Overall : Grace secretly nurses a deep grudge against her best friend that stems from the irrational belief that the friend is indirectly responsible for the unhappiness in her marriage. She will do everything to make her friend suffer and break a her marriage. The question is will she succeed ?
My rating is: 8/10

Should you watch it: YES. I absolutely loved this movie. I was surprised because I thought it was going to be the usual movie where Grace will succeed in breaking her friend's marriage and then she will find out at the end. You will be surprised about what will really happen. I don't want to give any spoilers.

Performance of the Actors: I love Omotola and I think she can't do no wrong. She was absolutely gorgeous in the movie and played her part perfectly. Mike is also good at playing the bad guy. So overall this is a descent movie with a good storyline and some hilarious moments.

Deadly Affair 1,2 Ghanaian movie review

Overall: To the public they are the perfect couple but behind closed doors she was having illicit affair with Racheal, a photo grapher. Leo, her husband knew of their affair; he was silent about it but constantly gathered information on how to expose them. A perfect plan of revenge turned into an ugly encounter when Diana, Leo's wife found out her husband paid Racheal to kill her. A monster in disguised, so which of them can come out clean without pointing a finger. ( African movie place)

The first part of the movie Diana is attacked by someone in her house while her husband is out at night having a drink with his friends. The second part explains how they came to the attack. Who was behind this plot ? you will be surprised.

My rating is: 7/10

Should you watch it: Yes, The second part of this movie is called Domestic Enemy. If you love a good movie with lies, murder, mystery you will love this movie although all the answers to the questions are not going to be answered in this one . I am actually going to watch the second part and review it.

Performance of the Actors: The actors plays their parts very well. Jackie always has some cute weaves on and of course Majid is a cutie pie. The movie is shot in a beautiful house and so far I really want to see the second part to see how this web of deceit unfolds.

Maybe my Ghanaian readers can answer this question why its always the same actors that play the same role over and over again. There is only one mother in all the Ghanaian movies and y'all know who I am talking about.

My rating is: 50%. I give it 50 only because the image and the sound of the movie were ok otherwise it deserves a 20%.

Should you watch it: Ok so let me tell you something , this movie has 2 of the best actors in Nollywood but worse storyline. The movie does make any sense whatsoever it starts the same way it ends 4 hours later. The movie is boring has hell . There are some characters in the movie that do not need to be thereSo many questions were left unanswered. So should you watch it hell no !

Performance of the Actors: Jim Iyke is so hot in this movie. Both of the main Characters were good.

Ghanaian Movie "The Groom's Bride part 1,2 review

Should you watch it: Yes , True love never dies. The ending was really unexpected. I was not too sure about what was going to happen. Its a nice love story and the movie is not too long. I love me some Ghanaian movie.

Performance of the Actors: All the actors were good. The only thing I did not like is the fact that Jackie was losing her Gambian accent at times. Majid is such a cutie pie .

Close Enemy 1 &2 , Seed Of Sorrow 1 & 2

Overall: Chike and Nelson are best of friends who care about each other greatly. It came as no surprise to chike when his friend Nelson decided to sponsor his wedding to Vivian Upon being introduced to VIvian by Chike, Nelson decided to snatch Vivian away from his friend by enticing her with his money. Money they say is the root of all evil; will Vivian succumb to Nelson's advances and why would Nelson want to betray and backstab his own friend. The devil you know is better than the angel you don't know

My rating is: 87%

Should you watch it: YES it teaches a good damn lesson

Performance of the Actors: Ok of my best actors are in this movie and yet they were humble. I love the acting of Chike’s mum. All I can say is if that was my son that would be me. I loved it when Leo had an issue it really shows the ways of a man. Remember some peoples trash are other peoples treasure turned trash LOL. Anyways without giving too much away please see this one it’s a good simple straight forward movie that will entertain you when you’re cooking something to eat.

Please Marry Me 1 & 2

Overall: The winner of a raffle draw gets to spend one night out with the charming Nick, who happens to be a physician and also a play boy. Anastasia , a Pediatrician, unknowingly gets entered into this draw by her co workers who think Nick and Anastasia will be great together. Anastasia wins and spends a night out with Nick which changes her perception about him.

My rating is: 80%

Should you watch it: Yes it was entertaining enough

Performance of the Actors: I love these three actors from various movies they always tend to impress me. But seriously who was the stylist on this shoot Yvonne baby doll that wig weave whatever that was shouldn’t have so many hair pins showing seriously?? Worst hair I have ever seen you in but kudos on the fab purple dress. The soundtrack for sure a step up from the normal.

PD( Prince David) what doctor wears sun glasses while working in the hospital. You couldn't operate on me that's for fing sure. Playboy in the operating room nonsense!!!!

Watch the date scene glasses in the night as well this man must be blind as a bat.

It's so weird to see a ghollywood movie with a dude that has such an ego

After that the movie gets soft and predictable. The most realist part of the movie was the part when anas is drunk I won’t spoil it but at least he spoke the truth that most men wouldn’t even utter.

