Racist Judge Bardwell Resigns

It’s been a couple weeks since a Louisiana Judge created a total media whirlwind. In case you haven’t heard, Justice of the Peace Keith Bardwell refused to marry a interracial couple. And as crazy as this sounds, this wasn’t the 1st time he refused. There have been several local reports that confirm that has always maintained that policy.

Judge Bardwell says he created the policy because interracial marriages cause harm to the interracial children. ”I’ve had countless numbers of people that was born in that situation, and that they claim that the blacks or the whites didn’t accept the children. And I didn’t want to put the children in that position”, Judge Bardwell said.

I know you probably think he is joking, but he’s serious.

What I find amazing is, Judge Bardwell was elected to office in 1975. It makes me wonder what other judicial rulings he’s made on racial bias. With 30 years in office, I wonder if the State of Louisiana will investigate his court files. To add insult to injury, during a CBS interview the Judge says the law wasn’t broken.

Can You Date A Blogger?

Lately I’ve decided to expand my horizons and meet some of my female readers. To my surprise, most of my readers are women. Which means there is a chance of more than just a meeting. Which creates an interesting conflict. Should I write about a woman who is a reader? Or would you date someone who writes about you in a blog?

A couple years ago, I met LisaQ from 20-forty.com. She wrote about me and yet it didn’t bother me at all. It didn’t matter if she had good or bad to say about me, it never bothered me. Maybe it’s different for men than women.

I’ve met several women who are readers of my site. Most of them knew me before I began writing on IDW. Only one of them didn’t want me to write about her, because her off and on again boyfriend also read my site. Of course, I didn’t divulge anything that would disclose her identity and I kept most of our rendezvous private. But over the last few months, I’ve had lengthy conversations with a couple readers. One of the white women mentioned that even if we’re just lovers it would be difficult to read about my social activities with other women. Even though we both understand that we’re not in a exclusive relationship, does reading my site make it that much difficult?

Do I meet every female reader? No. I’ve had one that has stalked me for almost a year. When she 1st approached me, I entertained the idea of a rendezvous. But when I had a weird feeling and turned her away. Since then, she has tried to maintain contact via email, facebook, and everything else that you can imagine.

Would you date someone if you knew they were writing about you in a blog?

Am I Colored – Alpha Boy Edition

One of the things I enjoy the most about being is a parent is educating and enlightening my kids. Recently Alpha Boy and I were talking about football. He mentioned that West Mesquite High School had the most black kids on their football team that he’s ever played against. Of course, I thought that was funny. After he told me about their game, he also mentioned that there was only 3 colored players on his team.

Hot For The Teacher, Part 2

It finally happened. I made plans to have drinks with one of my high school teachers. We spent almost 2 weeks emailing and talking on the phone. We decided that we would meet one evening in Addison. That would be 1/2 way between her place and mine. I was a bit anxious about meeting. It seemed to be a bit odd that a woman that was a teacher in my school would now cross the line into a romantic interest.

Recycling From The Past

Sometimes I recycle someone from my past. And recently, I did exactly that and it was because of the sex. After spending time a few weeks ago with CR31, I needed to clear my sexual memory. Out of the clear blue, GS37 called me. I was a bit shocked since I hadn’t heard from her in over a year.

It’s been a while, but I was a high school freshman once. I was the new kid at a new school. I had a lot of new friends and plenty of new teachers. One of my classes was across the hall from a cheerful and young teacher. Even though I wasn’t in her class, I made an impression. How much of an impression I wouldn’t know until a couple weeks ago.

I Am Back!

I took a break from writing. After 18 months of providing endless content, I decided to take a brief break. Of course, I didn’t take a break from my social calendar. I have so much to tell and discuss. The last couple weeks I’ve been having fun with Alpha Boy, Dirt Bike Boy and I’ve experienced plenty of social excursions/dates.

Recently I realized that I am embarrassed by my ex-wife. Let me paint the picture of how I came to this realization. A couple weeks ago I was at football practice with Dirt Bike Boy. I was sitting in a lawn chair on the sidelines with all the other gossiping parents. As I look around each parent matches the other parent. For example, you can look at Betty and have a good understanding of what Jerry is attracted to in a woman. And vise-versa.

Reconnecting With DB42

Saturday evening I went out with DB42. DB42 is a soon to be divorced mom. She has two kids and lives in my old neighborhood. I didn’t realize it at the time, but she lives a couple blocks from Krazy V and a few minutes from TR37. It’s been some time since we’ve done anything together. It’s been 4 years since our last date.

I’m Ready For College Football

It’s a long 3 day weekend. And I’m excited that this is the 1st weekend of college football. It seemed like the off season was the longest in history. But as usual I’ll be watching my favorite team, The University of Texas Longhorns. I will probably spend Saturday at Fox Sports Grill or some other popular sports bar.
