Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... Why I Enjoyed

1. Powerhouse cast and powerful story. Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor, and of course the ever popular team up of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol. As a brother and a son, I can relate with the characters and their stories and emotions.
2. I have seen some Shahrukh Khan and Kajol movies before but this is their first movie that really made me teary-eyed. Who will not get carried away with Rahul's sobs? Kajol as always was very charming and bubbly (that's why I love watching her movies). She received the Best Actress Award for this film.
3. The movie is all about loving your family. I can recommend that you watch this with your family. Just be prepared to cry in front of them.

The movie was filmed in Korea and includes various locations that have appeared in Korean dramas that were broadcast in Thailand.

Directed by debutant Pradeep Sarkar,^[2] the film was based upon a screenplay by the film's producer, Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The movie featured Vidya Balan, Saif Ali Khan and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. The film primarily revolves around the lead characters, Lolita and Shekhar. Since childhood, Shekhar and Lolita have been friends and slowly this friendship blossoms into love. A series of misunderstandings surface and both of them are separated with the conniving schemes of Shekhar's father. The plot deepens with the arrival of Girish who supports Lolita's family.

Why I Enjoyed

1. The story is so simple but what makes it special is the no over-the-top acting and the range of emotions the actors convey. You can feel every emotion of the main characters be it happy or sad.

2. Great setting, it's as if you're really in the 1960's.

3. Captivating music. Great selection of songs. Kudos to the composer and playback singers. I watched the movie twice much for this reason.

4. A story with a happy start should also have a happy end because for me watching movies is a form of relaxation and not a source of depression. And Parineeta didn't fail me on this category.

5. This is the fourth movie with Saif Ali Khan that I've watched and one thing I've noticed is his and the playback singer's voice don't have much difference. Sometimes I can almost believe that Saif is the one who really sings.

Anjaana Anjaani (Hindi: अन्जाना अन्जानी, Anjānā Anjānī ^?; English: Stranger, Stranger) is a Hindi Romantic film directed by Siddharth Anand, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Zayed Khan. Anjaana Anjaani is the story of Kiara (Priyanka Chopra), and Aakash (Ranbir Kapoor). Kiara is based in San Francisco, while Aakash is a New York City boy. Aakash has to clear a huge loan of $12 million, which he is unable to. Unable to find any means, suicide seems the only option to him. He decides to jump off the George Washington Bridge. This is when he bumps into Kiara, who is also bound to commit suicide because she caught her fiance Kunal (Zayed Khan) cheating on her. They both try to put an end to their lives but are deterred by the coastguards. Still keen on ending their lives, Aakash deliberately gets hit by a car and Kiara falls off the bridge and breaks her neck. This proves to be yet another failed attempt and they end up in hospital together. While recovering, both get to know each other. Continuing their attempts at suicide, they both try to kill themselves five times, by all means possible, but all in vain. They decide to end their lives on 31st of December 2009. With 20 days to go, they decide to fulfill their unfinished wishes and thus begins their journey.

Gnômeo & Juliet is a 2011 animated family film loosely based on William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet. Mrs. Montague and Mr. Capulet (Julie Walters and Richard Wilson) are two elderly people who despise each other. When they leave the garden, objects come alive in both their yards. The Montague yard is filled with blue garden gnomes, and the Capulet yard houses red garden gnomes. Gnomeo (voice of McAvoy) and Juliet (voice of Blunt) have as many obstacles to overcome as their quasi namesakes when they are caught up in a feud between neighbors. But with plastic pink flamingos and lawnmower races in the mix, can this young couple find lasting happiness?

Why I Enjoyed
1. This film is so cute! The gnomes are cute! They are witty and fun to watch that I was laughing most of the time.
2. The story is told in a way that both the little and old ones were drawn into.
3. Animation was superb. I love the colors and the brightness in the entire film. The gnomes were fragile and has realistic texture. Add to that the clay clinging sounds they made. It's as if you're seeing real garden gnomes.
4. The Elton John songs were used very appropriately. I liked the song "Saturday night's the night for fighting" used for the drag race and of course Lady Gaga and Elton John's "Hello Hello"
5. The outline of course is Romeo and Juliet scenario how the two due to family loyalty should not be together. Unlike the original story this is light hearted and more kid friendly and of course it ended happily.

Why I Enjoyed
1. If you are going to watch an Indian film for the first time then you should watch this. 3 Idiots will break your old perception about Bollywood. You may think that song and dance sequences in a film are corny because of how old Philippines movies were. I must say, don't compare the two productions. The dance choreography in Indian films are cuter and the effects adds more color to the scenes.
2. Music was good and well placed with the scenes. The songs used in the movie have deep meaning and fit well to the plot. Also, the movie shows the fantastic natural wonders of India. The aerial shots of Shimla and Ladakh are pleasant treat to the eyes.
3. For me, the actors played their roles very well may it be in the college or the 10 years after that. All of them came out with convincing portrayals. This is definitely one of Aamir Khan's best performances.
4. The story was great. It covers friendship, the drama and fun of college, family matters, and of course romance. Both humorous and emotional scenes are combined in the right proportion. This film offers lots of rib-tickling moments. One memorable funny part is when the frame goes black and white every time Farahn's family is involved in the scene. And of course Chatur's comic episodes in college such as when he imitated James Bond during the freshmen initiation and his memorized crazy speech. The twist is also totally out of the blue and keeps you hooked to the movie. Just when you think this feel-good comic flick is leading to its culmination, there is another surprising element at the climax which is brilliantly weaved out!
5. I was Rancho in my college years and I also had my Farhan and Raju. It's no question why i can relate to this film. Just like Rancho, I didn't care about my grades too but I always wanted to make the best projects. My team of course submitted the best project design. Although unlike Rancho, I didn't top the batch but my life turned out to be Aal Izz very very very Well.

A photography enthusiast and popular student in high school, Shone is the son of a former football athlete and also shows skills in the sport. This makes a lot of the girls in school go crazy over him, including Nam. However, Nam is well aware that she is not the prettiest of the bunch, but she doesn't give up easily. With help from her close girl friends, Nam tries everything to make herself more beautiful and outstanding in school - hoping that Shone would like her someday.

Why I Enjoyed:
1. Based on the movie, high school life in Thailand is no different here in the Philippines. A few or more scenes in the movie are like memoirs of my high school life. It feels different when you watch something that you can relate to.
2. The values of family and friends are nicely pictured.
3. The comedy is so natural specially with Teacher Inn.
4. No puzzling twists. The plot is simple and the creators of the film were able to make the audience relate to the characters emotions and experiences.
5.Overall, it made me giddy.

Why I Enjoyed:
1. This movie is what it is, a ROMANTIC COMEDY.
2. The dialogue is witty and somewhat vulgar in certain instances that makes for a fun time.
3. The characters being believable and likable, when the film tries to make you emotional, it succeeds.
4. The plot line is simplicity itself: two people agreed on having sex as their only relationship ("sex friends", "fxxx buddies" are two terminologies employed in the movie) end up along the inevitable path of falling in love.
5.Sure the ending is predictable and a few of the background actors deliver lackluster performances but Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher fit very nicely together as the main characters.

Why I Enjoyed:

1. Great soundtrack. This is one of the reasons why I love Bollywood films. The songs are just right to the scenes they are scored. I downloaded the songs and they're on repeat.

2. You can just enjoy watching the film and not think of any puzzling scene.

3. Nice chemistry of the actors.

4. I'm not an acting critic but I can say that the actors gave justice to their roles.

5. It has a nice ending.
