5 Things I do to have a good relationship with my boss

Youve been wondering how to impress your boss to give you a two thumbs up for a job well done.

Its not that easy to get his attention and make you his favorite employee you need to make an exceptional remarks for you to standout from everybody else.

But make sure you'll not to step someones feet while you make your move to make an impression..It has no difference if you got your desires to be a favorite but all of your officemates are angry with you.

You will end up alone and nobody wants to talk or even make friends with you.

Here are some of my best tips to get notice without hurting anyone.

1.Step out on the office after everybody does. Yeah,it makes for you difficult to stand and walk out the office last but sure thins is your boss will realize that you are a hardworking person. A simple gesture like this wont make your life difficult.. Imagine you and your boss are the only person sitting on the desk until 6pm onwards he will be noticing you on a simple deed you accomplish.. You may not gibe the best result for your job but its a thumbs up for hardwork.

2. Talk to your boss. This doesnt mean that you need to come to his office and make a chit chat over there for couple of hours. Instead report to him what are you doing. A 5 minutes talk in the morning and evening before you left is a good sign that you have a good communication with him showing your leadership in a very simple way. Say hi and hello, report to him what is the team accomplishment and report the possible problem that your team is about to encounter.. In that way you are seeking for an advice from him aor his opinion from what really is happening. He will think a possible solution for you to implement. In orher word you will just to take action and the result will be appreciated by your boss although the idea is not coming from you. Communication is the best way to relate all things together. A leadership as simple as this makes yu a standout.

3. Follow his instruction first before complaining. For a boss his words and idea is correct and absolute. When he gives an instruction make sure you follow first his idea otherwise if you tell him the problem and your idea. For sure he will reject your proposal. After you finished the job or you are half Way doing it. Come to him and tell him the problem. Do not confront him without any suggestion from you or a solution for him to realize that you jave a correct idea and how to implement it

4. Never argue with your boss. Its the die and die solution of you did that. Not only the argument will mark on his mind but it will make a a big gap between you and him. Worse he will find you very arrogant. What you can do is listen to him let him finish his sentiment and go back to work. After an hour or two go back to him and explain briefly what you want. In this scenario the hear will not reached to

Maximum limit. Just remember that you are the employee and he is your employer.

5. Do not be as close to your boss. Limit your access to his personal life and time. Never ask personal things otherwise you just listen to him if he is willing to share his personal things.

Always remember that if you want a non stressful life go along with everybody never let your anger burst on any situation or you will find yourself a decision that you will regret all your life.

CHEAPEST SENDING MONEY FROM SINGAPORE TO PHILIPPINES

Kabayan, I have discovered a cheapest way to send money to the Philippines. All you'll ever need is your POSB Account or DBS Account, Internet connection for Sender and a Mastercard Debit Card for your Receiver in the Philippines. Cost only 1SGD per send of your remittance

If you knew this already.Good for you. If not , You can save 3 SGD not bad right? Its one good meal at Lucky Plaza.

Lets Start.
1. You need a POSB or DBS account or debit Card. All of us have an internet account connecting with DBS and POSB

POSB CARD or DBS CARD

2. Your Pin verification device.

Device. the new model looks like a small alculator

3.We also need for your receiver a mastercard or maestro type of debit card..

Arrow. It shows and it works only if your receiver is using maestro or mastercard type of debit card.

4. On the internet Google the POSB or DBs if you a are not sure what is the website address.

5. Log in using your verification device.

6.Select Fund Transfer and Select DBS MasterCard Money send

7. Once you clicked there will be a pop up window like this. Select Ok.

8. Register yourself. fill up the corresponding data. Make sure that the data you encode is the same data you fill up when you register your account with DBS or POSB. If the data is not the same the DBS will reject your application.

After you finished your data fill ups click proceed.

9. Register your Account as sender and the receiver details. Add as many as you want as long it has a Master Card or Maestro card.

10. Now the set is finish you can send money now through DBS Moneysend. Select the funding account . Then select the receivers account. Type in the amount of money you want to send then GET ESTIMATE.

From here you can check the amount and the exchange rate plus the charge amount.

11. If it is acceptable to you click proceed.

I have been using money send 5 times now since i discovered it from my officemates. Its convenient and easy to use. I do not need to go anywhere to waste my time and effort. All I can do is open my phone and Voila! I can send money if it is emergency. I used this because its cheap and convenient to use. plus the fee is much lower than other remittance center.

I share this because for some of you who did not know yet at least you can have a choice where you want to do this.

