Sharing on social networking sites are very good and traffic generating. There are many plugins that adds social sharing button in wordpress but its a bit hard to add social sharing buttons in phpBB bulletin board. Well, Here everything explained how to add these buttons to your forums.

1. Login to your phpBB Forum into Admin Account. or Login to Hosting account and open file manager.

2. Navigate to Forums > Styles > Your current Style > Template > Viewtopic_body.html

3. Open viewtopicbody.html and edit it.

4. Press CTRL+F and find the code below:

What is Google panda new algorithm Update February 2011?

Google panda is the Google's new algorithm which aims to detect the site which having copied content and penalized them. Many of the sites has lost their rankings because of the copied content but it remain a blessing for the unique content holders.

Google Panda refers to the changes introduced in 2011 to the search algorithm used by Google to improve Internet search results. The change aims to lower the rank of "low-quality sites" in search results and return high-quality sites to Google's users.

Soon after the Panda rollout, many websites,including Google's webmaster forum, became filled with complaints of scrapers/copyright infringers getting better rankings than sites with original content. At one point, Google publicly asked for data points to help detect scrapers better. Google's Panda has received several updates since the original rollout in February 2011, and the effect went global in April 2011. To help affected publishers, Google published an advisory on its blog, thus giving some direction for self-evaluation of a website's quality.

If you feel like you’ve been unjustifiably hit by the Google Panda Update, Google recommends that you let them know in this forum thread. How to add Javascript, PHP, Iframe, HTML or even any kind of Code in Joomla 1.7 in Articles & Custom Module?

You are unable to insert PHP, JavaScript, PHP, HTML code in Joomla 1.6 and 1.7 Articles and Custom Modules. The code gets stripped upon saving in the TinyMCE WYSIWYG Editor.

There May be Following Problems with your Joomla Settings. Please Check everything instructions I am providing here.

Quick Method :

The quickest and easiest method to including code in content is to have create a spare user account set up without any editor, and include that user in a group for which there are no blacklisted tags.

You set blacklist/whitelist tags in :

Article Manager --> Options --> Set Filter Groups to No Filtering for the access level of your spare user. (Best to use a Super User account for this if you can.)

Now Follow Bellow Instructions If You Like to Ennable or disable you TinyMCE Editor On/Off for Scripts :

1. Go to Plugin manager

2. Select TinyMCE Editorthe same for TinyMCE settings in the Plug-in Manager:

Cleanup code on load: Off

Clean code on Save: Never

Delete any code from Prohibited Elements or Optionally add Dumy Data ex : cms

Add Any More scripts which you want to White list in Extended Valid Elements

Now go to Article Manager and follow instructions given bellow:

1. Article Manager > Article Manager Options

2. Click on Text filtering Tab

Read Before Altering anything : These are the text filters that will be applied to articles submitted by users in the selected groups. These filtering options give more control over the HTML your content providers submit. You can be as strict or as liberal as you require to suit your site needs. The filtering is opt-in and the default settings provide good protection against markup commonly associated with Web site attacks.

3. Go to Super User Drop Down Option : Select No Filtering.

Please note that Do not provide above authorizations to Registered user group they can also insert any kind of code within your article. It can be virus code, add codes. So keep above authorizations to Super user only.

How to remove and replace Meta Tag Generator Information in Joomla 1.7

In Joomla 1.7, the system automatically creates a META Generator tag that you might want to change or hide.

The default tag looks like this:

There is no way within Joomla to change or remove this tag, so you have to put a little line of PHP in your template.

Edit your template and look for this line:

<jdoc:include type="head" />

Just above that line, paste in the following :

The two lines together should look like this:

<jdoc:include type="head" />

In the above code, substitute your custom generator tag value in place of the words my site. You May write your domain name in place of this meta tag.

Your website need constant maintenance & up gradation. This is the time when you you need to put up a “maintenance mode” page while working on the site (e.g. while moving a site to a different server). What’s the best way of doing that? First you create a small, static HTML page that will appear to your visitors, then you put this at the top of your .htaccess file:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/berightback\.html$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://example.org/berightback.html [R=307,L]

If you still need to be able to access the live site while you perform the maintenance, you can add a condition permitting requests from your IP address. This line should be placed after the RewriteBase / line:

RewriteCond %{REMOTE_ADDR} !^00\.000\.000\.000

Be sure to replace the zeros in 00\.000\.000\.000 with the digits from your own IP address, which you can find

by visiting WhatIsMyIP.com.

Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA), also known as Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) literally means analyzing documents to find the underlying meaning or concepts of those documents. If each word only meant one concept, and each concept was only described by one word, then LSA would be easy since there is a simple mapping from words to concepts.
LSI or LSA is an obvious method of retrieving relevant pages is by matching the terms of a search query with the same text found in all web pages.

How Latent Semantic Analysis Works :

Latent Semantic Analysis arose from the problem of how to find relevant documents from search words. The fundamental difficulty arises when we compare words to find relevant documents, because what we really want to do is compare the meanings or concepts behind the words. LSA attempts to solve this problem by mapping both words and documents into a "concept" space and doing the comparison in this space.

Since authors have a wide choice of words available when they write, the concepts can be obscured due to different word choices from different authors. This essentially random choice of words introduces noise into the word-concept relationship. Latent Semantic Analysis filters out some of this noise and also attempts to find the smallest set of concepts that spans all the documents.

In order to make this difficult problem solvable, LSA introduces some dramatic simplifications.

Documents are represented as "bags of words", where the order of the words in a document is not important, only how many times each word appears in a document.
Concepts are represented as patterns of words that usually appear together in documents. For example "leash", "treat", and "obey" might usually appear in documents about dog training.
Words are assumed to have only one meaning. This is clearly not the case (banks could be river banks or financial banks) but it makes the problem tractable.

