Luxor’s Steamy Adult Revue Celebrates 11^th Anniversary with New Star, New Numbers

FANTASY, the Strip’s most exciting adult revue, just got even hotter with the introduction of powerhouse vocalist and exotic beauty, Lorena Peril. In celebration of its 11th anniversary, FANTASY at Luxor reveals 17 high-energy scenes, brand new choreography, special guest performers and a singing starlet that will keep the temperature rising in Las Vegas.

Peril takes center stage alongside FANTASY’s sizzling, international cast in this engaging, intimate production great for both couples and singles alike. Routines include a diverse lineup of FANTASY favorites such as “Feeling Love,” a sensual silk aerial act, “Salsa,” a spicy Latin number, and “Save a Horse,” a saucy rendition of the country hit, in addition to wildly funny comedic interludes and spot-on celebrity impersonations by Sean E. Cooper. Brand new performances include “Desnudate,” FANTASY’s opening act showcasing Peril’s Latina flair, “Hips Don’t Lie,” a flirtatious belly dance number and duet featuring Peril and Cooper, and “Lady Marmalade,” an upbeat performance demonstrating Peril’s amazing vocals.

FANTASY was created and re-choreographed by Mann in celebration of the show’s 11th anniversary. The adult revue performs nightly in the Atrium Showroom, located on the second floor inside Luxor. The Fiesta Gets Wacky as Part of Mischieve Wednesdays at T&T

In celebration of Mexican Independence Day, Tacos & Tequila (T&T) will launch the worldwide premiere of “Viva T&T” Wednesday, September 15. The wacky rendition of Elvis Presley’s “Viva Las Vegas” will showcase an entertaining routine choreographed to DJ Ernan’s mariachi mash-up, starring Sin City’s most unique trio – a mini Mariachi Elvis, the extremely sexy Elissa cast as a modern-day Ann-Margret and the one-and-only human rooster.

In addition, those who dress to impress in their best Elvis costume will receive a complimentary daiquiri from T&T on September 15. The best Elvis impersonator will be crowned king, taking home the “Mr. VIVA Elvis” title and $1,000 in cash and prizes.

As part of T&T’s Mischieve Wednesdays, “Viva T&T” will take partygoers beyond belief as the unlikely-threesome performs a fun number from the hit film every Wednesday night starting at 8 p.m. Following the hourly performances, Mariachi Elvis will join T&T’s never-ending fiesta with DJ Ernan on the beats and the sexy emcee Elissa on the mic. will.i.am entered the ultra pool party with R&B singer Omarion and fellow Black Eyed Peas member apl.de.ap. Always fashion forward, the friends arrived on the blue carpet in hipster style. will.i.am rocked a striped V-neck sweater, black cropped pants and white aviators, while apl.de.ap sported a leather vest and mohawk. Ecstatic bikini-clad fans cheered for the famed mixmaster as he walked the blue carpet and bounced to the beats of WET REPUBLIC’s infamous house music spun by Tony Arzadon and Nathan Scott. When asked about his personal favorite DJs, WET REPUBLIC regulars Chuckie, AfroJack, Laidback Luke and Fedde Le Grande topped his all-star list.

Also making an appearance was Electra's beau, Rob Patterson. The two quickly took a photo together before Patterson hurried off the carpet to let Electra work her magic. Young MC arrived at Studio 54 first, clad in a long-sleeved No Fear shirt and snap pants. While on the carpet, Young MC explained how youth trying to get in the music business should stay in school and keep their day job but keep music as their number one hobby. After posing for some photos, Young MC was joined by Tone Loc, who wore towel around his neck and a tshirt emblazoned with LOVE ME OR LEAVE ME ALONE. After joking around with one another on the carpet, and a few inappropriate hand gestures, the duo made their way into the packed venue to join the sexy clubbers inside.

Once inside, Young MC and Tone Loc were entertained by beats spun by DJ Gusto as they walked through the sea of fans at Studio 54. Shortly after settling in, Young MC hit the stage to the roar of the crowd. While on stage, Young MC showed his West Coast style as he rapped some of his songs that bought him international acclaim, including "Bust a Move." Fans went wild as he rapped "Fastest Rhyme," where the veteran performer showed that he still had the talent that made him famous in the early 90s.

