Here are six jaw-dropping adventure spots in the Philippines.

                1.
Bohol

Bohol is known for glistening white
sand beach resorts, extensive coral reefs, world class diving spots, the
Chocolate Hills (near symmetrical mounds of limestone formations that look like
Hershey's Kisses), and the iconic tarsier (the oldest species of extant primate
in the world). However, this large Philippine Island has lately been a
recurring item in the global tourism grapevine for yet another attraction: the
Danao Adventure Park. Managed by the local government with the aid of private
advocacy groups, the adventure park has become the ultimate hub for
eco-adventure activities. The park offers more than a dozen extraordinarily
thrilling activities that leverage the nature park's rugged and profoundly
varied topography. Accommodating travelers of any stripe--from calm and
composed bird watchers to extreme adventurers, Danao Adventure Park showcases
the scenic Wahig River, a forested mountain range, a native cultural community,
self-sustained organic farms, and cave complexes that provide hours of
spelunking excitement. Popular activities include kayaking, wall climbing,
trekking, camping, cave explorations, village tours, educational tours, and
extreme in-the-park-only challenges such as the Ziplet, Skyride, Plunge,
Suislide, Cliff Rappel, and Root Climb.

                2.
Davao

Very few places offer travelers
the same level of profound thrills as the unique city of Davao. Dubbed the
Eco-Adventure capital of the Philippines, Davao City is home to the country's
highest mountain peak and to the noble and extremely rare Philippine Eagle.
Davao is thoroughly cosmopolitan, being the country's third largest city and a
regional economic player in Southeast Asia. Even then, only 7% of the city's
total land area is urbanized, with around 50% classified as forests or
timberland and 40% appropriated by the state-of-the-art agriculture that has
catapulted the city among the world's top producers and exporters of fruits and
flowers. Considered the cleanest, greenest and safest city in the Philippines,
Davao offers some of the most unique and memorable travel experiences anywhere
in the world. From mountaineers to beach bums, from extreme sports enthusiasts
to cultural historians, and from artists to ecologists, tourists of every
stripe flock to the city to experience its gripping cultural and natural
wonders. Dotting its coasts are top-rated beaches and uninhabited islands while
exotic plants and animal species dwell within the spellbinding topography of
its interior.

                3.
Donsol

Donsol pulls and beguiles. For
travelers who demand nothing but authentic and transformative experiences, the
idyllic coastal town of Donsol in central Philippines provides a one-of-a-kind
setting for unforgettable encounters. By itself, the town already possesses the
attractions that make other destinations elsewhere a hit among global tourists:
fascinating local culture, gorgeous beaches of fine sand, lush forests and
stunningly rugged coastlines. At least for most travelers, these attractions
are enough reasons to pack their luggage, book accommodations, and hit the
trail. But Donsol offers a lot more. If nature had a soul, then Donsol provides
a rare window from which to see it in perfect clarity. Something in the town
attracts two sensitive indicator species that are disappearing in much of their
former ranges. There are only a few thousand whale sharks left in the world and
most congregate and frolic in the waters of Donsol. Meantime, as human
development encroaches on natural habitats, fireflies are also becoming a rare
sight and very few young people even remember seeing them. Fortunately, they
are in jaw-dropping numbers along the course of the Donsol River. In Donsol,
just a few hours after daybreak, people can literally swim at arm's length with
the gentle but colossal whale sharks. After the sun sets, on the other hand,
when only the night sky offers some glimmer of light, thousands of fireflies
synchronize their biolumiscent abilities to add a spectacular surreal gleam to
the riverscape.

                4.
Coron

Combine seven lakes, coral reefs,
mangroves, white sand beaches, a native islander culture, and more than a dozen
islands to explore and you'll get the phenomenal Coron experience. Isolated
from urban centers by the windswept sea, Coron Island is one of the finest
eco-adventure destinations in the world. The extensive reefs surrounding the
island play host to highly acclaimed diving spots while sections of its coasts
are protected by mangrove forests that also provide a secure habitat for
different species of birds, reptiles, mammals and marine life. Sustainably
managed by the peace-loving Tagbanuas--the native tribe that has ancestral
dominion over the island--Coron Island is off limits to visitors at night while
daytime excursions are carefully regulated. Fishing and tourism are the two
industries that keep the island thriving and its precious natural resources
conserved. Trekking, island hopping, scuba diving, swimming, and interacting
with the natives are just some of the memorable activities that provide
priceless thrills when done in Coron.

                5.
Cordillera Highlands

The imposing Cordillera Mountain
Range courses through much of the north central part of Luzon and is the
prominent terrain for the autonomous region that takes after its name. The area
showcases the profoundly inspiring natural and cultural voices of the
Philippine highlands. Given the region's rugged beauty and the fascinating
highland tribes that lend it an extraordinary character, tourism ranks high
among the top sectors that provide the stimulus for the regional economy.
Waterfalls, mountain forests, millennia-old rice terraces, folk art, burial
caves, and nature trails are the irresistible attractions that draw local and
foreign tourists to the Cordilleras. Diverse and colorful, the region's
richness permeates the traditional summer capital of Baguio City, the
ecologically fascinating Mount Data National Park, the moving aura of Sagada,
and the magnificent expressions of folk art in Bontoc and Batad. But perhaps
the most well-known landmark in the area is the sprawling Banaue Rice Terraces,
an engineering and agricultural marvel that has been carved by hand from the
slopes of the mighty Cordillera Mountain Range several thousands of years ago.
Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the rice terraces continue to
nourish the unique tribal cultures that inhabit the region. Memorable Baguio
hikes, challenging bike trails, waterfall and cave explorations, nature
trekking, bird watching, white water rafting, rappelling, cultural/historical
immersions, and meaningful village interactions await travelers who are looking
for unforgettable and extraordinary experiences in this one-of-a-kind location.

                6.
Palawan

Unforgettable. Beguiling.
Palawan. Three interchangeable words as far as natural splendor is concerned.
Voted by Conde Nast as the destination with the best beaches in Asia, Palawan
offers more than pristine sands and one of the richest reef ecosystems in the
world. Isolated from the Philippine's major urban centers, Palawan retains much
of its old-growth rainforests that shelter a surprising number of exotic and
endemic species. Extensive mangrove areas hedge its coasts while lush canopies
lend a rich verdant accent to its rugged interior, attracting a wide variety of
plants and animals that call Palawan their home. Across its beaches are
magnificent limestone islands that jut out of the surf to play a breathtaking
symphony with the sea, while farther across are marine sanctuaries that
international teams of experts consider unparalleled in terms of species
density. Hosting the primary airport of the island province, Puerto Princesa is
the gateway to the Palawan experience and the hub for numerous initiatives on
nature conservation and biodiversity protection.

