

To even begin to describe what all is in EP50 would take way too long to type (and I am one lazy S.O.B). It would also ruin all the surprises! We can tell you though that The Christy Boys make an appearance; Uncle Bubba, Amish BJ, and Blake become prophets; Sean tells us why his job kicks ass; and Jashie P gives us some breaking news! What do you get when you put the Podcasting God, a college professor, Captain Tomorrow (AKA Captain Tuesday), an Amish husband and wife, and an angry GVTL team owner on a bender all together on Skype? An It Burns When I Pee DEATH MATCH! I’d like to fore warn everyone that this episode is difficult to follow along with at times, but just the experience alone is worth the time and effort you take to listen. In this episode we have a heated debate about Rule #6 of the GVTL and whether Professor KAK violated this rule in her challenge to Mrs. Coley. It’s that time of year when kids pack up their new back packs for that first day of school. Now all you parents out there have went all over the city to get all the correct supplies, forked out tons of money for new cloths, new shoes, and book fees. It Burns When I Pee is here to put a smile back on your faces. On EP44 we have our first ever special guest host, Joey Fuckup from Cheap Beer and BBQ Radio. Thanks to the SKYPE we were able to join together and do the show. Joey did a great job for only finding out he was going to co-host 3 hours before the show.

In this episode Joey and I tell some stories from our days in school. We also call BJ and Nicole, via SKYPE, and talk to them about their time with Cocker during his stay with them. It was cool as hell to have them on the show. We also wish Nicole a happy birthday in typical IBWIP fashion!

Our featured interview is with Slackeye Slim and Joe Perreze, who we got to sit down with recently when they played a show at Bottom’s Up in Pekin Illinois. They talk about their new CD, and we also spin a couple tunes from it. I recently opened up an email from our very own Encyclopedia Billy. He told me that Cocker had just left his place and was heading on down to Harlem Georgia. As I looked though the pictures of Cocker’s stay with Billy, I wondered how far he had traveled already in the short time he has being gone. He has been to five states, seven cities, and traveled 1,946 miles! It’s pretty awesome when you think about it. To have fans participate in this has meant so much to us here at IBWIP. But there are still so many places left to go. We have actually only put a dent in the list of people who have signed up for Cocker to visit. The coolest part of this is how creative everyone has been with the photos! So forget about only doing five pictures, take as many as you want. In a month or so we think that we will have enough pictures to put together a “Cocker’s Travel’s” video. Hopefully it will be PART 1 of a series of videos. Thanks again to everyone who has taken Cocker under their wing and opened their homes and families to him. We look forward to seeing the next batch of pictures soon.
The following is the pictures taken of Cocker during his stay with Encyclopedia Billy in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. Billy was nice enough to provide the descriptions of the pictures as well. Thanks again to Billy and his family for showing Cocker a great time.

Since we were starting early cocker decided to rock out to some ibwip.

After that the day started out for cocker with a ‘gulp’ from 7-11 down in Baltimore.

Cocker was havin a good time until we saw the ‘Chicken Nook’

.He talked me into going in & savin some of his family. After stompin a mud hole in some people’s butts, we had 2 get some ‘repair’ work done.

After that we finished the route, cocker saw Penn Station & kept mumbling something about jumpin a train headin to D.C.

I convinced him to stay so we took in some sights.

Later he decided to take a dip in the pool.

Then mama decided to get in the pool with him.

Before long it was bed time.

The next day we decided to take it easy. We went to a state park to see some of his cousins.

Friday night, I’m not sure what happened.

On this episode of It Burns When I Pee we turn the table around and poke fun at ourselves. Blake, Uncle Bubba, and Mrs. Bubba tell some embarrassing tales about one another. These stories include fire, running over people, poor safety patrol, and custom car painting. Of course nothing tops the NEWEST and most embarrassing story in IBWIP history! It’s amazing what Blake will do to reach 400 fans.

