So after getting our food to go from Jack in the Box, we went back to the Stray’s house.   Everyone ate while watching TV.  The Stray suggested that AD33 and I spend the night in the guest room.  That way we could have breakfast in the morning and hang out.  I was open to the idea, but I knew that there would be a problem sometime during the night.  So I decided to just relax while I make decide what my next move will be.

Until recently, online dating has never catered to the Swirl & interracial community.  Over the years, I’ve discussed with several interracial daters that a well designed interracial dating site would flourish.  Most of us waste our time using the popular dating sites such as Match, Chemistry, or even Plenty of Fish.  But a few days ago a new dating site was launched, SwirlUs!  I was one of a few select people who had the opportunity use the site for a few days.  And I have to admit… I love it!

As I mentioned previously, I was in Lakewood/East Dallas having drinks.  The evening with AD33 and the Stray was developing quickly.  Shortly after she declared that she wasn’t in love with her estranged husband, she and AD33 started discussing their relationship needs.  It still seemed strange that she would marry him because he would make a good father.  It was during this part of the conversation that I tuned them out and focused my attention on everyone around the bar.  But the parts that I heard was typical girl talk.

A few weeks ago, I decided to go out to go out with AD33.  We decided to go to South Dallas.  The plan was to have pizza, a few beverages and then finish off the night with some swirl loving.  Everything started out smooth.  AD33 & I enjoyed a few laughs at the pizza bar.  This was the 1st time we’ve been around each other since last year, so things started out slow.  She was surprised that a pizza joint in the hood had such a uptown appeal.  Once we finished eating, we decided to move to the next bar.

On another site, a female, Jae wrote in asking the question…How do I get men outside my race to commit to me. If you’re thinking what I was when I saw the title, I was like ok, what’s this really about. Well a young woman, who is mixed (black and white) doesn’t wish to date any other kind of man except those who are white. At the age of 36 her dating pool is small and with her being mixed, and only dating white men, that pool is incredibly small. And based on the verbiage I believe she is in England which I’m sure makes that super small pool…even smaller.

I have noticed an interesting phenomenon that seemingly hasn’t really changed over the years and has me wondering, what makes white women who swirl so attracted to the bad boy brothers? I think when you are in your teens or early twenty’s it’s typical to see this trend but I’m surprised by the alarming number of older (35-50) white females that are quickly falling into this group. What are they trying to prove? Are these women trying to prove something to black women or other women in general? Perhaps they are so desperate for a man that they change who they are and attract the wrong type; or have they fallen for a stereotype which says if I’m a white woman I have to look, dress and talk a certain way if I’m going to be, to coin a phrase I once heard…a BMW (Black Man’s Woman). And any man who swirls knows that on a clear summer day, you can spot a BMW a good country mile away. LOL.
