Happy Valentine's Day! I am so thrilled to share "love" themed scrapbook page with you! I finally figured out a decent way to take photos of my scrapbook pages! A little lighting and my bird cage card holder and I'm off to the races.

Today's page is a double page spread featuring the Twitterpated product suite - in particular the Designer Series Paper, Designer Buttons and Blushing Bride Pleated Ribbon. What I love about the Twitterpated suite is that it is so versatile - so much so that I was able to do a whole album with this paper including masculine, vacation and Halloween pages. With a ton of colors featured including Pear Pizzazz, Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red and Basic Grey, it offers a lot of flexiblity.

One of the things I've been asked alot about is how you can use smaller pieces of Designer Series Paper on your layouts, and this spread is really a great example. A large heart is cut out of Designer Series Paper using the largest Heart Framelit on Big Shot (seen on the first page) and then smaller punched hearts are used on the second page.  A little bit of patterned paper goes a long way!  You don't have to pile it on to have impact! :)

The front of the envelope features the "sent with love" stamp from P.S. I Love You and I wanted to cover up the "feb 14th" so I used a punched 1/2 circle in Very Vanilla and then added a heart (smallest heart from the Heart to Heart punch) out of red glimmer paper.  So cute!

Today's post is brought to you by Pinterest.  Don't you love it? It's a fun way to find all kinds of things that inspire you!  A fellow demonstrator shared this project with me and it inspired today's girl & boy owls!  Simply adorable!

The pillow box forms the box for the Owl, and then an assortment of punches are used to pull it all together. This project would be perfect for not only Valentine's Day but for a baby shower, a wedding..so many possiblities!

Stampin' Up Supplies

• Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise, Pacific Point, Bashful Blue, Melon Mambo, Rose Red, Pretty in Pink 
• Accessories: Sticky Strip, SNAIL, Glue Dot
• Tools: Big Shot, Pillow Box Die, 1 inch and 1/2 inch Circle Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, Full Heart Punch, Small Heart Punch

Step by Step Directions

1. Cut Pillow Box out of either Melon Mambo or Tempting Turquoise cardstock. Fold along all score lines and then assemble using Sticky Strip.
2. For eyes/beak - cut two 1 inch circles out of whisper white, and two 1/2 inch circles out of Basic Black.  Punch the chubby heart from the Heart to Heart punch out of Pumpkin Pie.  Attach to Pillow Box as shown.
3. Punch full heart out of Regal Rose or Pacific Point. Attach to box with Sticky Strip.  Top of with small heart punched out of Bashful Blue or Pretty in Pink.  Attach with a glue dot.

• Tools: Big Shot,Heart Collection Framelits, Scallop Square Duo Die, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Modern Label Punch

Step by Step Directions

1. Cut Cherry Cobbler card base to 5.5 x 8.5 and fold in half. Cut mat for card out of Crumb Cake cardstock to 4 x 5.25. Attach mat to the card with SNAIL.
2. Using Big Shot, cut larger scallop square out using Cherry Cobbler from Scallop Square Duo.
3. Cut Crumb Cake cardstock to 2.5 x 2.5 and emboss on Big Shot with Square Lattice Folder. Attach to scallop square with SNAIL.
4. Stamp image on Very Vanilla cardstock in Cherry Cobbler ink. Cut out on Big Shot using Heart Framelit. Adhere to scallop square with Stampin' Dimesionals.
5. Attach scallop square panel to card with SNAIL.  Tie a knot of of seam binding and trim. Attach to scallop square with glue dot.  Top off with pearl.
6. Stamp greeting from P.S. I Love You in Cherry Cobbler ink on Very Vanilla cardstock and then punch with Modern Label. Attach to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
7. You are done!

Day 2 of the Valentine's Day extravaganza continues. Today's project is a treat pouch made with the Petite Pocket Die for the Big Shot and the Hearts Collection Framelits! Super easy and cute, cute, cute! And again, here's the P.S. I Love You stamp set which hasn't left my desk since it arrived!

Before I get into the step by step directions for this cute project, I wanted to share a few thing about the Framelits! These new dies are thin and are designed to let you see where you are placing the design before you cut. What's great is that you really can make the most of your paper with them! They are meant to be used with cardstock and Designer Series Paper only.

The Hearts Collection which I used the small die from for this project, lets you cuts single hearts for accents or layering. The largest heart is approximately 5 1/4 wide.

The framelits come in a sturdy envelope, but I wanted a more hard core system for storing them, so after seeing a few options, I settled on this option as it uses all Stampin' Up supplies and is easy to store. I put a Stampin' Up magnet sheet in a Clear Stamp Case and voila, easy storage!

Functional and cute with the addition of a heart to the front and the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper:

• Stamps: P.S. I Love You
• Paper: Whisper White, Real Red
• Ink: Real Red
• Accessories: Red Baker's Twine, Small Cello Bag, Glue Dot, SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals, Sticky Strip
• Tools: Big Shot, Petite Pocket Die, Heart Collection Framelits, 1 inch circle punch

Step by Step Directions – Box

1. Cut Petite Pocket out of Real Red cardstock on Big Shot 
2. Cut side flaps off pocket to create pouch.
3. Cut heart in front of the pouch using the smallest heart framelit
4. Wrap Baker's Twine around top flap as shown.
5. Stamp image in Real Red ink on Whisper White cardstock and punch with circle.  Attach to front flap with Stampin' Dimensionals.
6. Trim off top of cello bag to fit in pouch. Attach to back side of pouch with Sticky Strip.
7. Fill with treats as desired and close using a piece of scotch tape (just under the part which is covered by the flap. 
8. Hold top flap down with a glue dot.

I love making tiny cards like these cuties! Today our first project in a week full of Valentine's Day projects with a twist. While the projects this week are geared towards celebrating love, they are also meant to be adaptable so you can use them all year long.

Step by Step Directions – Box

1. Cut Melon Mambo cardstock to 6.5 x 6.5
2. Using Simply Scored Tool, score on all four sides at 1.5
3. Cut along four of the lines to create “flaps”
4. Assemble box using Sticky Strip.

Step by Step Directions – Cards

1. Cut six pieces of Whisper White cardstock to 6 x 3 and then score at 3 on long side.
2. Cut six pieces of Whisper White cardstock to 2.75 x 2.75.
3. Stamp images and greetings as desired on square piece of cardstock. Attach to card base with SNAIL.
4. Attach buttons as desired using Glue Dots.
5. Slip finished cards, coordinating envelopes into box.  Wrap up with large cello bag and ribbon.
