They have simple needs, they are truly not that difficult to understand, and no matter what those cat haters might say about them, we know that cats bond with other creatures incredibly strongly.

We have come to the conclusion that these people who "hate" cats have simply never given cats a chance. They've encountered some stray cat who hissed at them for accidentally getting too close, and that put them off all other cats in the world. But all it takes is the right cat to change someone's mind. All it takes is a little while in their company. These people flip to the cat-loving side faster than pancakes.

When the cat distribution system is involved, there is no such thing as trapping the "wrong" cat. It's simply not the cat that you were expecting.

We all know, as cat owners, that vet visits with cats are not only stressful as heck, but they are also expensive. It can be nothing. There are so many moments with our cats that we wish we could capture on camera. Moments that happen too fast, that live in our memories forever. Some people are lucky enough to capture them.

Living with cats is pure chaos. Anyone who tells you otherwise has not actually lived with a cat for a significant amount of time. It started with one stray on a ring camera and ended with a full house of cats.

It started with a homeowner noticing the same stray cat showing up on their ring camera over and over. Instead of brushing it off, the homeowner started leaving out food and water, turning a quick sighting into a daily routine. The cat kept coming back, got more comfortable, and before anything official like TNR could happen, she showed up clearly pregnant and changed the whole situation.

The stray began spending time on the porch and eventually let the homeowner pet her. A heated cat house went out, the setup got more permanent, and then she disappeared. The homeowner went looking, checking nearby woods and trying to figure out where she went.

The update came from a neighbor's Facebook post. It was the same cat, now with kittens, just in a different spot. The homeowner brought the mom and kittens in while waiting for spay and neuter appointments, planning to foster and move them along.

That plan only partly worked. The mom cat, later named Mae, and two kittens went to new homes, but three stayed. Miyu, Runty, and Black Bean stuck around and became part of the household. What started as feeding a stray turned into a long-term setup without much planning, and three years later, those cats were still there like they had always been.

Meet Dan! This guy was playing Pokémon Go; he was walking around a Chevron up the road from his apartment and listening to the nature around him, when suddenly he hears a little squeaking. We've been following this woman's journey to rescue her neighbor's cat for a long while, and for a moment there, we weren't sure if the journey would have a happy ending. It seemed like everything was standing in the way of this sweet feline's freedom, and try as this heartwarming human might, there was only so much she could do to help.

Luckily, she never gave up for a moment, and we finally get to share the whole story, happy ending included.

Kendall is a 24-year-old woman living in Los Angeles, and earlier this year, she shared the story of how she rescued her cat, Lucky. It all started when her neighbor got evicted and left her cat behind in a locked apartment with no food or water. After a few days, Kendell noticed the cat's calls of distress from the vacant apartment and started feeding him through the small crack beneath the front door. While she was feeding the abandoned cat, Kendall tried to contact the authorities and the building management in order to find someone who could get the sweet baby out, but none of them were willing to help her.

After a month of feeding the kitten from under the door, Kendall was ready to give up. She knew the cat couldn't live off the little food she managed to get through to him, and they were running out of time.

That was until a kind city volunteer managed to finally get the apartment door open, and Kendall was able to get the cat out and give him the care he so desperately needed. After that, she took him home, officially adopted him, and named him "Lucky." Without Kendall, Lucky would have been forgotten within a week, but she managed to save his life and give him the care and home he deserved.

Purrsonally, we've never flown with our cats. They're not very adventurous, prefurring their cozy home and alone time instead of the stress of airports, planes, and new homes while on vacation. But that doesn't mean every cat is like that! Some cats love to travel, and we give all those who travel carefully with their fluffy felines a big round of appaws. It's not easy to fly with a pet, even if you're a seasoned purrfessional.

If all goes well, your cat, in their airline-approved cat carrier, will sit under the seat in front of you and sleep most of the way. Maybe, if everyone around you is sleeping or feline-friendly, you can let them sleep on your lap for a while. Unless… your cat demands a whole row to themselves, then you might have to force passengers to change their seats to give him enough room, cause a whole soap opera even before taking off, and get a whole plane full of people to give you the evil eye for the next six hours.

