The Vista release of Windows’ operating system introduced many new measures. One of these new features was the UAC (User Access Control) which closely regulated the freedom most user-installed programs had. Bandwidth is an incredibly cheap commodity. What the ISPs really struggle with is the fact that their communication infrastructure cannot handle the amount of bandwidth that they promised their customers. If they hadn’t over promised or – better – if they were able to improve their systems, then this wouldn’t be an issue.

Does It Make A Difference?

In fact the study went further: some of the most popular albums would actually be improved due to the increased exposure to their target markets.

The new Rhever service is being touted as something of a filesharing revolution, though we’ll reserve judgment on that for the time being. Rhever claims that its filesharing services gives users high-speed access to 25 million files.

Ares And Copyright Infringement

Ares and p2p software has always been – and likely always will be – surrounded by the dark cloud of copyright infringement. Some say that copyright is an erroneous law, and that it is impossible to ‘own’ data and intellectual property in the sense envisaged by the rules.