Gardens By The Bay: Spend Less but Enjoy More

Its fun to spend your weekend and holiday with someone you loved the most. This Saturday afternoon we went to Gardens by the Bay. My Housemate told me that there will be a free admission to some of the paid gardens. So we went off and try to see the beauty of man created nature. But unfortunately, There isn't one.

Its expensive if you are only here for work a 12 SGD per person per each conservatories is not preferred. Imagine if you are a family of 5 for 12SGD each. Its much better to eat something nice and expensive rather than to spend this money for only a show. Am I correct?

Nevertheless, I will share some information to all visitors out there. If you want to visit Gardens by the Bay.

The Gardens by the Bay is located at Gardens' Address:18 Marina Gardens Drive Singapore 018953.

By Car/Taxi

From East Coast Parkway (ECP) heading towards the city:

Take Exit 17A and turn left onto Marina Place
Continue through to Marina Boulevard
Turn left at Marina Gardens Drive

From East Coast Parkway (ECP) heading towards Changi Airport:

Take Exit 17 and turn right onto Central Boulevard
Turn right onto Marina Station Road
Turn left onto Marina Street
Follow through onto Marina Boulevard
Turn left at Marina Gardens Drive

By MRT/Bus

Via the Circle Line:

Alight at Bayfront MRT Station (CE1)
Take exit B and follow the underground linkway
Exit and cross the Dragonfly Bridge into Gardens by the Bay

Via the North-South Line:

Alight at Marina Bay MRT (NS27/CE2) station
Take exit A and hop onto bus service 400
Alight 4 stops later at the bus stop along Marina Gardens Drive

Walking

From the Helix Bridge towards the Art Science Museum:

Follow the footpath which leads under the ECP, that will bring you directly into Bay South Garden along the waterfront.

From Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre: Walk across the Lions Bridge on Level 4 which connects to the Dragonfly Bridge into Bay South Garden.

Here are some Parking tips for you. For a cheaper parking go to the nearest mall at marina bay. Its a free parking so you can save a little for your trips.

MARINA BAY SAND. Just a photo outside of it makes us happy. Simple and satisfied. Actually you can go up to the tower but in exchange you are going to pay 15-20 SGD just to use the elevator and see the Singapore in a different view. But for us enjoying with this fine architecture is a blast for our eyes.

It will never go wrong if you just appreciate all things you can see. Sometimes you just need to look around and see beauty of nature. We haven't spend any money for this trip for the expensive entrances on this work of art. Only for the travel expenses in MRT. A bottled water and a dinner in a cheap eating location nearby.

My wife and Quinne spend looking on the tower and the river in front of it. Its a time consuming for us to catch every single angle of sight so why need to pay extra. Singapore made this for the tourist who has enough money. But for a working professional like us. We spend our money preparing for our future.

Giant Grove. This location is a good spot for taking pictures. We are standing in the bridge where you can see fully the river from a higher grounds.

Bridge toward Hapiness. My child Quinne enjoys the different lights on this bridge. A wonderful view.

Outside. Instead of going inside and see the famous different flowers. We spend our time walking along the river side and enjoy the view from this architectural feature from behind. We didn't make it to go inside at least on the side we did. A long walk toward Marina Bay. We spent half an hour taking pictures and chit chat. plus a cold drink and a pack of junk food

Hallway. Before we left we enjoy the mirrors and dazzling nature picture inside the hallway of the MRT before arriving at Gardens by the Bay. The colorful pictures and mirrors satisfied our eyes. No cost at all.

Flower. To see this kind of flower is natural for me . I have been to mountains in different area in my home town. I spend my weekends in climbing mountains ,swimming in the river, river trekking and more. but for someone living in the city this is attractive.

I am in the field of engineering specializing in construction. I am working as an Engineer to a Multi National Japanese construction company. How i ended up to this company has a long story but at least i can give some vital information on how i landed a job in Singapore.

1. Before we continue lets have a checklist so everyone can follow. Here are the list for an engineering graduates.

You have at least 3 years of solid experience in your chosen field.

Project Engineer -mostly the company here in SG requires to have an high rise residential projects which means you have experience in bored piling activities, concreting,subcon management and you already knew the sequence of top to bottom construction. Because i am sure you will end up to be a site supervisor. that is the lowest position you can get if you are a new comer.

QS Engineer- Ussually they hired a very expereinced person for a QS engineer . Most of the people i knew workin here in SG came from Middle East as their stepping stone to be hired. And employers choose who has an expreince working out of the countries

QC Engineer-I am aware that this job for expats are needing minimum 5 years of experience in documentation CONQUAS, must have a knowledge hoe to submit papers for local government.

If you have the qualifications of 5 years there is nothing to worry about. The next thing you may want to know is the expenses.
