These little babies really turned a normal dinner plan into a full kitten rescue operation.

Two tiny kittens somehow ended up hidden in a gutter until one of them apparently rolled right out into the grass and started screaming for help. After hearing crying earlier in the day but not being able to find the source, the family finally spotted the little girl kitten while getting ready to make dinner. She got brought inside, warmed up, and immediately kicked off a full kitten rescue mission complete with emergency supply runs and formula.

Then came the second kitten. While trying to make dinner again, somebody made cat-calling noises outside and suddenly heard screaming back from the gutter. The little guy was still stuck up there waiting to be rescued too. Getting him out sounded like a whole struggle without a ladder, but once he was finally safe, he apparently decided he never wanted to leave their side again.

The image of these two little gutter babies being reunited indoors after all of that is ridiculously sweet. One kitten was already curled up warm inside while her brother was still outside yelling for somebody to come get him too. If you've been a fan of I Can Has Cheezburger for a while, you know how crazy we are for cats. We eat, sleep, and breathe cats. We don't mean that figuratively, our cats sleep all around us (including on our faces) every night, we breathe in probably 2 lbs. of cat hair every day. and now, thanks to our delicious research, now we eat them. Well, we eat foods that are in the purrfect shape of our precious feline friends. Now that we've opened this can of worms into the finest feline-shaped foods the world has to offer, any food that's not cat-shaped just doesn't taste as good.

Why eat a normal strawberry when you can eat a strawberry with cute little cat ears? Why would you settle for normal pancakes when you can have cute neko-pancakes ("neko" means cat in Japanese) with little cat confections sprawling out of the side? You just can't. Everything tastes bland to us now that we've expurrienced the fine flavors of food shaped like cats. Not only are they tasty, but they're cute to boot!

You can find most of these treats in Japan, because the Japanese love cats almost as much as we do, but some of these you can even make at home! Our commentary on this story is going to be divided into two parts, because we have a lot to say about it. The first part will be the pawsitive take on it - she deserves at least that much. Khloé Kardashian has over 283 million Instagram followers and a similar amount on X, meaning that when she says something, around 500 million people hear it. She openly admitted that, by declawing her cats, she did something wrong and is actively advising others not to follow in her footsteps. Would you take in 3 baby kittens even if you didn't have any space left in your house?

Cat lovers are truly unique in that, even if they can't fit any more cats in their homes, they will never turn down a cat in need. Even after you've said "no more cats" a hundred times, you'll always find space for a few more. It's impawssible for us not to, because if we don't, who will?

Millions of kittens are born every year, and only a fraction of them get adopted and live in our homes. The rest, if they are lucky, become neighborhood strays that are cared for by several families. The rest become feral cats and continue to increase the cat population because, if you didn't know, cats can have around 3 - 5 litters of kittens per year. Assuming each litter is around three kittens (and that's being very conservative), that's a minimum of 9 extra cats every year for every unfixed stray mama cat out there. Do you see how this became such a big problem in such a short amount of time?

But thanks to the wholesome heroes like this kitten rescuer below, there are 3 less kittens out there in the wild right now, and even if they can't keep them furrever, they'll certainly stay off the streets as long as they have anything to say about it. After seeing some tiny things moving in a plastic crate in 95-degree heat in front of some local kids, they went over to investigate. The kids were selling the kittens for $20 each. We can only hope that their parents aren't using their cat's kittens as a side business for a little extra cash.

They bought all of the kittens for a whopping $31, and brought them to their cool, air-conditioned house where they were given water and wet food. Now that spring is here, kitten season is upon us, and shelters are expected to be pawsitively packed to the brim with fresh cats and kittens. They know they will probably end up having to foster them, which will prove challenging due to already having two 8-year-old cats. But with kittens so cute, how could they pawssibly say no?

Coming home from a birthday dinner and suddenly finding a crying kitten in the driveway really sounds like the Cat Distribution System working overtime. One minute it was a normal night out, and the next there was a little baby cat screaming for help and completely changing the entire night. The fact that she was sitting there all alone crying her lungs out makes it feel even more emotional too. Good thing she picked the right driveway.

The sweetest part is how quickly everything shifted into full rescue mode. Let's just put it here outright - cats are never, ever a thing to discard. When someone adopts a cat, they officially take full responsibility for a whole soul. But some people just don't get that… and we have no idea why.

In our eyes, cats are our everything. It's like, of course we'd want to take care of you, you floofy and adorable little being. From this perspective, we could never understand people who decide one day "I'm going to drive away, put my cat in a strange area, and ignore them for the rest of my life". Tangerino really went from Florida street cat to full international traveler in record time. One minute he was a community TNR cat hanging around outside, and the next he was making a two-day journey across cars, planes, boats, and trains all the way to England. That is an unbelievable upgrade for one little orange guy who originally just decided to follow somebody home.