It has been awhile since we last blogged about our mascot Cocker and his travels around the country. After hanging out with Edward Clarence Graves in New York City, he headed to Washington D.C. to spend a little time with our good friend Little Lisa Dixie. Just like everyone else, Cocker has a little crush on LLD so he decided to stay a little longer. DO YOU BLAME HIM?! While there Cocker got to cuddle up with LLD, hang out with his new friend Elvis (who helped give Cocker a bath), and got to hear the sweet sounds of that amazing voice. He did say that Lisa’s clown collection kinda freaked him out but it was well worth it. Thanks again to Lisa for taking care of our cock and for being such a great friend of the show. Word is Cocker is on his way to Pennsylvania as we speak.

Cocker got here and we sat and talked a bit. He inquired about “What
Would Sean Do?” and I gave him some pointers, I feel he handled
himself beautifully. First off he had my wife, Rianne, emblazon his
chest with a  ”IBWIP” tattoo.  Then he drained my jagermeister machine
dry. Then he ran his best game on Northern VA’s community whore,
Sarah. Of course he got some. The next morning he woke up hungover and
nervous about possibly having acquired an STD. He then locked himself
in a bathroom, sat on the urinal and cried out “there’s no place like
home, there’s no place like home.”

He is now already in NEW YORK CITY so stay close and we will see what trouble he gets into there as well!

So as some of you (that actually listen to the show) know we moved out of Get Your Hank On Studio. It has been one pain after the other trying to get everything done. We are also excited to announce that Joey Allcorn will be featured on EP28. This will be our first “Mini-Pee” episode. Below is a little info about Type 1 Diabetes:

Type 1, or juvenile, diabetes, is a devastating, often deadly disease that affects millions of people–a large and growing percentage of them children.

Many people think type 1 diabetes can be controlled by insulin. While insulin does keep people with type 1 diabetes alive, it is NOT a cure. Aside from the daily challenges of living with type 1 diabetes, there are many severe, often fatal, complications caused by the disease.

That’s the bad news… and yes, it’s pretty bad.

The good news, though, is that a cure for type 1 diabetes is within reach. In fact, JDRF funding and leadership is associated with most major scientific breakthroughs in type 1 diabetes research to date. And JDRF funds a major portion of all type 1 diabetes research worldwide, more than any other charity.

This was the last time that we recorded Pee-A-Vision. It was also the last episode that Norma Jean is on. I think that this was also the only show that she ever did without drinking! She had her own cam so of course it didnt record so you have to just stare at me the whole time. Who knows if we will ever be able to bring back Pee-A-Vision. It was a cool IBWIP extra but we never completely got it running as smooth as we wanted to. Check it out and enjoy the last taping of Pee-A-Vision.

This episode can only be described as “Three Girls and One couch!” Norma Jean, Sarah Bear, and Mrs. X were hanging out with Blake and Creepy Guy to record EP25 of It Burns When I Pee. Lets just say the wine and spirits were flowing and they had a great time. In the latest edition of the show we featured an interview with Bloodshot Records recording artist, Justin Townes Earle. This was only the 2nd face to face interview in IBWIP history! We will be playing three of Justin’s songs and giving away an autographed copy of his new album, “Midnight At The Movies”.

In this episode we also reveal the winner of the IBWIP EP24 Photo Contest. We had alot of great entries (though one has been taken down off our myspace page). We will be unveiling the new Mr. Wong’s Dong’s skit as well as give you some bathroom etiquette from our good friend Barely from Barely Podcasting. The gang talks about our recent encounters with “Johnny Law”, retarded people having big wieners, and so much more. We suggest you listen real close because you might find out something about Creepy Guy and Sarah Bears… umm… well you’ll hear it. We also bring back Norma Jean watches porn as she watches a Creepy Guy favorite. And who can forget Norma Jean and her fan feedback. Will she do it sober? You’ll have to find out. This is the episode that we had the girls on the couch. You cant see them on the video because we tryed to get fancy and use two cameras. Unfortunatly we didnt realize that the video from the girls cam was streaming but wasnt recorded. Fans called this Pee-A-Vision the Creepy Guy Crotch Cam! It was impossible to keep the show on track with the ladies basically having their own show and behind us. It was a great time but it was also the last time I ever had that many girls on one show. We also have Norma Jean watching porn so it was cool to have her reaction along with her pals. A memorable episode for sure.