It is also just a few kilometers
from the world-renowned Underground River, a ribbon of crystal clear water that
flows through spectacular limestone formations over an area that fully
encapsulates a mountain-to-sea transition. Because of its unique richness, the Puerto Princesa Underground River was
declared a UNESCO Heritage Site and was just recently included in the Seven
Natural Wonders of the World Project. There are countless ways of
experiencing Palawan. Aside from taking a breathtaking journey across the
Underground River, travelers can explore the exotic string of islands that
provide a profound natural contrast to the placid contours of the sea.
Travelers have the option to go midpoint between sea and sky by para-sailing or
reacquaint themselves with the element of water by exploring the destination's
unmatched snorkeling sites. Scuba-diving is also a popular attraction,
especially to those who wish to interact with the stunningly colorful denizens
of the coral reef. Simply put, Palawan is the epitome of a tropical paradise
and is unmatched by any place in the world for its ruggedly beautiful terrain,
breathtaking seascapes, world class diving sites, exotic wildlife, nature
trails, extensive sanctuaries, and fascinating native cultures. Nature
trekking, swimming, snorkeling, island hoping, local dishes &
delicacies, scuba diving, bird watching, parasailing, tattooing, ecological
research, bar hopping and photography are just some of the experiences that
become strangely distinctive when done in Palawan.

The Philippines being a tropical
country makes its winds and ocean breeze perfect for sailing. The country's
many beaches are always swarming with surfers and board sailors daily to fully
enjoy the sport they like.

                There
are many board sailing destinations in the Philippines and here are the best
five of them:

                1.
Caliraya - located in Laguna and the
closest board sailing destination fro Manila. Caliraya is considered to be one
of the finest sailing spot in the Philippines. It is a man-made lake built in
the 1930's by American engineers to supply a hydroelectric power plant in
Laguna. The wind blows here are steadily between 12 to 30 knots just ideal for
the right speed while sailing, making one's sailing easier and more
comfortable.

2. Boracay - very famous not only for its
vast beauty but also for its attractive tropical island offers all sailors a

                3.
Anilao - a popular coastline
destination for sailing. Located in southern Luzon, near Batangas. The area's
flat water waves are the ones making it famous among the sailors. It has been
their favorite sailing destination in the Philippines.

                4.
Subic Bay - located in central Luzon
Philippines and has always been visited by board sailors for many years. Subic
is known by tourists especially the Americans, for this is where the American
soldiers are based. Lots of Americans now live here and had settled down with
Filipinas. Everyday, one can find many sailing teams in the bay sailing
wonderfully along the steady waters.

                5.

The raging sea beats the island of Batanes' as if to say I
am King.

The waves violently slap the rocks with enviable freedom.
Its stammering power heeds no remorse.

The island however doesn't back down, doesn't fold-up or
disintegrates. It takes a proud beating with a 'Hah', I am Batanes.

Batanes should indeed be proud of its coffers. It offers an
amazing landscape that is as complex as a Roger Dean art work. The twisting
spiraling mountains roll for miles and miles carpeted with green pastures. Atop
its numerous cliffs one can get a front seat view of the feisty merging waters
of the China Sea with the Pacific Ocean.

There is also something incredibly charming about the
island's unique stone houses. Around 3 meters thick, these rock abodes crafted
by the ancestors have stood against torturous rain and bullying winds. The
roofs are made of cogon providing water proof shade. From afar the houses
create an amazing texture of color and form that is bucolic and unlike anything
that I've ever been in the provinces I've visited.

In spite the amazing scenery the island's greatest strength
is its people - the Ivatans. Storm warriors by birth they still pose a gentle
demeanor, friendly disposition and an unbelievable sense of trustworthiness.
Crime is said to be non-existent in Batanes and people find no need to lock
their doors. There is even a sign posted in the city treasury that reads
"LOST AND FOUND - MONEY. Please claim inside".

As most travel junkies know Batanes is the northernmost
province of the Philippines and its smallest island both in terms of land area
and population. Among its ten petite islands only three are inhabited - Batan,
Itbayat and Sabtang. Sandwiched by Babuyan Island and Taiwan, the province is
closer to Taipei than Manila. In fact an urban legend states that on a clear
day one can see Taiwan and hear Chinese roosters crow.

Growth in Batanes' tourism has been spurred by airlines such
as Asian Spirit that conveniently jets weekly flights (for a P10,000 round trip
ticket price). Surprisingly posh, the main airport is located in Basco, the
province's capital (found in Batan island). Albeit the flight being a bit
choppy, I land safely in Batanes and seek my adventure.

                DAY 1 -
Going around Basco

A refreshing contrast to other city centers, Basco has
neither a mall nor a Starbucks coffee shop - yet. The pseudo-commercial center
is a small lane filled with tiny groceries, supplies stores and ukay-ukay
shops. Zero tricycles explain the quiet streets and only a couple of jeeps and
automobiles exist here.

                2:00 pm

Shanedel's, a family managed inn is a great place to bunk.
The place has a killer view of the Batan Bay and is right beside the busy Basco
port. An old lighthouse perched on a hill can also be seen. Languid cows graze
the pasture. The bovines stood so still I almost doubted they were real.

                5:10 pm

Conveniently, the lighthouse is just a 20 minute walk from
my place. The sky was turning crimson as the sun prepared to rest when the moon
decided to drop by. I can't tell you how amazing it is to see the sun set and
the moon reveal itself simultaneously.

                8:45 pm

Fried flying fish, was my first Batanes dinner. The meat was
okay. Nothing fantastic.

                DAY 2
Exploring Batan Island

Batan, is Batanes' second largest island that serve as the
center of commerce and houses the seat of the provincial government. Travelers
can arrange tour rides that will explore Batan's municipalities which include
Basco, Ivana, Uyugan and Mahatao.

                10 am

The 'jeepney topload' is the best seat to take when viewing
Batan's landscape. The ride snakes through the island's rolling terrain. Above
me are spectacular mountain formations that resemble stoic hunched-back giants.
The white sand beach below me boasts pristine waters that splash against
massive rocks.

