Anberlin Live Performance in Manila, Philippines & Our Short Trip in Manila

http://www.youtube.com/user/bramcasuncionOne of my Christmas wish list 2011 was granted. Last March 9, 2010 together with my college friends Jon, Wyben, Grace with my brother Brian, went to Manila to watch Anberlin for the first time to perform with the Pinoy audience.

But before that, we visited some familiar place around Manila. First stop, Luneta Park.

Second stop to Manila Ocean Park.

After the whole day trip the group head to a Travelers Inn and freshen up and get ready to the concert. Here's the complete set of the songs they've performed. We don't have good photos taken of them during their performance 'cause the event organizers do not allow DSLR cameras.

They've ended the night with their song from Dark is the Way, Light is a Place Album title Take Me (As You Found Me) with confetti. Memorable night for me 'cause I've been listening to them since first year college, and I'm glad that my friends enjoyed it too so with my brother.

A Vacation to Urdaneta City, Pangasinan (Videos Inside)

A prosperous New Year to all bloggers and readers and to everyone. My first post for 2011. Last December 31, 2010 - I went back home and during those time with my family, I took some videos of my travel, church service, practice, roads, bridges and others. All video clips are edited in fast forward motion.

December 25, 2010 - Photos are taken using my Fisheye no. 2 Lomo camera, a day before Christmas together with Kathy and her family at Cebu City. Used a fresh Kodak Gold 100 iso film.

Fisheye No. 2 - Lomography (Photos)

The first time I look at lomography, it just took me away, and keep coming back to the site. Waited for the right time, and bought my first ever camera, a Christmas gift for my self. I love art and this will be my medium to produce something out of blank. Check out the Fisheye No. 2 in my Christmas Wish List.

Christmas Update and Some Treats

Last Saturday, my Fisheye camera just landed in time and is excited for the holidays. It's my first ever own camera, I really miss the old days when my parents shoot us using film cameras.

Now, I'm the one shooting people, animals, buildings etc. Sunday night, together with my friends test the fisheye camera (will post the sample pictures soon). Below is the shiny fishy fish.

Also, Kathy's iPhone4 came in time—her gift to herself. Wish the 5MP camera were in iPod Touch too. I'm a bit jealous.

Lastly, bought a wide jelly lens for my iPod at CD-R King for Php80 a cheap lens to get more wide results. Check out the sample pictures below.

Have yourself a Merry little Christmas, and remember that Jesus birth is the reason for the celebration of this season.

My 2010 Christmas Wishlist

December, a time when we all enjoy being kids again though we're old. We participate in exchanging gifts or giving of gifts to our family, friends and people we don't know. Because of Jesus birth we all enjoy the fellowship, food, blessings together with our family and friends.

For this reason, just want to post a list of what I had in mind. Also, my first time posting about this subject. The list are, a fisheye no. 2, ringflash, (will be used in capturing moments and God's creation) plane ticket going to Anberlin's Concert, MXR Smartgate, and lastly, Gig fx Mega Wah (additional gears to be placed in my Pedal board to simply glorify our Creator.)

The day that Ryan lost his phone (Hiking to Cantipla, Cebu)

Trip to Cantipla - Monday morning Nov. 29, 2010 received a call from Ryan to bring some things for a skinny dipping in a falls but it turned out to be a hiking session. JB, Ian and I didn't expect it, we walked 10km from Balamban Arch to Cantipla and another 5-8 km to Apple's family farm.

Sunday Night, I went to Ouano's residence to hang out and teach Jon some beat for their Christmas party. The FriendlyFire Crew came and had a dinner at Cheaverz Grill in Banilad Cebu. Credits to Chris for treating us a heavy dinner, we tried their Ngohiong which is hot, Pork Belly yumyum, and lastly Sisig. Forgot to take photos of the food because we're so hungry.

I'm not a Harry Potter fan but I'm impressed how Radcliffe grow and make it in every HP's movie. Yesterday, yahoo.com published an interview with Daniel Radcliffe.

Is it really over?

"J. K. Rowling pretty much promised me that she wasn't going to write any more Harry Potter books. But, subsequently, I've heard she's been quoted as saying she hasn't ruled it out. So I think the two of us have to have a very interesting conversation at some point in the near future."

A Birthday Celebration

Last November 15, 2010 (Sunday) FriendlyFire crew celebrated Jon's birthday at Shakey's Pizza Ayala--all time favorite barkada trip. Also, we check out Ian's new DSLR camera a Canon 550D and took pictures of the celebration. *Photos below are not 550D sample.

On the other news, the Philippines and Filipinos all over the world celebrated for another feat of Manny Pacquiao and making another history, winning his 8th world title which surpasses all boxers titles. Go Pacman!

After dinner, the crew went to IT Park to find a cold sweet desserts. Long story short, checked-in in MyJoy below JP Morgan Chase Bldg and grab some *really sweet halo-halo.

We end our day laughing and facebook chatting and reading the Bible.

Last November 5, 2010 I attended God Rock Music event at The Outpost "God Rock's The Outpost", the second time I watched the bands played. FriendlyFire crew was late because of the heavy traffic at the IT Park area.