There is not too much to say about this video. The title says it all. It was after we recorded a show and the girls were a little tipsy. I secretly clicked record but didn’t realize I wasn’t getting any audio. I REALLY wish I would have. The video is only about minutes long so push play on a couple of your favorite songs and imagin what 3 hot drunk girls would be saying while looking at pics. I promise that if you sit and watch the whole thing you will be rewarded…. TRUST ME! I have never steered you wrong!

Heck we even had Destiney standing watch over the crew.

We play tunes from Split Lip Rayfield, Hank 3, Johnny Cash, Porter Hall Tennessee, The Steeldrivers, Bob Wayne and the Outlaw Carnies, and many more. We are even going to premiere “Blake’s Song” which was written by our very own host Blake Clayton and preformed by his out of state crush Little Lisa Dixie.

Our great friend Howard, from The Bootleg Asylum Radio Show, wrote and produced this months skit called Open Crotch Necklace. We thank Howard for doing all the work on this skit because we know how it would have ended up if Blake would have wrote it. HA HA HA! We also have a couple of voicemails from some of our fans, and a special song by Blake’s niece, and of course Norma Jean is going to read some fan feedback (we tried to have her do it before the booze kicked in but…). We also call Creepy Guys girlfriend on the phone… Sarah Bear was so excited she couldn’t even talk!

We talk about some new albums that are coming out in the next few months, some shows that IBWIP will be attending in March, and Norma Jean unlocks the secrets of her SEX DRAWER! It was a great time and the live vidstream, “Pee-A-Vision” turned out really good as well.

On our third try we got so good that we could even play the music while we recorded. We also had a special guest on the show as well Jashie P from Outlaw Radio Chicago. It was funny trying to get all of us in the shot but we managed. We even got Destiny in the shot! In this episode Norma Jean and Blake cuddle up in front of the camera to bring you our second installment of Pee-A-Vision. This would be known to die hard IBWIP fans as the episode that Norma Jean turned to wine and got a little drunk. There was tons of fan feedback in this episode so Norma had to drink… I mean read all of them and you could tell the wine had got the best of her. We got a little better with the audio level on this one so it is easier to follow along than the first one. Oh ya, this is the episode we try to get Norma Jean to show her boobies to raise money for the show. Needless to say we didn’t make any money and she didn’t show her boobies.

This was the first time we ever streamed live on the internet. This was our Xmas special and it was a great time. Creepy Guy, Norma Jean, and NTBNTBBTOB exchanged gift and had a ton of laughs. This was also the first episode to feature Destiny! We didn’t really know what we were doing so the volume isn’t the greatest. I also think this was the episode where Creepy Guy admits that he wanted to go down on my mom! Ha Ha Ha! Little did we know that eventually this would be called “South Mouth” in the world of IBWIP. Here we are at the end of 2008. It’s been a wild ride here at Get Your Hank On Studio. In the season of giving we bring you Episode 22 “Have Yourself A Very Burning Christmas”. In this episode the skit is titled, “IBWIP Meets Santa At The Mall”. Finally, we break out the presents and have the first ever IBWIP Gift Exchange. I think it’s safe to say there will be some questionable gifts given out! We also talk about when we stopped believing in Santa Claus, Creepy Guy going down on Blake’s mom, and a whole lot more.

Ok well I havent blogged in forever but tonight was well worth gettin on here at 1am and tellin yall about. Tonight Me, Norma Jean, and NTBNTBBTOB went to Champaign and saw the greatest fuckin Bluegrass Band On The Planet! SPLIT LIP RAYFIELD! As I walked up to the stage a young lady walked up to me and said, “are you Blake from IBWIP?” I about shit my draws. It was the coolest feeling to have someone know who I was! It really made it kinda sink in that people are listening to the show and enjoying what we are putting out there. To Melissa and her hubby (pictured above) you are awesome and you dont know how cool it was to meet you guys. Melissa and I even sang together! I met up with Wayne G from SLR just for a minute or two before they went on. He is an awesome guy. He even gave me a shout out while the show was going on. That was cool as hell too. See that is the difference between the bands we all listen too and the shitty POP country assholes. First, Kenny wouldnt have had time to stop and say HI and sure as shit wouldnt be about to know where the fuck I was in the crowd to point to me and give me a shout out. It also shows that the bands we love really are thankful that we are bloggin, doing podcasts, and just supporting them in general. Norma Jean had a blast (as usual) and took about 100 pics of Wayne and the guys. She even talked to Wayne after the show. She was head bangin and shit kickin.. until the gas station about 20 miles outside of Champaign… IBWIP would like to make a formal appology to the gas station attendent who had to clean up after her. All in all it was an amazing night and it really hit home what this REVOLUTION is all about. Its about meeting new friends at shows, rockin out for a couple of hours, and Norma Jean getting drunk. Thanks again Melissa and Thanks to everyone who supports the show. Without you I am just a guy about to get layed off because of this fucked up economy…… GET YOUR HANK ON FUCKERS!