Occasionally the driver parks his vehicle and allows my
group to go down to absorb the scenery. There is nothing more lovely than
sitting at edge of a cliff to stare at the horizon. No skyscraper, no boats,
not a single living person litter my view, just clear blue skies. I pretend
this really is the edge of the world.

                12:30
pm - Honesty Store in the town of Ivana

Lunch takes place in an unmanned small canteen stocked with
goodies (mami, chips, sodas, biscuits). Owners put their faith in customers'
honesty...hence the store moniker.

                2:10 pm
- Marlboro Country

After a belly filling lunch I head Payaman town dubbed as
Marlboro Country. The tour guide boasts 'Makikita mo parang wala ka sa
Pilipinas'. The town does have a different feel to it. The pasture, from a far,
is a mixture of deep green and brown hues. The guide explained the brown color
is actually thin bamboo wood that cordons an Ivantan family's land from his
neighbor. This village is Batanes' version of Tagaytay Highlands but instead of
golf courses it is actually cattle pasture. Fantastic!

                DAY 3-
Sabtang Island

Sabtang is considered one of the 12 best destinations by the
Department of Tourism in 1994. Compared to Batan, the island is less affluent
but is more charming (in my opinion). Batan's modern influences has converted
its precious stone houses to concrete walls and thatched roofs. Meanwhile
Sabtang still has their cobble stoned streets and stone houses intact. Albeit
the Sabtang is also beginning to deteriorate as people there are starting to
modernize their houses. The danger of spoilage of Batanes is an issue the
government must pay attention but that's another article altogether.

Sabtang's landscape is also more breathtaking than Batan's.
Steep mountains, deep cannons and a seemingly endless strip of white beach is
amazing. Sheer limestone cliffs that plunge into cerulean waters below make it
so surreal. I was able to swim in Batanes waters!

P.S. Oh and by the way I saw an independent movie production
shooting a scene in the island (these guys did the indie film called Donsol). I
heard Angel Aquino was the star. Interesting...

                8 pm -
Dinner Time

A birthday party thrown by a fellow adventure seeker spiced
up the night. A belly popping feast includes fresh tuna sashimi, lobsters and
lechon. We washed it down with a Pinoy ubiquitous drink - Tanduay. Yum.

Other memorable dishes I had in Batanes were fresh blue
marlin tuna steak, green pepper filled lapu-lapu fillet, beef steak (lemme tell
you they have lots of cows here), cuttle fish and pizza. Yes pizza...there is a
pizza maker in Basco named Ivan, my favorite flavors are pepperoni, garlic and
cheese and anchovies pizza. You have to order in advance to be able to enjoy
its yumminess.

                DAY 4 -
Going Home

Flights from Batanes to Manila always take off at around 10
am. There was a certain melancholic feeling that washed over me as I left the
quaint island. Probably because I'll be going back to the circus I call my
life. I guess one thing I have in common with Batanes is that just like its
islands I always try to win over life's metaphoric raging waves.

                THE
CHECKLIST

                Batanes
will definitely see me again. There are also so many stuff I wasn't able to do.

                Here is
my list:

                1. Fly
to Itbaya which is Batanes third inhabited island. I was supposed to go but
unfortunately the only light aircraft that flies to the island was broken. For
those who wish to go to Batanes I suggest you go explore Itbaya first before
doing the other island as it is much harder to access.

                2.
Climb Mount Iraya

                3.
Visit Mavudis island which is the northernmost island of Batanes. Coconut crabs
litter the rich marine life filled island.

                4.
Explore Nakabuwang Cave in Sabtang and the Chawa cave which is said to be
enchanted. It has a natural salt bed and a mouth that opens to South China Sea.

There are numerous exotic and delicious dishes to be found
in the Philippines. The different islands and regions of the Philippines tend
to provide their own variations and twists to their food menus. However, there
are some great dishes that can be found throughout the Philippines on any given
menu.

                Adobo

                Adobo
is sometimes considered a Spanish cooking process, but Adobo can also refer to
a common dish in the Philippines that is cooked in the Adobo style. This is a
dish that is usually made with pork or chicken that is slowly cooked in soy
sauce, vinegar, garlic, bay leaf and black peppercorns.

                Lumpia

                Lumpia
are pastries that are very similar to what we know as spring rolls. The
pastries are filled with vegetables or meats and served with various sauces.

                Bistek

                Bistek
is a popular dish made with beef strips and onions braised in soy sauce.
Sometimes chunks of browned potatoes are added.

                Lechon

                Lechon
is a dish that is eaten at celebration or fiesta occasions. It is actually an
entire suckling pig that has been slowly roasted over a bed of charcoal. The
coals make the pig crispy and it is then served with a liver sauce with
vinegar, sugar and herbs.

Other Common Facets of Philippine Food

As with most Asian countries, rice is a staple food and is
served with most dishes. The rice is most often steamed and served during
meals. The leftover rice is then commonly used to make sinangag, which is what
we would know as fried rice.

Fruits are also commonly incorporated in Philippine cuisine.
Coconuts are a popular item to incorporate into meals. Both coconut meat and
milk are used extensively. Tomatoes and tomato sauce are also popular, as well
as bananas.

The meats that are used in the Philippines are very similar
to the meats that we see in the United States. Chicken, beef, pork and fish are
the staple meats, just like in the US.

The dishes described in this article are just a
few of the more common dishes that can be found in the Philippines. There are
so many other great exotic dishes that can be found there or studied for new
ideas to be brought back to your own kitchen. To get more information on dishes

Have you ever seen the video of a
Tagalog speaking American cooking "Adobong Manok"? It just shows that
Adobo has reached the other side of the world and is being enjoyed by
Foreigners also and has been making their own versions of it, that even food
spots abroad have concocted their own Adobo. I'm sure that people have already
tried phenomenal dish when they visited the Philippines. It's impossible to
miss it as you can find it in any restaurant around Manila. Adobo can now be
equated to both Philippine culture and the Filipinos in general.

Adobo can be categorized as a
stew, unlike other Adobo from other countries like Puerto Rico, which sees it
as a marinate for meats. Philippine Adobo is a dish that contains either
chicken or pork meat or even at times both, marinated, along with some
hard-boiled eggs, for long hours in vinegar, soy sauce and other spices such as
garlic, bay leaf and peppercorns. Cooked in oil and served piping hot with
steamed rice. The origin of the dish is still unknown but experts say it came
from the Malays' Ginataan, which is considered a distant relative of the Adobo.
Bathed in coconut milk, Ginataan has chicken and pork with vegetables in it and
topped with vinegar and garlic.

