With the school year rapidly approaching its end I thought this post may be something to start thinking about for next year

There’s no way of getting around it - children are expensive! What are the benefits of computer rental?

When you rent a computer, the monthly payments are easier to take on than the significant outright cost of computer equipment. And in an age when computer and laptop technology is constantly evolving and changing, your child won’t be tied to an outdated computer model. Rather, they can constantly update their computer or laptop model throughout their schooling years.

Can I just tell you I am so over the whole debate that's going around the blogverse about how we should all be charging a fee for reviews , and I'm sick of hearing you should because it won't feed your kids or your worth more than that ,well i would like to say FUCK ! STOP ! what if Some people enjoy doing it for free ?I know I do ,what if i dint need it to feed my children ? Well I don't because I'm lucky and my husband provides for all of us .

A few weeks ago I accepted a review plus a giveaway and I started to feel all self conscious almost like i was uncomfortable in my own home because I chose to do it for free, and then I remembered, My blog My rules and so I will do it as will I do anything else I chose and it will be with pride because I have realized I don't need to make anyone else happy nor do I care if I'm not very well liked for my decision , don't get me wrong sometimes I get paid fir things and sometimes I don't but ultimately thats my choice and no one else's to be forced upon me !

It's like anything in life some people are tall and some are short ,some are fat and some are thin ,some wear glasses while others don't .my point is everyone is different if we were all the same the world would be a very a very boring crappy place , some people need that extra income and I respect that and if you are getting paid for what you do then great more power to ya , but for the little blogs like me who enjoys what I do and how I do it please Don't push your opinions on me as I do not care .

On Wednesday we decided we would take the kids to Symbio the local wildlife park its only about a 20 -30 minute drive from where we live ,so I off we went ,they certainly do not miss you with entry fees it seems to be about 30 dollars dearer than the last time we went 2 years ago I'm assuming the price increase is to cover the cost of the two new tigers we didn't get to see because they were sleeping in the back corner behind some shrubs .Anyone that's ever been Symbio before knows this is generally only ever a two hour exercise even if you do walk really slow and stop to pat or feed every animal you come across ,so by the time we had made our way around the entire park and taking a few photos it was smack bang on lunch time and instead of buying over priced hot chips from the kiosk like every other family in the park the lovely husband had the awesome idea of shooting on over to Robertson pie shop for some lunch.....umm yeah now anyone that is a local around these parts will know that Symbio and the pie shop are not that close let me show you on the map the route we took

.........off we went in the car to "shoot on over to the pie shop" half an hour later the I'm hungry cries start coming from the back seat"yeah yeah " Ben says not long now me"mm hmm" an hour later we are in the middle of nothing fucking much and now instead of hunger cries all you can hear is a snoring Charlotte and huffs of annoyance from middle child Blake and so he huffed every 5 minutes for the next 40 minutes finally we hit Mittagong and cruised passed a McDonald's and i waited for it ...nope no one said a word but the Huffs got louder then on our way out of Bowral we hit some traffic and were at a bit of a stand still this is when all hell breaks lose and someone yells we passed a McDonald's back there cant we go back were hungry and then another yells who cares about the the pie shop i just need to eat and then the back seat arguments start ...he's touching me.... she kicked me ......her head is in my way ,to which i turn around to find Charlotte practically falling out of her seat just to lean in front of Blake just to piss him off or in her words because she is more comfortable like that....yeah right! It was about that point that i looked at Ben and said ....oh yes lets shoot on over to the pie shop he says ,you better bloody be buying them all an ice cream or something after lunch .
I have tried to explain to him many times before that when kids don't eat they start to resemble wild animals ,its not called feeding time at the zoo for nothing right? he has a knack of waiting till its almost lunch time and saying right lets all go to the shops or lets all go to bunnings then wonders why they start going all WWF smack down when we get there.

