I love the Bel-Loc. I am a sucker for retro diners, and it is nearby. I do love those blueberry pancakes, though I am intending to try a milkshake the next time. There is a newspaper article pasted by the door raving about 'em.

All I can say is good luck. It was probably the most scary dining experience I've had. I would wager that they will close by the end of the year. I was so looking forward to having a place to sink my teeth into. Yet another Baltimore culinary disaster.

Suzanne, I too read cookbooks like they are novels and treasure them all. I just gave my very first cookbook, given to me by my grandmother when I was just 7, to my niece who keeps it under her pillow so she will dream about becoming a chef.

I too am looking forward to the change. I would have liked to patronize Freda's, but I was continually dismayed by their 9-5 hours. now, what The Falls does with the liquor license there is the next question...

Great interview! Bryan's so stoic on the show - it's nice to hear a little about how he feels.

Very diplomatic on Robin, too...