Years after that, the Spaniards
colonized the Philippines for 400 years and they have imparted to the Filipinos
the concept of Adobo, which is the sauce, marinade or seasoning used in cooking
a dish. With the prevalence of soy sauce brought by the Chinese traders during
that time, Filipinos have created such succulent dish. Others argue that Adobo
may have been derived from another Spanish dish-Adobado, which is cured pork
loin cooked in olive oil and vinegar. Adobo is so special during the Spanish
occupation that they only serve it when guests such as friars or high-ranking
government officials come to visit. Adobo can be prepared days before and even
with the lack of a cold storage, it can be preserved for latter consumption.

The variants of Adobo can be comparable to the
islands in the Philippines depending on the resources or produce that
particular area has. Adobo is not limited to a meal on a plate, nowadays Adobo
can be seen inside a sandwich bun or a filling inside a Siopao, they even sell
Adobo flavored chips and biscuits on the streets. No matter what, Adobo will
always be Adobo, an aroma that would tease your sense, a dish so irresistible
you definitely need to have a second bite and something we Filipinos can be
proud of.

Philippines - Discover the Beautiful Islands and Beaches of the Philippines

Recently, the Department of Labor
and Employment has released a list of jobs that will be in-demand for the next
ten years in the Philippines. The list was created based on findings of DOLE's
latest labor market study under its "Project Jobs Fit" program. The
list was released to the public on June 29 of this year. That was the day when
President Aquino announced Baldoz's appointment.

The program has pinpointed the
sectors that need more workforce in the next ten years. These sectors are:
agribusiness, cyberservices, health and wellness, hotel, restaurant and
tourism, mining, construction, banking and finance, manufacturing, ownership
dwellings and real estate, transport and logistics, wholesale and retail trade.
The research also identified the need to buttress the four emerging industries
expected to reinforce employment opportunities, namely creative industries,
diversified/strategic farming and fishing, power and utilities, and renewable
energy.

This program will help Filipino
students to choose the right course or major in college and would give them the
opportunity to land a job once they finished college. Aside from that, the case
for brain drain would be minimized. This has been one of the problems that the
Philippines is trying to resolve. Fresh college graduates would usually apply
for a job which is different from the curriculum that they took during their
college years. In essence, the college degree earned has somehow been put to
waste.

Experience nurses will be needed
in health and wellness sector. Animal husbandry graduates, agricultural
economists, aquaculturists, and coconut farmers are needed in the agribusiness
sector.

Call center agents are still
in-demand for the next ten years in cyber services sector. One advantage of
applying for a position in a call center is that a degree is not a requirement
to get a job in this type of industry. Most of the people I know who are now
occupying higher positions in a call center have not finished college.

The outsourcing industry would
still continue to bloom. Having said that, call center agent is not the only
position that will be in-demand in the cyber services sector. This will pave
way to other outsourcing industry such as SEO. In this age where the internet
is the most powerful tool that helps business to become successful; link
builders, webmasters, and other related online jobs will soon be one of the
sought after job in the Philippines. Aside from that, Philippines will also be
known as the perfect choice in finding a perfect SEO partner.

Filipino people would surely
benefit on the "Project Jobs Fit" program of the Department of Labour
and Employment. The program aims to help Filipino to choose the right
curriculum in college and apply what they have learned which will help boost
the Philippines economy.

Filipino people are expecting so
much from the current administration. The hope of having a decent life has been
elusive. To have a nice paying job is the only answer that could make life
easier for people who are below poverty level. Thus, choosing the right major
or course in college would result to a very promising career once you graduate.

If you are thinking of
outsourcing, the best country to outsource dedicated workers is from the
Philippines. Workers from the Philippines are dedicated, polite, and smart and
are good in written and oral English Language.

Travelers looking to rev up their
spiritual life need not go any farther than the Philippines, which is home to
some of the world's oldest and beautiful churches. The archipelago of 7,107
islands, which was under Spanish rule for more than 300 years, is the largest
Catholic country in Asia. Hundreds of churches have been constructed across the
nation since the Spaniards arrived in the Philippines in 1521. With its rich
religious heritage, the Philippines is cashing in on pilgrimage tourism to
boost its coffers.

Wise men in the travel industry
believe that tourism is not only centered on man-made and natural attractions
but also on meaningful rituals that are based on religious faith. Large
churches made from indigenous materials have placed the Philippines on the
tourism map. This makes the country a versatile player in the sector, as it has
a lot of attractions to offer from exquisite natural wonders to colorful events
and festivals. Since a whole day, maybe even a week or a month, is not enough
to visit all the historic and elegant churches in the country, the following
travel information might help in your ultimate spiritual trip to this
pre-dominantly Catholic nation.

                San Agustin Church

Have a trip down memory lanes by
visiting San Agustin Church in Manila. Constructed in 1607, this place of
worship is considered the oldest standing church in the Philippines. The
church, which is made from adobe stones, has withstood several world wars and
numerous earthquakes. A point of interest inside San Agustin Church is the
magnificent trompe l'oeil mural on its ceiling and walls.

                Paoay Church

One of the notable travel
destinations in northern Philippines is the Paoay Church in Ilocos Norte.
Completed in 1894, the church is an excellent example of Baroque architecture.
This UNESCO World Heritage Site has 24 massive curved buttresses designed to
withstand powerful earthquakes. Its bell tower was used by local militants as
an observation post in their revolt against Spanish colonizers.

                Barasoain Church

Barasoain Church in Malolos,
Bulacan, ranks among the most historic sites in the Philippines. Dubbed as the
"Cradle of Democracy in the East," this 17th century structure was
the site of the First Philippine Congress in September 29, 1898. Barasoain
Church was destroyed at the height of the Philippine Revolution but was
renovated several times to preserve its original structure.

                Basilica del Santo Niño

Another top pilgrimage
destination in the country is Basilica del Santo Niño. Located in the heart of
Cebu City; this 16th century church was erected on the same spot where Spanish
explorers purportedly found a sculpture of the child Jesus in 1565. A side trip
in this historic site is a visit to a museum showcasing the history of
Christianity in Cebu. The basilica remains under the Order of St. Augustine.