HEART OF FIRE, WIFE ON FIRE PART 1&2

Overall : This movie is about a love story between two childhood friends. Donald (Van Vicker) went to Canada to study and came back to the country and started looking for Chelsea (tonton) his long time love. They get married after a few unnecessary fights. Donald father gives him an ultimatum to give him a child or lose his wealth but unknown to him, his wife, Chelsea is making sure she does not get pregnant by having them use condoms and contraceptives.

My rating is: 7/10

Should you watch it: Yes. You have to be patient with this movie because the first part is very boring and I was about to turn it off when things started to get heated. There are a lot of twists and turns that i was not expecting at all . I will not give you any spoilers so make sure you check it out. Donald parents are just typical African parents. They want to know everything about their kid's marriage.

Performance of the Actors: The chemistry between Tonto and Van is just incredible even tough they force things a bit at times. All the actors played their parts incredibly.

Overall: This is a story about to men that became friends since they were kids . Should you watch it: Don't bother !! This movie has too many stories going on at the same time. I had a hard time figuring out what story they were going to stick with. The love stories , the friendships, the sickness, or the bad behavior of Mike. I know there are good friends out there but not this kind of puppy love.I could actually count how many times Nadia appeared in the movie so i don't know why she is on the cover of the movie.

Performance of the Actors: Very poor and overacting.

Overall :Debbie ( Uche Jumbo) and her two friends Nancy and Oluchi played by Uche Nnanna and Ruby Orjiakor are runs girls on campus. They usually arrange their runs through a middleman on campus but Debbie’s desperation to make quick money for her sick father’s hospital bills drives her to the club looking for clients without that safety measure. It is while out at a club doing runs that she comes across Emeka played by Van Vicker who takes a liking to her and hires her out for the whole night. After the night is over they part ways but bump into each other another night in the same club. Emeka sees Debbie dancing with a guy and becomes insanely jealous. They end up getting married and that's when the trouble starts..... Emeka does not trust Debbie one bit and he takes extreme measures to make sure that debbie does not cheat on him.

My rating is: 78% because the movie is a bit lengthy

Should you watch it: Yes, you will be chocked by the ending

Performance of the Actors: my sexy van really got into character in this movie , Uche is just the same in every movie ( the face movements).

Overall: They were very poor and were struggling in life until they became the royals of the land. Her greed and wickedness was outrageous. Should you watch it: It was a good movie the storyline kept me engaged and it was entertaining?

Performance of the Actors: where do we start? A great cast with a great story. Directed well. It’s for sure a must watch

Should you watch it: Yes this is a great movie.

Performance of the Actors: This movie may have been made with a low budget but for sure the message came across loud and clear. It was interesting and very good. All of the actors were great and on point. This shows a story of the true desperation of the wants and needs of people.

Blind Couple PT 1 & 2

Should you watch it: Yes I loved this movie

Performance of the Actors: This movie was good yes it’s 2009 but it’s an oldie and goodie. I loved Ijeoma’s parents in this movie the chemistry was very believable that they loved and cared for their children.

Performance of the Actors: There is not much to day about this other then I hated it. Such a shame because the talent was there. Just another example that big names don’t mean good performances.

Performance of the Actors: A very nice movie with a message loved this one. All the acting was great the story was realistic and the movie was paced enough to keep me interested. I hope more movies come out of this producing stable like this one. Desmond was believable as Raymond when he faced his trials awesome acting and my girl Mercy love’ed ya in this you play the bad girl so well and really even my Bro who doesn’t watch these movies said your body is bangin’ so keep it up. On top of that my guy Van I like the supporting role in this film you added enough to that character to make him slimy.

Performance of the Actors: Ok all of my peoples were good in this movie. Mercy, Muna, Olu, Ali, But after I started watching part 3,4,5,6,7 really I didn’t think this movies could be any more disjointed and wack. Please spare my eyes from more nonsense but I still recommend at least the first 2 parts.

Overall: Alex and Gina are in love. They plan the day that they will get married to the approval of friends and family, but Alex’s temperament gets in the way & things fall apart for the two love bird when he couldn't hold his anger by beating up Gina in every slightest provocation. The more she digs against her better judgment the more she finds out about what shapes this man’s anger. Can Alex change or will his unresolved issues destroy them both?

Should you watch it: This was an awesome movie. I haven’t seen my sweety Ramsey in a min and he’s back with full colors. You will not regret this purchase.

Performance of the Actors: Oscar, Oscar, Oscar worthy by all the actors involved. Some parts of the story were stupid to me but that was because I have never gone back to someone who wished me harm. You’ll had me yelling on Omo on the screen.

Crazy Pt 1,2

Should you watch it: Truthfully I didn’t really like catch me if you can and now this is a film from the same production stable. Great concept, poor execution. You can do without it.

