First Photo of ‘Ender’s Game’ Movie Features Harrison Ford

The first Enders Game still, featuring Harrison Ford, has hit the web. The movie, adopted from Orson Scott Card’s novel, features Harrison Ford as Colonel Graff, and Asa Butterfield as Ender.

In the photo above we get a first glimpse of Hugo’s Asa Butterfield (right) as Ender, standing in line with other new recruits (a.k.a. “Launchies”) early on at his time in the Battle School. He’s facing off with the imposing Colonel Graff (Harrison Ford) over whether his emails to home are being blocked. It’s telling that the two characters are clashing over communication, since they’ve got major communication issues with each other. In the novel, Ender could never be sure whether Graff was manipulating him, or whether he simply saw great potential in him and wanted to foster it.

News comes from the Sundance Channel Blog that the Steve Jobs inspired biopic, with Ashton Kutcher playing jOBS in the lead role, will debut at Sundance in Jan., 2013.

Dane DeHaan is Harry Osborn in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ sequel

Harry Osborn has been cast. The young actor, who played the lead character Andrew Detmer earlier this year in Chronicle, will play Harry Osborn in the next Spider-Man feature film.

USA Today: 3:46PM EST December 3. 2012 – Director Marc Webb has his Harry Osborn for the Spider-Man series.

Webb announced on Twitter Monday that he had cast Chronicle actor Dane DeHaan as the key role of Peter Parker’s best friend for the follow-up film to The Amazing Spider-Man.

The next installment of the Spider-Man series is due out in May of 2014.

The first glimpse of The Hangover Part 2 has hit the web. See the trailer over at Apple.

At a glance I can see that Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis are all back for the sequel. Also to make an appearance are Justin Bartha, Liam Neeson, Juliette Lewis, and yes, Mike Tyson (note the Tyson-like face tattoo on Ed Helms in the photo above).

I’m excited, but hold reservations for a comedy sequel.

The first full length trailer for the new movie Apollo 18 has hit the web. Check it out below.

As far as I can tell, Apollo 18 looks like a alien encounter flick on the moon shot in the home-movie, “Paranormal Activity”, “found-footage” style. Apollo 18 is due in theaters on 4/22/11.