                Dauis Church

Aside from the world's famous
Chocolate Hills, tourists flock to Bohol to catch a glimpse of the Dauis
Church. Located on the island of Panglao, this place of prayer is also called
the Our Lady of Assumption Church. Catholic faithfuls believe that the well
located in front of the altar contains water that has medicinal powers.

                Quiapo Church

Another famous pilgrimage site in
the Philippines is the Quiapo Church in Manila. It is home to the Black
Nazarene, a life-sized, dark-colored sculpture of Jesus Christ bearing a cross.
Due to the growing number of devotees, Catholic leaders launched an expansion
project in 1984. Outside the church, you can find hordes of vendors selling
various goods from religious items to traditional medicines.

Because the Philippines is an
archipelagic country, its geographic resources mainly include beaches and
mountains. There are several ways to
book tours of these destinations but the easiest way is to get a tour guide and
tour program from several travel agencies.

Using the Internet, tourists can
simply search for Philippine travel agencies and the query will return several
available tourist packages in the Philippines.
Visitors can either decide to join a guided tour or hire a tourist guide
for their group alone. The tourist guide will be the one to arrange the
itinerary for them and make the necessary reservation fees, if applicable.

Among the great destinations in
the Philippines are Bohol, Puerto Galera and Cebu. In Bohol, visitors can have
a tour of the Chocolate Hills.
Alternatively, they go diving in a famous white beach resort. During the dive, they can also have the
privilege to earn their own professional diving licenses. Meanwhile, in Puerto Galera, they can enjoy
the same diving privileges plus the opportunity to watch dolphins and
whales. Cebu, on the other hand, had
been declared in 2002 as a ""tourism enterprise zone."" The different churches and establishments in
the said part of the country reflect much of its cultural heritage. The city is also home to a number of famous
Filipino food and delicacies such as dried mangoes and salted fish.

Before booking a Philippine tour,
visitors are first advised to canvass a number of available options. Some packages may be better than others and
may even offer additional services such as hotel lodgings. If time permits, it is best to make
reservations at least a week before. If
the visitors or tourists plan to stay in the country for a longer vacation, it
would be a good idea to consult an online travel agency, and purchase a
membership. Membership isn't free, but
it can be used to get discounts on different travel packages.

Yuppie Filipinos get the chance
to be employed easily once they obtained their bachelor or diploma degrees
because of the emergence of contact centers everywhere in the Philippines.
These workers started to fill the 24-hour skyscrapers that give a colorful
background to metro Manila's financial districts at nighttime.

This only shows that people
employed in this job for a couple of years were used to on their ticking
biological sleeping habit. They slept all day long just to regain their
strength and wake up again at the wee hours to prepare themselves for a
nightlong work. Clad in casual attire with matching fashionable coats are the
most common props if you are a customer service representative. During break
time some even used to occupy the al fresco various dining areas in Manila. In
Ortigas for instance, call center agents enjoy their 30-minute to 1 hour break
at McDonald's, Starbucks, among others. For those who have extra pennies, they
enjoy the hot aroma of Brazilian coffee in various blend. Others may sit on the
corner and lit up their cigarette in a way of releasing their stress from work.
It is enjoying isn't it?

At 8 pm. about 100 people, most
25 younger, sit in a room of enclosed cubicles outfitted with phones and
computers. They'll be working until 4 am. or depends on the schedule of their
shifts. As their shifts starts, it is usually morning in the US. These contact
centers are following US standard zones such as Pacific, Eastern, Mountain and
Central.

Meanwhile, 20-year-old Luisa Geneta
disclosed that call center is her first job when she finished her bachelor's
degree on May 4, 2007. At 12 am., Geneta left her house in Tondo, a suburb
village in Manila, as her shift starts at 2 am. This Banking and Finance
graduate from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) is one of the
top caliber representatives for Unique Interaction, an American call center
based in Ortigas.

"Working in a call center in
the Philippines is really a big challenge for me especially that I'm new to this
business. I spent most of my time and energy on this job," she said, who
handles an inbound account.

It is a very risky to leave my
house at midnight for a young lady like me. However, I consider that this is
the most rewarding career that we have nowadays and this will be a big help in
creating another means of livelihood for us Filipinos especially for fresh
graduates like me, she claimed.

On the other hand, Margaret
Estanislao, 19, a team leader of the same company, disclosed that placing the
agents into action challenge her in keeping her job.

Estanislao, who started as an
agent added that they tried everything in sorting out the problem of the
customers. "We need to maintain our empathy if the customer is upset. They
are pissed and upset not because of the representatives but to the products
itself".

Both Geneta and Estanislao agreed
that this job has given them the opportunity to enhance their skills and boost
their confidence when it comes of interaction with their clients in a
phone-to-phone conversation.

"Not to mention the
financial aid that it gives to me and my family. I think this industry will
continue to prosper in the succeeding years and it will continue to be one of
the leading providers of career opportunities for Filipinos," Geneta
further said.

It cannot be denied that
outsourcing business is one of the most flavored industries in the Philippines
and other Asian countries. It appears that contact center executives preferred
this country because of the number of students produced every year, which can
speak English in American way. As the third largest English-speaking country in
Asia no doubt that business process outsourcing is in demand today.

BPO companies provides a
state-of-the-art equipment in outsourcing their business in the United States,
United Kingdom and Australia. These companies trained their employees to speak
like American way. In Unique Interaction, they provide fundamental call center
training before the call center trainees will be allowed to take calls. The
trainees has to learn account information first. Once they know the account
then they are deployed ready on the floor and receive as many calls as they
want. The company also teach their employees on how to handle their customers
well. It is so hard to lose a customer, we know that they are considered as the
lifeblood that gives full stream of support to make the company up and running
and stay on the business for long.

The fact is call centers are part
of the Philippine economic activity. Almost half of the 86.2 million people in
the Philippines are younger than 20 years old. So don't be surprised if you
will be able to meet supervisors, team leaders, managers below 25. This is
because that call center has the fastest way of promoting a career development.
If the agent is performing better and receiving good CSAT ratings then no doubt
that within six months or less than, this certain employee is entitled to move
to another level in his or her career path. The Philippines is also one of the
potential factors for outsourcing. It has been also forecast by the XMG Inc.,
Manila-based research and advisory firm that the nation will surpass India by
2008 as home to the world's largest call center companies.