Performance of the Actors: This movie had every potential of being great. I mean just look at the cast...fabulous. But what happened? Low budget? Poor production? Bad directing? It could be any number of things. Ultimately I didn’t enjoy and the ending was rushed. I say try again .

Should you watch it: Ok I could say no it was way tooooooooo long for my taste but If you like these actors like I do you might want to give it a try.

Performance of the Actors: The acting was good again not the greatest but over all good. I liked the angle they took with this movie. But Nollywood really there was way too much story I kinda wasted my afternoon just to get to the end. It is possible that you could help me out and tell an exciting and concise story under 3 hrs?

Dirty Secret pt 1, 2 - Sequel Little Secret pt 1, 2

Overall: Some people will do anything for money the biggest gigolo in town only dates older woman that was until he met the likes of Pandora. Pandora is a spoiled brat who gets anything she wants, that is until her Father marries a new wife without telling her. This sets off a chain of event that could destroy everyone involved. The father makes Cain a proposition he can’t refuse. That is when Pandora and the father Dirty secret is revealed. Shortly Pandora finds a new love but can the Sins of he past be erased? A must watch for sure.

My rating is: 60%

Should you watch it: I had to watch it twice to really appreciate what the script was trying to do. This is a subject that even Hollywood rarely tells. Give it a try.

Performance of the Actors: Frankly I wasn’t disgusted by it I have seen the edited and unedited version of this movie. Truthfully I think the scenes in the bedroom could have been better executed. I know it was meant to be the house if extreme sin but it was unrealistic. I mean really would they really be doing all that crap in their swimming pool? And how fake was the Step moms attempt at catching them in the act when it was finally explained in part 4 with her Kodak camera? I think it was the subject matter that deterred most people. Because either they don’t want to believe this happens or they want to keep it shut that it does. Either way I applauded the attempt again it’s one of those subjects that if Hollyweird(hollywood) was telling it they might be up for a Golden Globe.

Forever Young PT 1,2,3

Sorry I've been away my peeps. I'm in school and working at the same time but now I have a mini break so here it goes.........

Starring: Jackie Appiah as Latisha, Kulsume Senare as Selimat Ellen Mahama, John Dumelo as Spark

Genre: Drama

Overall: Behind the lights of extreme wealth, glitz, and glamour lies the darkest secrets to a woman’s heart. More so the heart of a mother. She will bring down the heavens to protect her child and provide her anything she wants. But what is the motive behind such over protectiveness? What would the mother do to stay forever young? Find out in this suspense filled drama.

My rating is: 90%

Should you watch it: This is some of the best acting and script writing I have seen in a while. It kept me glued to the end.

Performance of the Actors: I love Jackie in this role it was a perfect mix of the outraged spoiled daughter and the “I want to be independent” young woman. As for Mama Kulsume, again another Oscar worthy performance. The fact that we felt that something was about to happen or was happening was awesome the looks I was waiting to find out what was next.

Believe Me Pt 1,2,3

Overall: A dedication and religious man is accused of raping the daughter of the inspector of police. Is it true, did he do it...What could be his motive when the girl in question happens to be his girlfriend. Does the inspector have something else in mind and he is using this young man as a pawn...A must watch

My rating is: 75%

Should you watch it: Yes enough twists and turns to keep you interested.

Performance of the Actors: I think everyone was OK not great but OK. Most of part 2 consisted of Jennie’s flash back. The most real part of this movie was the fact that Jennie continued to pick the wrong guy. And the issue with the father’s infidelity and subsequent lack of help to free Derek was rushed and not explored enough. I would have loved to see more of that. Artus impressed me in this movie less of the overbearing yelling and crying and more of the smooth guy. I think I liked it.

Makers of Justice PT 1,2

Genre: Romantic Thriller

Overall: Desmond found true and lost her when he left to study abroad. Upon return as a dignified law enforcer, he tried to claim is lost love who was now married to his best friend. He commits murder and other atrocities to cover up his wicked act. When he least expected it, justice caught up with him as the Makers of Justice stopped him in his tracks.

My rating is: 50%

Should you watch it: Good concept slow movie. Your choice.

Performance of the Actors: As we say in the Caribbean. “de bowy is playin de ass” Nonso character is stupid to not at least give the chick a promise ring. I mean really what did he think he was going to find in London? I wish that part of the dialogue was explored a little more. Seun if hot in this movie he has that attractive cute boy look. 4 years later Cynthia and Kelvin meet and it seems that Cynthia’s is still carrying a torch for Desmond. Dryness! That’s too long! Ok I’m 33 mins in to this movie and I have one thing to say to Nollywwod as a whole. Do you not think that we notice locations? This movie shows Cynthia’s dad’s hose with a huge lion face as a sculpture in the front. That location has been in several movies. Part two is a little dry long dragged out scenes that are kinda wack. The funniest art is when the barrister’s daughter is kidnapped and she asks” Is that my daughter you just killed?” I f I was a mother I would have been asking something else. Script writer need to get in touch with people’s emotions. Do you really think she would be acting that way? I think more characters development could have made this film great.