Tone Loc was next to take the stage as the actor and rapper sang "Funky Cold Medina" and "Wild Thing" for the ecstatic crowd. Hundreds of excited fans and guests gathered in Moorea Beach Club at Mandalay Bay on Saturday night to see Black Eyed Peas frontman and co-founder, will.i.am perform a celebratory DJ set to jump start the Labor Day Weekend. Upon arrival, will.i.am, looking dapper in a white jacket (with matching white sunglasses), jeans, and black high-tops, entered Moorea Beach Club and immediately headed to the Living Room, an exclusive, VIP section that overlooks the venue. The famous rapper and
producer was all smiles as he waved at ecstatic fans, each one trying to get a glimpse of the mega star. Also making an appearance was fellow group member apl.de.ap. The two posed for a few photos alongside Manager Polo Molino and then sat down to relax while enjoying delicious and healthy fruit and vegetable tray assortments.

The adorable couple held hands, cuddled and sneaked kisses as they floated down the Grand Canal. Following the ride, Bridget and Nick dined at Wolfgang Puck’s CUT at The Palazzo. The couple sat side by side in a booth and selected Sherwood Pinot Noir to accompany their entrees. Bridget was excited for amuse of gougers “cheese puffs” the restaurant serves as a starter.

For the main course, Bridget dined on the Dry Aged Petit New York while Nick enjoyed the Dry Aged Rib Eye. The couple shared mac & cheese and cream of spinach for their sides. To complete the romantic evening, the couple treated themselves to Bruléed Baby Banana Cream Pie for dessert, which is made with cream brulee, roasted banana, whipped cream, chocolate sauce and chocolate pearls. Nick recognized the server as one of his good High School friends and was happy to have a familiar face taking care of them.

On Saturday night, the couple hit hotspot TAO at The Venetian and dined on the chef’s selection of favorites including Chilean Sea Bass and Sushi Rolls before heading up to the nightclub.

PARIS HILTON ARRESTED AT LAS VEGAS RESORT

On Friday, August 27th, 2010 at approximately 11:22 pm, a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department traffic officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in which Paris Hilton and her associate Cy Waits were riding in. Waits was the driver, and is the registered owner of the 2009 Cadillac Escalade. The basis for the stop was that the officer noticed the strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle as it traveled along Las Vegas Blvd near the Wynn Hotel Casino.

Hilton was moved into the security office of the Wynn Resort. Once inside, It was discovered that Ms. Hilton had cocaine in her possession. She was arrested for one count Possession of Cocaine, transported to the Clark County Detention Center, and booked accordingly. Hilton was released on her own recognizance at 2:45 am Saturday, which is standard procedure for anyone facing similar charges.

Waits was arrested for DUI Drugs and or Alcohol. He was transported to Clark County Detention Center and booked. Waits is expected to be released on the afternoon of Saturday August 28th, 2010.

Olivia Harrison, wife of the late George Harrison, watched the 7 pm performance of The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil at The Mirage in Las Vegas on Thursday, Aug 26th. Accompanied by her 91 year old mother visiting from Los Angeles, the ladies sipped champagne and snacked on popcorn during the show, and went backstage to meet the cast afterwards. Olivia said LOVE was the best she’s ever seen it (and she’s been here over a half a dozen times), and that she felt overwhelmed with joy and slightly high from the experience. It was the most high energy performance of LOVE she’s ever seen.

LOVE was born out of a personal friendship and mutual admiration between George Harrison and Cirque du Soleil founder, Guy Laliberté. After George’s death, Olivia spearheaded the collaboration between The Beatles and Cirque du Soleil, to fulfill George’s dream for Beatles music and a Cirque du Soleil production.

In partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment, The Palazzo celebrated the Las Vegas premiere of TAKERS Tuesday night at a packed Lagasse¹s Stadium. The exclusive invitation-only event played host to several members of the TAKERS cast including Hayden Christensen, Tip "T.I." Harris, Michael Ealy, Idris Elba, Jay Hernandez, director John Luessenhop and producer Will Packer.

The stadium was full of excited fans and talent all anxious to see the movie, which comes out in theaters August 27th.

The red carpet outside of Lagasse's Stadium was filled with fans as they patiently awaited the arrivals of the Takers cast.

Stephanie Pratt, from "The Hills," joined the cast on the Red Carpet and in the party before heading to a late dinner. The reality star was so excited about the TAKERS movie that she actually cancelled her plans just so she could make the premier. "I want to see this movie so bad. It has been on my radar to see," Stephanie said. "It just looks so great."

Hayden and Jay arrived to the after party a little early than the rest of the TAKERS cast and decided to test their luck on the casino tables as they were spotted playing blackjack on the casino floor of The Palazzo. "Didn't do as well as we hoped, but it was definitely fun playing" Jay Hernandez said. "Now it's just time to relax and celebrate this awesome movie."