Ever feel like the whole universe is against you ? For the last week now my husband and I have been trying to squeeze in a little special adult time if you catch my drift ? Lately it seems like the kids have a sex radar and they are all like "mum and dad want to do it so let's just stay awake all night in our tiny fucking house" and then they must send out vibes to the youngest who is already soundly sleeping to say "hey were getting tired it's time for shift wake up and hop into the middle of the bed with them" .........seriously I kid you not its 12:17am and I am writing this post from my iPhone as I sit on the floor in the youngest's room trying to get her to go back to sleep and stay in her own bed and I can hear that both my boys are still awake , this makes me want to scream "GO THE FUCK TO SLEEP ! can someone please tell me when us this madness going to end ? Does it end ? Please tell me it does because I don't think I can go another week like this !

Please tell me I'm not alone here ?

We have just started renovating? ,no I don't think that's the right word or is it redoing ? anyway recently we put in a pool so at the moment there is dirt bricks tree roots and rocks everywhere and our backyard kind of resembles a dump so we have started to pretty it up and I have been looking at all things garden and outdoorsie on pinterest .

I would love a deck like this coming off the back of my house .

This would be perfect for sitting and watching the kids swim on those hot summer days

And this screen would be perfect around the pool so the neighbours cant watch us while we swim.

Remember last week when you were loading up the car with stuff to take to the salvos and you picked up a bag that had a small black stereo in it
and you said" do you want this?" and i said" no but just check in the bag to make sure that there was nothing else in there that wasn't supposed to be".... ?.......
well clearly you did not check or should i say you must have had a mans look i should have listened to my Nan when she used to tell me that Men couldn't see past their own nose because boy was she right ,
you see had you checked that bag you would have seen that the remotes for the set top box and the TV that belongs in our bedroom were in that fucking bag!
now I'm not sure if you are aware of this but if you have to get up out of bed to change the channel then it kinda defeats the whole purpose of watching TV in bed and it also means that i cant set the frigging sleep timer to turn the TV off when i am asleep because i don't have a bloody remote!
So i guess we are going shopping next week for a new TV ?

I saw this today on Tina's blog so I thought I would play along

Things I know .......

When you call Telstra to get a connection in your house moved not only will you not be able to understand half the stuff they are saying but they will also screw up the work order
The speed of your internet doesn't mean shit if your connection isn't wired properly
When the Gas plumber tells you in march that your hot water system is on its last legs don't wait till august before you do anything about it.
It is not at all pleasant to wash your hair in cold water in winter when you hot water system packs it in half way through your shower .
The bathroom will not clean itself while you blog........but I still hold out hope.
Don't bother getting quotes for someone to come and dig a hole for an above ground pool because it will cost just as much as the pool.

Thank god it is Friday and im off out tonight have a great weekend all :)

Dear Salvos lady sitting out side Woolworth's liquor this morning.............i hope you put that $1 to good use that i put in your bucket today because it will be the last fucking dollar you ever get out of me ,as i walked past you on my out ,you smiled at Charlotte sweetly while you knitted away with your children's stickers strategically placed on your little table in full sight of all the children passing by ......... As i passed you by i stopped and thought oh i should give Charlotte some money to go back and put in your bucket , and as she stood there dropping a dollar in you smiled at her again and said "Thank you " and as she stood there a bit longer with a smile on her face waiting patiently for one of those many stickers on your table you looked at her again and said"bye"..........it was at that point i looked at you and said "don't worry Charlotte mummy will buy you a whole packet of stickers......and they will be better than any of the ones on this mother fucking table!

Im to much of a princess to pack my own groceries...

This is not a paid post all opinions are my own and this post is based on my local stores,however that being said if Woolworth's would like to throw a little something something my way i wouldn't say no.

I have nothing against people that shop at Aldi i have many friends that do i personally do not... i love to shop at woolies i can get everything i need ,if i shop at Aldi there are many things we need that they don't have and lets face it... I'm far to busy to shop twice in one day and frankly who could be bothered.... i mean come on we all know if you cant get it while your there your chances of going back out later to get it are probably slim to none and you find all sorts of ways to live without said items for at least the next four days .