The Philippines offers attractive
environment for the BPO companies, which is one of the key requirements by the
Philippine Economic Zone Authority (Peza) in applying for this business. Even
now big contact center firms also expanded their centers not only in Manila but
targeting the provincial levels. So it means, the revenues will not only take
place within the National Capital Region (NCR) but it will also circulate to
the provincial areas after passing the standard set by the Peza. Largest call
centers are also found operating in Pampanga, Laguna and Baguio in Luzon;
Bacolod, Cebu, Dumaguete and Iloilo in the Visayas; and Cagayan de Oro and
Davao in Mindanao.

The Philippine Government is very supportive to this. Under
the administration of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, she said that BPO
companies will generate billions of pesos in the country with target by 2010.
When it starts to operate in 2000, now off-shore call center industry estimates
to employs 60,000 people.

Call Center Industry In The Philippines

Made up of more than 7,000
islands, you would be amazed by the different languages Philippine archipelago
embodies. Who would think that the Philippines is the home of the best English
speaking custom care agents most ideal for business process outsourcing?

Aside from the fact that
Philippines offers lower operational and labor costs, we supply various call
centers with agents proficient and competent in the English language. In fact,
we also offer agents that are bilingual and multilingual that can handle just
about anything from sales, investor relations, customer care, crisis
management, and marketing. Customer care agents generally speak English and
Spanish. Other languages include Japanese, Chinese and Arabic. These makes
agents in the Philippines flexible and reliable when it comes to the matters of
call centers.

Statistics will show that as of
2004, Philippines has attracted 20 percent of the total world market share in
call center services. It is further forecasted that if things go the way it has
been presently going, Philippines could capture almost 50 or 60 percent of the
overall English speaking market by the year 2008. Philippines is also one of
the top BPO destinations worldwide according to a survey conducted in 2005.
Indeed, Philippines is the way to go if you are very serious about expanding
your outsourcing business.

Call centers are a very lucrative
source of income in the Philippines, contributing at least 12% to the Gross
National Product. It also seems that call center jobs are the number option for
fresh college graduates. It is estimated also that by 2010 call centers in the
Philippines will generate USD 13 billion giving jobs to at least one million or
more Filipinos.

In the limelight of the call
center industry, the Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo incorporated
in her 2006 State of the Nation Address a plan for interconnecting all call
centers across the country. The Philippine Cyberservices Corridor is a vision
and plan outlined in her ten point agenda which at the same time comprises the
five "super regions". Services include business process outsourcing,
medical transcriptionist and other related jobs.

So, where would these be located?
Well, according to the outlined plan, the corridor will expand 600 miles starting

The "Panagbenga" or Flower festival or the Flower Festival inBaguio City is one of the Philippines much-awaited
celebrations. This is among the national festivals that are a crowd drawer.
Every year the "Panagbenga" does not disappoint, organizers have made
it to a point that the annual festival will be better than the previous one.
Incorporating new and creative twists to the traditional events during the "Panagbenga" is what makes it
better than last year. The organizers and the community in general never seem
to fail. For the "Panagbenga" 2012 the organizers have maximized the
talents of the entire community in organizing and celebrating the Flower
Festival 2012. With this much excitement and the promise of new and innovative
activities tourists, visitors and residents of Baguio City alike are sure in
for a treat this 2012.

For tourists or visitors who will
be celebrating the Flower festival for the first time here are some things that
you can do during the festival.

Walk around the Landscapes - every year the organizers of the
Baguio Flower Festival holds a landscaping contest, different landscapers from
Baguio City and other parts of the Philippines are always participating in this
annual contest during the flower festival and such landscapes will be
developed in a particular part of
Burnham Park for the public to see. You can walk around the landscape area and
take photos, see the different carpet of flowers and a variety of artificial
fountains.

Eat - Baguio city is fusion of culture from the different parts of
the Philippines and it is during the "Panagbenga" Festival,
particularly during the Session Road in Bloom where many restaurant and
eateries in Baguio City showcases their various recipes. You can walk up and
down Session road and try the different food that they offer. From the simple
sweet corn to the delicious roasted cow and the sumptuous traditional chicken
broth.

Attend the Grand Parades - considered as the crowd drawers of the
"Panagbenga" Festival the Grand Street Parade and the Grand Float
Parade are being witnessed by a lot of spectators. This is because of the Grand
Float and Street Parades showcases the best of Baguio City and the rest of the
Philippines, the Grand Street Parade is focusing on the different dances
choreographed to the tune of the all familiar "Panagbenga" Hymn,
colourful costumes worn by the dancers to emulate the colors of the flowers.
The Grand Float Parade on the other hand is similar to the float parades during
the Tournament of Roses in California USA. Floats are designed with different
flowers resembling either a fantasy garden or any concept that every
participants creative mind can think of. For 2011 a float that involves
animatronics, so expect it better for "Panagbenga" 2012.

Witness the Grand Fireworks Display - To culminate the month-long
celebration of the Flower Festival a grand fireworks display is surely held.
The fireworks display is usually done in three different locations in the City
of Baguio, the fireworks though in different locations could be seen in one
vantage point, so pick a good spot and witness a symphony of fireworks display.

The Panagbenga Festival is always
being held during the month of February. Panagbenga 2012 is scheduled for the
coming year in Baguio City.

Apart from being a growing
attraction for overseas tourists Baguio City, in the Philippines is a big
favourite amongst the Filipino people for holidays and for its great local
products. Smack bang in the middle of a rain forest, the city is 1500 metres
above sea level with a cooler climate than the rest of the Philippines.
However, that cooler temperature is still on average much higher than for
instance the UK!

Whenever people visit the City of
Pines, the one thing that they never forget to take back home is the local
products of the city. These include vegetables, jams, choco flakes and peanut
brittles. Vegetables are among the products which are the most popular in the
city of Baguio. This is because a myriad of plants and fresh vegetables such as
cabbages easily grow in the mild climate here.

Even with such an abundance,
people tend to "hoard" vegetables to take back home. It is
significant that vegetables and how they are grown in the area leans towards
going organic. Baguio City's organic vegetables are becoming more and more
popular each day because they are safer, healthier and they taste better than
chemically grown produce. Restaurants that serve organic vegetables are
becoming more and more popular. Now, vegetables in Baguio are not just fresh,
they are organic as well.

Some of the other products that
the city is proud of are the popular food items that can be found on sale in
the market. These include peanut brittles, Chocó flakes, lengua and even
strawberry and ube jams. These products are what people usually buy to take
home to their friends and relatives. They are easily affordable - ranging from
50 pesos to 200 pesos. When you purchase these products you can't go wrong with
the satisfaction and the taste of these unique food items.