That's what happened on this Alaska Airlines flight. The cat, which apparently belongs to an airline employee, was given preferential treatment over a paying customer. What hurts even worse? The customer actually paid for an upgraded seat… and was seated in a normal economy after. It started with fostering. Four months spent working with two terrified cats, building trust slowly, sticking with the routine, knowing they would eventually move on to other homes. That's usually how it goes. You help, you let go, and you do it again.

Now this foster pawarent has her very own cat. Wonda is three years old, a Maine Coon who was originally meant to be a breeding cat. Mild hip dysplasia and not getting along with the other females after being sterilised meant she needed a different setup. Instead of another temporary stay, she ended up in a home where she could just stay.

The first night could have been quiet. New place, new person, and everything was unfamiliar. It would have made sense if she hid and took her time. Instead, the second the lights went out, she came right over, flopped down, and settled in. Purring, kneading, and pressing close like she already knew where she belonged.

When caring strangers save abandoned kittens in desperate need of help, you remember that there is so much good in the world to offset the bad.

No one can resist the cuteness of a kitten. Kittens are some of the most precious, sweetest things in the world. Or at least so we thought. We love kittens so much, we see them as something to protect, that the thought of anyone abandoning a bunch of kittens in a bag in the horrible California heat is… well, unthinkable. But there are some people out there who, apparently, don't have that nurturing instinct when it comes to itty bitty kitties. There are some people who are cruel, no matter how much we don't want to believe it. Thankfully, there are good people out there to offset the bad.

When this woman saw these abandoned kittens, her first reaction was, of course, shock. The second one was to do the right thing - to save these kittens. These were not kittens who were abandoned by their mother or lost. Someone else had seen them before, and that someone chose to leave them in a bag to fend for themselves. We need more people like the couple who saved them, who nursed them back to health. Because there will always be bad people out there. We just need to make sure that we're part of the good ones who keep the balance in this world.

It's been a while since we heard of cats living a double life, but this story is on the top of this list.

Not all cats are as faithful as others. It doesn't mean that they don't like their humans… just that they have others. Not making any parallels here (get this thought out of your mind), but it's known that your cat might live a double life, calling themselves "the cat" of another family as well. For them, it means double the snacks, double the pets, and double the size of their kingdom. What more could a cat ask for?

Take our cat, for example. In the previous apartment we lived in there was a shared balcony with the neighbors, who had two cat brothers: Shooki and Simba. They were, and we're not exaggerating, absolute units of cats. Every time they waddled across the balcony to our place, it was a "Oh lawd, they comin'" situation all over again. But our cat, Cassie, is a slender void warrior princess who showed them who's the boss. As long as she let them, they were welcome in our place. But the neighbor described the rule of terror she conducted in their place - she was the queen of both apartments. Luckily for her, the neighbors thought she was cute (which she is).

But some cats don't expand their kingdoms by invading another apartment and subjugating its cats to your will (looking at you, Cassie). Some take a tour at the near care home, and decide "Yes, these old people are great. I'm going to live here 50% of my time". Which is exactly what happened to one cat mom, who discovered her cats in the care home right next to her home. And yes, it's as wholesome as it sounds.

Spring is here, and it brings its sun power with it - to the joy of all cats!

Hello there, fellow feline fans and cat pawrents! The height of spring is finally here, and honestly, it's about fluffing time. Now that we're finally in May and those annoying April showers have finally decided to pack it up and leave, the world is looking way more inviting. While we're out here just trying to figure out our allergies, the cats? Oh, they are absolutely thriving right now. Sunbeam season is officially back in business, and they are here for every single second of it.

There is seriously nothing better than watching a cat find that one purrfect golden patch of light hitting the floorboards and just... melting. With it being Caturday we wanted to give you something sweet to calm down with. And we could not think of anything better than a collection of cute cats chilling in their trees.
