Olivia is digging Yoga lately so hey, I just go with the flow. She's been looking for a Yoga mat and yoga strap, ya know, all the stuff that goes along with doing Yoga (www.yogaaccessories.com)...she's something else! Me? I'd rather be on the treadmill. I'm already flexible lol, I need stamina - you know, to manage walking all over Disney!

Well, after a day of 'shopping', Olivia thinks she'd like an acoustic guitar now. I've been looking for an epiphone dr-100 acoustic guitar and I'll get her one, IF she is actually going to play again. She was never able to make up her mind about if she wants to play guitar or not. I don't think there should be any question - she either does or she doesn't. If you love it, you know it.

Only 1 Indoor Project

With Summer rounding the bend, it's time to think about the outdoor projects we want to do. However, there is one indoor project that will need to be completed - cleaning out the attic! We would like to turn the attic into a bedroom for Olivia.

Her room is so small, she barely has enough space for her stuff. She used to have a TV in her room (thank goodness for tv mounts!) but we've since moved the TV to our basement for all the kids to use.I'm glad the kids are older and can help with these projects!

No, not kids' toys - big toys, you know, grown men toys. CJ got a Kawasaki motorcycle on the cheap, fixed it up, and now is looking to sell it. So far, we have it listed on Craig's List.

We've had some people interested, but nothing came of it. One guy needed his extra cash for a vacation and another guy decided he needed to make getting a pickup truck cover his priority. Oh well...I just wish it would sell before vacation - then we'd have some extra money to spend in Disney!

So the kids came home from school the other day and Dante was talking about these "boomwhackers" they used in music class. So of course I had no idea what he was talking about or what bookwhackers were. I looked them up online and found boomwhackers from musicians friend.

Very interesting they use this stuff in school. Actually really neat and very colorful!

Little Things are Driving Me Nuts

I'm looking around this house and all I see are these little things - that look HUGE to me, that need to be taken care of. From fresh paint on the living room walls to finding a new cushion for chair in the dining room.

I am starting to feel claustrophobic...I need to organize and clean!

We have a trip to West Virginia planned next month to visit CJ's dad. His dad lives out in the middle of nowhere, it's nice. Last year I got a bottle of Jack for his dad, this year I'm thinking maybe some smokes, if I can find a decent cigars discount online.

And yes, the kids are going with us! It will be a fun little family trip :)

I was instructed to find a gantry crane. I had never even heard of such a thing, until I found a site with them. CJ seems to ask me for the strangest things...

I am amazed at how fast things are found online. I mean, it's scary! I still wonder how in the heck I ever managed to get by without the Internet.

Although Dante plays the drums here at home, he is thinking about playing a musical instrument at school. He feels he will like a wind instrument best. I do not know if I will be able to handle another instrument, but being the awesome mm I am, I found euphonium at wwbw.

Recently, my kids have decided they want to start a band...complete with instruments, a lead singer, and recording equipment. I will always back them up and encourage them to chase their dreams, so, first up, they want me to find an apogee duet 2 at GC to turn our Mac into a mini recording studio.

Can't wait to have rocker kids! LOL!

We go back to Disney this June/July. We're thinking of doing more than Disney, but we want to do it in style. I found a st petersburg limousine that would be a great way to take a tour!It is going to be so hot during our next trip, I'm already prepared for that, so having a down day is a great idea!

I haven't been to the doctor (or gynecologist for that matter) in years. I hate sterile rooms (that aren't sterile!) and seeing all the tools, knowing what's coming. LOL. Last time I was there, I noticed colposcopes, not for me, thank goodness!

Then I look at these guys and realize they're 'growing up so fast' and I owe it to them to have a check-up, a complete check-up. Sigh...

100 Days Already?

Last week the kids had their 100th day of school. They love it because it means the school year is more than half over. I dread it because it means I need to seriously get my taxes done.

Since I won a small business, I always wind up paying in - never get any money back. So, I'm always looking for ways to save the business money. Right now I really want business cards so I've been looking into zooprinting.com for trade printing, sounds like a great idea! Anyone ever try this?

The boys FINALLY had a clean room, thanks to CJ and me. Now CJ is looking on the Reid Supply website for gadgets to do more 'remodel' type things. I would rather just have paint and new carpet first. We'll figure it out. In the meantime, I wonder how long the boys will be able to keep their room clean?

Olivia will be 10 years old next month but she is not too old to play with dolls. I love that she loves to play with her baby dolls :)
