Aaron Usher of Mason won the Railroader 5K with a time of 16:39. Wanda Handlin of Flushing was the first female to finish in 21:08.

Lloyd Kilbreath of Durand won the 5K walk in 36:17, and Stephanee Leech of Fenton was the first female walker to finish in 40:25.

Matthew Dignan of Fenton won the Race2Grace 5K run with a time of 20:34. Michelle Houle of Flint was the top female to finish in 22:19.

Dave Kemp of Fenton won the 5K walk with a time of 33:24. Susan Griffin of Flint was the first female to finish the walk in 34:08.

Hanne Christensen of Grand Blanc posted a 5:23 to give her the overall win in the mile, and Justin King of Flint was the first male to finish in 6:26.

Jayson Doggett of Fenton won the Fenton Tiger 5K run with a time of 17:08. Suzanne Larsen of Fenton was the top female finisher in 20:54.

Jolene Litogot of Fenton was the first overall finisher in the 5K walk in 31:58, and Pete Vance of Fenton finished first for the men in 47:41.

Healing Hands 5K Results 2013

Kreg Hatfield of Flint won the annual Healing Hands 5K Run with a time of 15:54. Lisa Veneziano of Fenton was the first female to finish the run in 18:48.

Kraig Webber of Davison won the walk in 28:27, with Kelly Bowden of Lennon coming in at 39:32.

St. Paul Spring “Tune-Up” 2013 Results

Clay Strycker of New Lothrop won the St. Paul Spring Tune-Up 5K Run in 16:48. Angela Kasten of Davison was the first female finisher in 20:22.

Denise Dvorak of Traverse City finished first overall in the 5K walk with a time of 33:07. Jonathan Davis of Swartz Creek finished in 36:12.

Flintstone Challenge 5K Results

Jimmy Dun of Birch Run won the first annual Flintstone Challenge 5K run with a time of 16:46. Colleen Cady of Grand Blanc was the first female to finish in 21:27.

Peggy Soth of Swartz Creek won the 5K walk with a time of 35:10, while Stephen Welch of Grand Blanc finished in 36:50.

Cinco de Mayo Race Photos

Sombreros were the norm at the Swartz Creek Golf Course in Flint today at the second annual Cinco de Mayo Run. The weather couldn’t have been any better, and everyone seemed to have a great time at this fiesta!

Pictures from the event can be found on the I Run Flint Flickr page, and it was announced at the race to check out the Tri to Finish Facebook page in a few days for finish line pictures.

Cinco de Mayo 2013 Race Results

Kenny Wall of Flushing won the 10K with a time of 33:15. Amanda Hetfield of Northville was the first female to finish the 10K in 48:00.

Rick McDowell was the overall winner of the 5K run with a time of 17:41. Rachel Ledebuhr of Okemos was the first female to finish in 21:32.

Mark Vestevich of Birmingham won the 5K walk with a time of 34:53, and Caitlin Dodge of Lake Orion wasn’t far behind coming in at 34:55.

Run for Boston Planned April 30 Downtown Flint

The Flint running community has come together to plan a Run for Boston in conjunction with the regular Tuesday group run hosted by the Flint Area Year Round Running and Walking Group. In addition to the group run, donations will be accepted for The One Fund Boston, announced by the Massachusetts Governor and Boston Mayor, to help those affected by the tragedy at the Boston Marathon on April 15.

Your $20 donation to the fund will get you a “Runners for Boston” t-shirt.

If Tuesday doesn’t work in your schedule, consider a donation directly to The One Fund Boston, or visit Bauman’s or Complete Runner to see if there are any additional shirts left.