Small businesses should be aware of two major developments from Google.

For starters, I don't know if you've been keeping up with all of the Google+ news, but the company has been shutting down the profiles of those that have been created for businesses. Right now, Google doesn't want businesses using the service in its current incarnation (which is still in testing mode).

A few weeks ago we mentioned we would be doing a test of business profiles and asked people interested to apply. Believe it or not we actually had tens of thousands of businesses, charities, and other organizations apply to take part from all over the world. Many of you have reached out to me personally through Google+, e-mail, chat, and even other Googlers. Thank you. Your response has been humbling.

With so many qualified candidates expressing intense interest in business profiles, we've been thinking hard about how to handle this process. Your enthusiasm obligates us to do more to get businesses involved in Google+ in the right way, and we have to do it faster. As a result, we have refocused a few priorities and we expect to have an initial version of businesses profiles up and running for EVERYONE in the next few months. There may be a tiny handful business profiles that will remain in the meantime solely for the purpose of testing how businesses interact with consumers.

In the meantime, we ask you not to create a business profile using regular profiles on Google+. The platform at the moment is not built for the business use case, and we want to help you build long-term relationships with your customers. Doing it right is worth the wait. We will continue to disable business profiles using regular profiles. We recommend you find a real person who is willing to represent your organization on Google+ using a real profile as him-or-herself.

Separately, Google has made some changes to its Place Pages for local search. It will be interesting to see how they integrate Place Pages with Business Profiles in Google+. If your customer service isn't top notch, this could hurt you.

Many people who are interested in creating a Facebook presence for their business, band, or other organization often make the mistake of setting up a new personal profile on Facebook, substituting the name of their organization into the First and Last name fields on the Facebook signup page. This can frequently result in frustration (especially when you're trying to fill in the fields for the gender and birth date of your organization), and there's usually a decent chance of the profile being disabled by Facebook, because Facebook profiles are intended for personal use by individuals, not groups or companies.

To create a presence for your group, you need to use Facebook Pages, which are essentially profiles geared towards companies and other organizations or services. To create a Page, sign into your personal Facebook account and then go to facebook.com/pages and click the + Create Page button. (If you don't have a personal Facebook account you can still create a page by going to facebook.com/pages, but you will have to register in order to administer your Page.)

Next, choose which kind of organization you're creating the Page for, such as a band, a non-profit, your freelancing service, and so on. Based on the category you choose, you'll be asked to enter additional information, such as the address of your business, or the name of the event you're creating the Page for. One important note: if you want your comments to appear as being posted by your organization, and not from your personal Facebook account, go to the Account menu in the upper-right hand corner of the website, and choose Use Facebook as Page. Here are some other cool and useful things you can do with your Page. First click Edit Info under your Page's name. From there you can do things like:

Add apps. Select Apps from the left hand column, and choose to add apps like Events, Photos, Video, and Discussion Boards, which make it easy to add multimedia and interactivity to your page.

Add Admins. More than one person can manage a Facebook Page. Just go to Manage Admins to give other Facebook users Admin privileges. Just be sure you trust the people you make admins, because they'll have complete control over the Page.

Check your stats. Click Insights to see data and graphs detailing how many people have Liked your Page and how many users are actively using your Page each month.

And be sure to explore the other categories in the left sidebar to see what additional options are available for you to customize.

Once your Facebook Page is looking the way you like, be sure to promote it by linking to it on your personal account's wall so that it will appear in your friends' newsfeeds. Encourage friends and others to visit your page and to click the Like button and become Fans of your Page. Any updates or announcements you make on your Page will appear in the newsfeeds of all your Fans.

How Google Search Engine Algorithm works?

Here is my small attempt to explain how Google Algorithm works. Google Search Engine is evolved as a very highly complex algorithm.

There is a Software programs called Crawlers or Googlebots continuously travel the Web to scan content.
A crawler visits a page, copies its content and moves onto pages that are linked to it.
It repeats the process on these linked pages and thus it moves from one page to another throughout the web.
Google then processes these pages and creates an Index- consisting of all information found on these pages; the words, the links, etc.
The index is then organized into manageable sections and stored across computers worldwide.
When a query is typed in the Search Box, the query is sent to Google machines and it is matched with the information stored in the index.
Google then comes up with a Result Page (Called SERP or Search Engine Result Page) showing the most relevant answers to the query.

You find the matched information according to your query on the web.

The +1 button is shorthand for "this is pretty cool" or "you should check this out."

Google's much-discussed +1 button became available for any and all website publishers today and it's a social initiative with a uniquely Google twist. Web travelers will be able to click the +1 button on any web page or ad they want to recommend (just generally recommend!) and then that page will be privileged in relevant searches performed by their Google account contacts. Searches on YouTube will show +1 results from Google contacts as well.

Google announce Wednesday that it's provide live stream of lunar eclipse, which is only visible to people in Europe, Africa, Central Asia and Australia. Anyone can watch this rare 100-minute long total lunar eclipse starting at 15:55AM IST today 16 june 2011. We very excited that this rare occasion will be visible from our Delhi, India location.

Some who will not in those locations or working inside the underground campus can watch it live on google. Google will stream the lunar event live today from 2 to 6 p.m. EDT. Users will be able to watch the eclipse via several different channels, such as YouTube, Google Earth and an Android app. Google also will have astronomers giving live narrations of the event.

The 100-minute total lunar eclipse period of totality is the longest since July 2000.

Next total lunar eclipse solar event will be in 2141.