Flowers are what Baguio takes
great pride in. Since the launch of the Panagbenga or the Baguio Flower
Festival in 1996, the people's interest in the city’s flowers has grown. The
yearly festival lasts throughout the month of February. During that time there are
floral float parades, dancing and music including rock and pop festivals. If
you are looking for somewhere special to take your partner on Valentine’s Day
this city is perfect!

Many different types of flowers
can be found in the market of Baguio City and each day, they are delivered
fresh from the flower farms. Just some of the species that can be be seen while
walking along the flower section of the public market are: various varieties of
roses, sunflowers, hydrangea, bromeliad, marigolds, impatiens, Christmas cactus
and poinsettias. Even rare plants flourish because of the mild climate and the
best part is that these gorgeous plants and flowers are very affordable
compared to other places. Indeed Baguio's flower industry blooms each and every
day and the name 'flower capital of the Philippines' is well deserved.

Baguio is an unforgettable experience
for anybody visiting the Philippines. With trips to the right places and the
right information a visit here is definitely worthwhile. While in Baguio, you
should never forget to drop by the marketplace to enjoy the products the city
offers to make the trip complete. Baguio City: the City of Pines and the Summer
Capital of the Philippines, a place of solitude, leisure, recreation and of
course products worth bringing home as a remembrance of a wonderful experience.

Imagine 7,107 islands, 17 regions
and 94 million in population. That's Philippines. A country that is rich in
cultural influences, domestic and foreign. With 3.5 million tourists last year,
then Filipinos must be doing something right for them to keep visiting time and
time again. The numbers are going up and even exceeded the expected arrival of
visitors.

                What is a Philippine experience?

An experience means nothing
without tasting food. Filipinos love to cook and eat. Hence, great dishes are
created in each region of the country. Let's see the list of most popular
dishes and desserts.

Ilocos' pinakbet is the best.
It's a tasty dish of various vegetables such as eggplant, squash, bittermelon,
okra and tomatoes. Actually, any vegetabes that you prefer can be made as
pinakbet. A more traditional way of cooking is by using clay pot and take note,
they don't stir it with ladle. They just keep on tossing and moving the pot in
a circular way till it cooks. As opposed to pinakbet which is a vegetarian dish,
they have bagnet and longganisa (native sausages). You've got to watch out for
your blood pressure because these foods are high in cholesterol.

Kare-Kare (stewed oxtail in peanut sauce), stuff chicken rolls and pot
roast are the specialties of those from Bulacan. Near Bulacan, have a
stopover at Pampanga to taste their Halo-Halo special. It's a mixture of shaved
ice with milk, sweetened banana, mongo, leche flan, purple yam, beans, tapioca,
jackfruit, crushed young rice, nata de coco and ice cream. Mouthwatering isn't
it?

Fancy some dinuguan or pork blood stew from Batangas? Dinuguan is a very
savory dish combining vinegar with the blood and innards of pig. Rich, spicy
and dark soup blended into one. It is best eaten with rice cake.

Bicol region brags their laing (taro leaves) and bicol express
(pork meat). Both dishes are cooked in coconut cream and lots of Asian's bird
eye chillies. Wash those chillies away with something sweet like their pili nut
candies. Outside, it's crunchy but it is soft inside. It is truly a combination
of textures in your mouth.

That's just some of Filipinos
best foods. Now, let's take a peek in Philippine cultures. Celebrating
festivals or fiesta is one way of seeing culture in action. Like food, regional
celebrations are part of the country's enigmatic influence to every person from
all walks of life. Here are a rundown of festivals every month of the year.

January - Ati-atihan

With its 7,107 islands, the
Philippines boasts of some of the world's best tourist destinations. This
Southeast Asian nation remains one of the frontier travel havens in the world
even if sometimes overlooked by int'l visitors because of some security
reasons. Home to some 92 million people, the Philippines is surely one of the
top notch destinations worth traveling to.

Traveling in the Philippines is
not (as) tricky as some people may think. Due to its modernized
telecommunication systems and public infrastructure, going from one scenic spot
to another is as easy as 123. To make the trip more memorable and enjoyable,
here are some tips to follow while vacationing in the Philippines.

                Be Prepared

Proper planning is a must. Since
you can visit the country any time of the year, look for travel agencies and
luxury resorts that offer great and affordable vacation packages all-year
round. Remember that without careful planning, your trip to the Philippines may
end on a sour note.

                Check the Weather

Note that the country can be
prone to earthquakes and typhoons since it is situated in the so-called Pacific
Ring of Fire. So the best times to visit the Philippines would be from Dec to
May. The weather on these months is the most conducive for traveling. Plus,
summer time is the perfect time to enjoy the nation's finest beaches in
Boracay, Batangas, and Palawan. Not to mention the colorful festivals in Aklan,
Cebu, and Iloilo.

                Travel Light

It is always best to travel
light. Bring a pair of sturdy shoes and slippers, especially when trekking some
of the breathtaking mountains in the Philippines such as Mount Apo in Davao and
Mount Pulag in Cordillera. Most tourist spots in the country are very much
accessible by public transport vehicles such as buses, jeeps, and tricycles.

                Secure Your Valuables

Never leave your valuables -
money, passport, license, jewelries- unattended. Always keep them in a safe
place. Or better yet, have these valuables with you at all times in your
backpack or small handbag.

                Enjoy

When in the Philippines, leave
your worries behind; enjoy its rich natural resources and make friends with the
accommodating local folks. Also, don't miss out on the country's delicious
delicacies - from simple rice cakes to exotic dishes. Lastly, do not forget to
bring home trinkets or souvenirs from local shops and shopping centers located
across the nation.

Hopefully, the Philippines travel
tips will make your vacation in the country a safe and memorable one.

Getting a head start with regards
to career in the Philippines is quite tough. Because of this, there are still
many people who are unemployed in the country. If you are not picky and are
just in search of experience or a stable source of income, this list might be
able to help you. In fact, these jobs are actually those which have helped the
employment rate of the Philippines rise up amidst of the economical crisis in
the world.