Hayden, who has been in the media buzz after his engagement to Rachel Bilson ended, was quiet most of the night. The Jumper star spent majority of his evening talking with close friends at a private table.

Michael Ealy had another reason to celebrate in Las Vegas. It was just announced that Ealy will star in a new show "Common Law" on the USA Network.

T.I. arrived to The Palazzo to a welcoming fan base ready to greet him. "I love the fact that we are here in Vegas to celebrate the TAKERS," T.I. said. "We have so much to celebrate right now and this is the perfect place to do it." T.I. made sure not to disappoint as he immediately took reigns of the party upon his arrival.

Looking for some extra sizzle T.I., Michael, and Idris decided to take the party into their own hands hoping on stage alongside the infamous DJ Cassidy on the turntables. T.I. joked on the microphone "We all need to let our hair loose and start getting this place popping."

With the crowd eating out of his hand T.I. wasted no time telling everyone to support his clothing brand AKOO ("A King of Oneself").

While T.I. left the stage to join his large entourage, Idris stayed on stage with DJ Cassidy and even gave a small rapping performance while on the tables.

Floyd Mayweather was not to miss the premiere after party and soon joined Idris at the bash.

Specialty cocktails were served by Remy Martin V.S.O.P including "The Ghost" named after T.I.'s character in the movie. T.I. recently announced that he is the Global Creative Consultant to Rémy Martin Cognac. Kettle One Oranje also created a delicious specialty drink for the party called "The Breeze".

The stars stayed to enjoy the TAKERS premiere after party at Lagasse's Stadium and partied until around 2 am.

Before the event, the talent enjoyed dinner at Mario Batali's Carnevino at The Palazzo which included Filet Mignon, Chicken "Alla Cacciatora" and for dessert the group savored seasonal gelati and sorbetti selection.

Never one to go unnoticed, lead singer Justin Tranter arrived to the red carpet in a studded gold get-up and silver high-heel boots with Veuve Clicquot bottle in hand. The glam-rock celebrity was soon joined by bandmates Cole Whittle, Dan Crean and Stevy Pyne. The hundreds of fans outside the venue buzzed with excitement, while the musicians playfully posed on the red carpet for flashing bulbs. As the band made their way to the exclusive VIP area, the nightclub looked like a scene straight from a music video with blonde wigs abounding. After a short stop in VIP, the rockstars decided they were better-suited for the stage and Justin hit the turntables.

Gorgeous starlet Ashley Greene celebrated summer with bikini-clad poolside partiers at WET REPUBLIC on August 7th. Arriving in a cream-colored sundress cinched at the waist with a belt, the Twilight vampire looked tanned, toned and sexy. The brunette bombshell was ready to get the party started on her first-ever visit to a Las Vegas ultra pool. Taking in the unrivalled party scene around her, Ashley said, “I’m here at WET REPUBLIC to hang out…I brought all my friends and we’re going to have a good time! Honestly, I had no idea it was going to be this huge [of a party]. I’ve never actually been to a pool anywhere in Vegas so when we were walking down the stairs [into the venue] and I saw everyone, I was like ‘Oh my God!”

Making her way to the exclusive VIP bungalow with an entourage of over a dozen friends, Ashley revealed that she loves spending time with girlfriends. When asked about her favorite part of girls’ nights, she said, “We have four [hotel] rooms but we all always end up in my room, and I think that’s the most fun part about [the night] when we all get back and just hang out.“ The beautiful starlet then stripped down to a Hpnotiq-blue bikini and hopped in the private dipping pools to enjoy an afternoon with friends. Recently named one of Women’s Health magazine’s hottest summer bodies, Ashley gushed, “I’m so excited and flattered about it because I’m not super skinny or super thin. I think it’s a really amazing thing that they are looking at people being healthy. That’s my biggest [fitness] tip – just be healthy, eat right, work out and be happy with your body.”

While lounging in the pool, Ashley chatted up fans and posed for the thousands of bikini-clad party-goers. Dancing to DJ Hollywood’s Oasis “Wonderwall” remix, Ashley and friends toasted the party with a round of Hpnotiq “Polar Bear” shots! The crew then munched on a variety of delicious treats in their bungalow, including blood-red vampire-bitten Hpnotiq cupcakes and WET REPUBLIC’s signature Kobe Sliders.

The WET REPUBLIC partiers stayed cool under the Vegas sun by sipping chilled FIJI Waters in between Hpnotiq-spiked cocktails at Vegas’ ultimate daylife destination. The VIP party crew celebrated at WET REPUBLIC into the evening.
