A few months ago I was visiting my parents and my dad took us on a beautiful drive.  He told me about this old home and that the roof was sunken in.  As we approached it I realized why he always loved to see it when he went hunting.  It was really beautiful for a old house.  I to was amazed that it was still standing through all these years.  I wondered about it's history, I am sure it had some great stories to tell.  I can only wonder.   I had to cross a barbed wire fence and weave through some pretty thick brush to get close enough to get  a good picture.  I was a little nervous since my dad had just been telling us stories about Coyotes in the area.  I am a chicken ,  I snapped a few pictures and hurried out of there.  I have wondered about this old house this week.  Has the roof collapsed with all of the snow they have gotten this winter?  I am sure glad that I was able to hear of my dad's stories and take a picture of this.  I know that when ever I see this picture I will be reminded of my dad and his amazing experiences that he shares with my family.

 What's a scrapbook with out pictures?  I have been scrapbooking for that past 10 years and I have taken many pictures of my kids, sports events, family reunions, nature, and everything else that catches my eye.  I have  acquired quite the collection of pictures.   I have found that I love taking pictures just as much and sometimes more that scrapbooking them.  For the next few days I will be posting some of my favorite Nature pictures that I took last June.  This picture is taken at an old coal mining town up in Emery County.  I love taking pictures of old things. I loved how the trees were just peeking through the window of this building.  The colors on the inside were unbelievable.  I can't wait to get back up there this summer and take a family picture here.

I have to admit that I fell in love with this layout when I first saw it on Tresa Black's blog  a few weeks ago.  I had to copy it.  I loved it so much that I had my class make it this month.  She used such a great variety of techniques that I haven't used in my classes for awhile.  Ripping, Rolling edges, Sanding, and using the new Top Coats... She has such a eye for putting things together. They were very fun to make.  I made a set for each of my kids.  Can't wait to get pictures on them.

I made this sign in book for a wedding this weekend.  It was so fun, I hadn't done a wedding book for awhile.  They are so much fun.  Their pictures were darling, the photographer did a great job.  It was fun to put it together.  The colors were Silver and Navy Blue.  Awesome combo.