Have you ever wondered what we recorded while at the Metal Farm Magazine Release Party? Well the three of you are in luck! Episode 21 is dedicated to MFM and The Reinstate Hank Campaign. We feature four, that’s right four interviews. Randy Bake, Blake Judd, Keith Neltner, and Sarah Luegers all hung out with us at the party and talked about their involvement in the two projects.

Of course we still spin some great music from Hank 3, Hank Sr., The Kentucky Struts, Straw Boss, and The Cowslingers. Sound like a long show? Well there’s even more! We break out the lost tapes we recorded while at the party as well. The lost tapes are completely raw and uncut. We just turned the mics on and started talking. Surprisingly enough there is little or no dead air. On the tapes Blake sings and bitches about Audacity. The crew also talks about erections, masturbation, and the clean up, Shake It Records, Bizarre Magazine, the Chunky Monkeys, and much much more. The final track even has an impromptu interview with Sarah Luegers.

As the summer comes to a close, we heat up the inter-net with another socially inappropriate episode of It Burns When I Pee. Norma Jean (and her kissin partners: Sarah Bear & Natalie), along with Creepy Guy and NTBNTBBTOB join me in Get Your Hank On Studio and we bring you a jammed packed show. In this episode we feature an interview with the band BIG JUGS. These guys are awesome and we were honored to have the whole band on the show. We will also spin a couple of songs from their new album, “Ridin’ Dirty”.

We are going to rack up a special dedication for the late great Don Helms, and of course we can’t have a September show without showing some love to the birthday man himself… HANK WILLIAMS. We have still not begun to sift through all the audio that we took at the Metal Farm Magazine Release Party. With trying to get EP 19 done there has just been no time. We are thinking that before the end of the year we will be putting out a special BONUS episode of stuff just from the Release Party. It was an awesome time and everyone we met was cool as hell. We even have audio of me and NTBNTBBTOB talking about our erections, masterbation, and a whole lot more. Thanks to all the fans like Donnie Fuckin Cash and Cathy & Wayne for stopping by and saying hello. Randy Bake, Blake Judd, and Keith Neltner were awesome too.

So on the 19th when we release EP 19 we will also open up the bidding on the IBWIP Auction. We have some really cool stuff to bid on. We are trying to raise some money for a better mixing board, more web space, and a mic or two. Our plan is to hopefully be able to offer you a vid case as well by 2009. At least like a behind the scenes look at Get Your Hank On Studio while we are recording. Who wouldnt want to stare at Norma Jean for an hour or so right! A year and a half ago I never invisioned the show being what it is today, and now I invision it being so much more. Unfortunatly to do that takes money. We have tried to get a full time sponsor but it’s hard to get a company to give money to a bunch of perverted sickos who talk about porn and real country music! Just take some time to look at the items up for auction and try to help us out. We will post the links to all the items by Wednesday.

I wanted to take a few minutes also to thank all the fans for their kind words and for supporting the show. The whole reason why we do the show is for you and for the indie artists that are out there making awesome music. Sure we are a little raunchy, but I dont think that it takes away from the main purpose of the show…. the music.  At least I hope it doesn’t.

We have alot of stuff coming up in the next couple months here at IBWIP. We have the road trip to Cincinatti Ohio to participate in the Metal Farm Magazine Release Party, we have the IBWIP Auction coming up on September 19th to try to raise money for the show, we have EP 19 to start working on and are already working up some cool stuff for EP 20 which will be our 2nd annual Halloween Special.