Then there is the whole you will save money thing which i must argue with yes at Aldi you can get a packet of pasta for arguments sake lets just say 70c but you can at woolies to its called home brand also if you are shopping in both places what ever money you do save will be going towards your petrol to drive to the next supermarket unless your woolies and aldi store are right next door to each other .

I also have an issue with rude over paid chick that SITS on her ass at aldi and flings my mother fucking groceries through that check out like she is competing in the national check out chick Olympics then proceeds to shake her head at me like I'm a complete fuck wit because i couldn't get them in my trolley quick enough ,at least at my woolies i get a pleasant "hello how are you today" even if she does sometimes pack my bread with the tins of cat food or a bottle of juice but hey at least she packs them for me and she has to stand while she does it.

I guess my point is i have done the Aldi the shop many times before and i didn't notice any improvement in our savings what so ever i HATE packing my own groceries and if i really have to do the grocery shopping it may as well be pleasant ...well as pleasant as grocery shopping can be .

The week that wasnt

I have to say over all this week has been pretty shit! it all started off smoothly on Monday with all 3 kids at school and me having some long awaited silence there was even a lunch date set for Thursday with some girlfriends that i was so looking forward to but all that quickly ~~turned to shit~~ went down hill when Blake started complaining of stomach cramps before he went to bed i was then woken early the next morning to a vomiting child who didn't stop till Thursday needless to say i missed my lunch date with my girlfriends .

Friday saw us at Dylan's high school for parent teacher interviews which can i just say although the interviews went very well and we seem to have one of the most polite young men in the class who should according to one teacher and i quote... "wear his nerd status with pride".......yeah I'm guessing that's not what you want to hear when your a 13 year old boy ,
it was ~~fucking bizarre~~ a slightly strange feeling to be back at the same high school we both went to and with some of the same teachers .

yeah that's all I've got... nothing reverting happening here... its school holidays now so hopefully we will be able to get out of the house on a few day trips we have planned oh and Tuesday night I'm going to a VIP night at my hairdressers pretty excited about that for some reason not sure why....maybe its the champagne and canapes ?

OMG! .....I am on a Mary Poppins high!.....Mary Poppins was my Favourite movie as a child so i was extremely excited when i was invited to go and see last nights performance of Mary Poppins The Musical at the Capitol Theater ...... my mum and i drove nearly 2 hours from wollongong to the center of Sydney Ok I have to admit something here this was the first time i have done the drive as myself being the driver and i thought i friggin rocked as i pulled into the parking station ....until we walked out onto the street that is and then i realised i had NFI where i was going next so after about 5 minutes of my mum becoming slightly stressed as to where we were going we decided to ask the parking ranger that was near by she then informed us that we were a 20 to 30 minute walk away from where we should be .....F@#%!!.....anyway obviously we made it to where we should of been or else i wouldn't have started the post with saying i was on a Mary Poppins high now would i ?!

Anyway enough about the journey lets talk about the show What more could i say than IT FRIGGIN ROCKED!!! I felt like a little kid again i smiled the whole way through it truly was a magical show Everything from the cast to the music ,the sets,the choreography and the costumes were all spectacular ,I could hear my mum humming away next to me and trying to stop herself from singing i even caught her whipping away her tears during Debra Byrnes Beautiful rendition of Feed the birds ,Mum tells me that it gets her every time and it her favourite song in the movie .

After the show we were lucky enough to go to the peacock room to have drinks with the cast where i met Matt Lee who plays Bert and Verity Hunt-Ballard who is of course Mary Poppins

I also got to meet Christopher Rickerby who plays Robertson Ay , I made sure i got Matt ,Verity & Christopher to sign my Mary Poppins Poster that i received in my swag bag before i left .......i wish i could have stayed longer but all good things must come to an end .