Call Center Agent - Little by
little, the Philippines is nearing India in the race against becoming the no. 1
BPO country in the world. If you look at Metro Manila, you will see numerous
call centers and many of them are hiring. The great thing about being a call
center agent is that you do not have to have a degree. You just need to be
proficient in the English language and some marketing skills. The only downside
here is that it may not really coincide with what you have taken in college.

are the English Instructors, both in the classroom and online. The Philippines
pride itself as a country with a high literacy and English proficiency rate.
Because of this, many foreigners come to the country to study the language. At
the same time, English teachers are needed to help Filipino children learn it,
since English is a widely used medium in the Philippines, aside from its
primary language.

With its large-scale
accessibility and availability of talent and skills, the Philippines is
regarded as one of the top outsourcing destinations, not only in Asia but also
around the world. No wonder, the Philippines' outsourcing industry is taking flight
in recent years due to its abundance of low-cost yet highly skilled workforce.
Today, the country is in stiff competition with other top outsourcing
destinations.

Although many businesses see
India as the evident choice and foremost outsourcing destination, the nation's
rapidly increasing wages and salaries may cause most companies to pull out and
seek to outsource to the Philippines instead. Accordingly, the Philippines
steadily rises to the top of the list of the largest outsourcing destinations in
the world. In addition, it has also become a viable option for medium-sized
companies.

Aside from its low-cost
workforce, a lot of businesses pick the Philippines as their favorite
outsourcing destination for software and web development. The country's human
resources include a pool of trainable and highly-skilled managers and IT
professionals. Moreover, the Philippines also boast of its well-educated and
good English-speaking web writers, and highly-skilled programmers and SEO
specialists.

In fact, U.S.-based Meta Group
conducted a survey, which ranked the Philippines as the global leader in terms
of availability of knowledge-based jobs.

Language and culture will not be
a problem for companies based in the U.S. and Europe if they opt to outsource
their jobs in the Philippines since most Filipino professionals have good
English communication skills. In addition, these Filipino professionals are
very much familiar with Western lifestyle, and are conversant with the trends,
behavior and style of their American and European counterparts.

In view of its economical yet
high-quality workforce, the Philippines have become a fast-emerging giant in
the global outsourcing industry.

Despite the fact that the
Philippines were once the wealthiest country in Asia, after Japan, it has
slowly become one of the poorest in the region since it gained independence in
1946. The economy further declined in the early 1980s on account of the reduced
demand for Philippine products, the United States' pullout, and an increased
rate of corruption. A projected 10% of the GNP was lost to corruption and
capitalism during this period. The economic recovery since then has been
noteworthy but slow in comparison to other East Asian nations. According to the
GDP per capita, the Philippines at present ranks 118th out of 178 states.

The financial system of the
Philippines particularly had trouble during the Asian monetary emergency of
1998. Increasing prices, inflation, and poor weather aggravated these poor
economic conditions. Economic development fell from 5% in 1997 to 0.6% in 1998;
however, it improved to about 3% in 1999 and 4% in 2000, and by 2004 it rose to
above 6% per year. Budgetary provisions for servicing debt in the Philippines
were higher than the budget for education and defence together.

Income disparity also remains a
grave problem in the country. The Philippines continues to be a largely
agricultural country; however, light industry and services have made noteworthy
contributions. In the past few years, there have been noticeable developments
in the Philippines as the number of business process outsourcing (BPO)
industries has increased. With the introduction of the BPO industries, there
have been considerable boosts in the rate of employment. This has given rise to
various job opportunities for the Filipinos. There are approximately 500
companies in the Philippines that have improved the quality of service by
providing jobs. The Philippines is among the many countries that house the
leading BPO industries.

The Philippines is among the
countries associated with the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, and the
Asian Development Bank. In the year 2005, the peso was known as Asia's best
performing currency.

Simple and peaceful. That's how
the provincial government describes what life in Capiz is all about on its
website. For travelers looking for a place to relax and unwind, this province
in the Western Visayas region is a must-go destination.

Covering an area of 2,594.64
square kilometers, Capiz is subdivided into 16 municipalities and a city -
Roxas. The province continues to be one of the major travel destinations in
southern Philippines, thanks to its natural charm highlighted by a labyrinth of
rolling hills, pristine beaches, unspoiled beaches, and isolated coves.

Capiz is also a magnet for
seafood lovers. Dubbed as the "Seafood Capital of the Philippines,"
the province provides guests with a wide selection of dishes made from its rich
marine resources. Delectable delicacies are available everywhere from a simple
restaurant to posh hotels and resorts.

With all these amazing
attractions in the province, it is no wonder, then, that Capiz is among the
recommended tourist stops in most Philippine travel guides. The following is a
sampling of the scenic spots to visit in the province.

Agtalin Shrine

  Agtalin Shrine

Get amazed by a gigantic statue
of the Virgin Mary at the Agtalin Shrine. Located in the municipality of Pilar,
the religious icon is considered the tallest in the country at 80 feet tall.
The International Marian Research Institute listed the Agtalin Shrine as a
premier pilgrimage site. It is believed that some faithful with incurable
diseases were healed by praying at the shrine.

Baybay Beach

Baybay Beach is Capiz's version
of elegant Boracay beaches. This gray-sand beach is a favorite weekend getaway
of local residents and tourists alike in the province. Aside for being a
popular swimming site, Baybay Beach is also a haven for food lovers. Various
stalls selling unbelievably cheap grilled fish, squids, prawns, and other
marine produce can be found near the beach.

Pilar Cave

  Pilar Cave

Another must-see attraction in
Capiz is Pilar Cave. This natural wonder is believed to be a burial site of
local folks before the Spaniards conquered the Philippines in 1521. Ancient
pots and other artifacts have been discovered in the cave. Capiz has four more
popular caves such as the Suhoton Caves in Jamindan, Quipot Cave in Mambusao,
Igang Cave in Maayon, and Suhot Cave in Dumalag.

Tucad Reef

Tucad Reef is a submarine islet
of seashells and corals topped with layers of sand. Located some ten kilometers
away from Pilar, this natural marvel can be reached through a pump boat ride or
by walking during low tide. From its shallow and clear water, visitors can see
a patchwork of shells and corals in various colors such as blue, green, red,
and pink.

Aswang Festival

Capiz is known for the myth of
aswang, a Filipino term for ghouls, monsters, and witches. Held days before the
Halloween, the controversial but culturally important event seeks to change the
public's negative notion towards the province as an aswang haven. Trade
exhibits, cultural shows, and symposiums are staged during the festival.

A great way to conclude your
Capiz vacation is to shop for various products such as lampshades, candle
holders, necklaces, and wind chimes, made from Capiz shells. Already captivated
