The book is about discovering the 8 different animal habitats by lifting the flap on each page to discover the relationships occuring above and below the surface. 

 

Both "The River" and "Above and Below" are now available to pre-order from major book shops including Waterstones, WH Smith, Amazon etc. 

 

"The River" has been also translated into several different languages including Dutch and French. Hopefully it'll be translated into Japanese too!

I've recently worked with a London based publisher called Caterpillar books/Little Tiger to produce a beautiful book called "The River".

Here is the sneak peak of the book.

The book will be published in spring 2016!

 

I've done another gorgeous book with them and hopefully I can show some of it soon too.

Hiyoko Club is one of the most popular and widely read child nursing magazine in japan, targeting prarents who have kids aged between 0 to 1.5. 

It was always my dream to work for a picture book so this is a dream-comes-true job for me. 

As with the very tight deadlines etc. it was a hard and very challenging job but I thoroughly enjoyed the process of making it and now I'm very happy with the finished look of the book. 

The book will be an insert for the February issue and they have decided to feature the book making process in the January issue as well.

It was so much fun working with Angela and Frances who are the founder and the editor of the book.
Illustrating maps was a new challenge for me but it worked well in the end and I'm very happy with how the finished product looks.

The beautifully illustrated cloths (10 different designs by 10 different artists) are perfect for cleaning spectacle frames, mobile phones, tablets etc.