After some Facebook searching and getting approval from his feeder, the rescue mission officially started. Then came all the chaos of carrier training, harness practice, changed flights, and of course one final street fight right before departure because orange cats always seem determined to keep life stressful until the very end.

Now Tangerino is curled up beside a heating pad adjusting from Florida heat to English weather like a tiny tourist completely unprepared for winter. It is a pretty huge lifestyle change after spending so much time outside fighting, sleeping on sidewalks, and surviving however he could.

Noodle, a sweet, sensitive cat was literally thrown out the window of a car while driving through a neighborhood. We don't know anything about his previous family, but we think it's safe to assume that anyone who would throw their cat out of a vehicle is horrible. Stick with us, we're getting to our point, that is this: sometimes, something horrible has to happen in order to get you to where you're truly supposed to be. And Noodle's place was with the purrson he ran up to after being abandoned, who immediately fell in love with his charm. Not to mention his awwdorably fluffy face!

If they hadn't abandoned him, Noodle might still be living with a family who doesn't love him, instead of curled up with his new pawrent who cares for him like their own son. The process may have been painful, but in the end, he found his home furrever.

Sometimes a tiny fluffy face is enough to completely change the direction of somebody's day.

One tiny kitten on the side of the road really managed to completely change somebody's entire day. At first it probably felt like one of those moments where you stop to help for a minute and then continue on with life, but kittens rarely work that way. The second this little guy let himself get picked up, everything changed. Tiny kittens that young really depend on somebody noticing them and stepping in to help.

He sounds like he adjusted to indoor life almost immediately. A bath, wet food, cuddles, and using the litter box right away makes it seem like he had experience around people before all of this happened. Some kittens stay terrified for days, but this little guy already sounds comfortable, relaxed, and happy to be around humans. The cuddly personality definitely did not help the emotional attachment situation either.

It is also very easy to understand how this turned into instant love. Tiny kittens somehow have a way of taking over emotionally within a few hours. One minute somebody is rescuing a cat because it feels like the right thing to do, and the next they are already hoping their partner agrees to keeping him forever. Honestly, this little fluffy guy already sounds completely settled in.

At this point, it feels less like a temporary rescue and more like the beginning of a very spoiled indoor cat life.

What does your purrfect future look like?

If money was no object, we would be living in a mansion somewhere outside the city, with all the cats we could pawssibly adopt. We would turn the mansion and the land around it into a cat sanctuary and rescue. No people around to bother us, just us, our partner, and our giant feline family to care for.

Unfortunately, money is still crucial to our survival, so that dream isn't looking like it's getting any closer. Vet visits are more expensive than they were a few years ago, and things in general are getting more costly. With all the stuff going on in the world right now, it's easy to start to feel like everything is pointless.

But, we have one very impurrtant thing to tell you: life may look purrticularly bleak right now, but as long as there are cats, there is still hope.

Because of our cats, we've gotten through some of the ruffest points in our lives. They saved us when we cried for days after breakups, calmed us down when we were in between jobs, and gave us a reason to get out of bed every meowrning. Because of them, we truly live. All to give them the best life we can.

So, yes, your present may not look great. Welcome to the club, snacks are on the left. But as long as we have our cute cat kiddos, some hissterical feline posts to scroll through, and a dream, we know that we can make it through another day. And every day is one step closer to living alone, in a mansion, with just our cats. Anything is pawssible!

We all have morning routines that we cherish and enjoy.

Whether you work a 9-5 from an office, are fully remote, or even unemployed, your mornings usually look the same. From the moment you open your eyes and acknowledge that a new day has arrived, your morning routine begins.

Some people like to step into the shower first thing, and welcome the day feeling clean and refreshed. Others will scroll on their phones for hours before stepping out of their beds, allowing themselves to enjoy a lazy morning without thinking about any of their responsibilities. Then, there are those who refuse to do anything before they hold a steaming cup of coffee in their hands and are actively fueling their bodies with their much-needed dose of caffeine.

Each of these routines, and many more, has its own benefits and qualities. Wishing to start the morning refreshed, entertained, and even with an artificial dose of adrenaline are all valid needs for people when they start their day. They are all highly important. You don't have to force yourself to go to the gym at 6:00 AM to feel like you are taking care of yourself. Even if scrolling on your phone for an hour before you leave your bed is not considered 'healthy', if it makes you happy, why does that even matter?

Our current favorite morning routine is a combination of the few we described above. First, we give our beloved kitten a final cuddle, then get out of bed to brush our teeth to start the day refreshed. After that, we will slowly head to the kitchen and fix ourselves with the best cup of coffee in the world. Then, we take our phones, sit comfortably on the couch alongside our purrfect companion, with our freshly-brewed cup of coffee, and start scrolling our way through the best cat memes on the internet, to ensure we start the day with a smile on our faces.

This routine ensures we feel clean, energized, and gleeful first thing in the morning, so we do not intend to change it anytime soon.
