So, it’s been another while since I posted here, about two weeks. Sorry about that, even though I’m not really sorry. I’ll get down to it…

I’ve been thinking about it the past few days and decided, but it’s best if I say it here so it doesn’t look like another blog that’s simply abandoned. I never wanted e-fame by making a blog, but I knew I didn’t want to make a blog then just stop for as much reason as I had making it in the first place. As the title of the blog itself may suggest, I was bored one day in March 2007, which is why I registered on Blogger and started a blog. I didn’t want to do something specific, it just seemed a good way to pass the time, and something to pass the time with is something that’s always nice. I Was Bored So I Made A Blog. But, I’ve pretty much become bored of the blog itself, so now what? Find something else to pass the time with? Probably. But if I have nothing I find interesting enough to post about, and if I’m bored of the general idea of me having a blog in the first place, what’s the point? At least I kept it going for more then a year, that’s long by most standards of blogs like this!

If I ever decide to make another blog, it’ll probably have a half-decent original idea to it so it would be at least a little interesting and that’ll guarantee that I’d post often, but I won’t come back to this one. It was fun, but, this one ends here. There’s Someone Listening In has been abandoned, I’ve become bored of the idea, and the Prologue page is dead now too. I’m not going to delete the page or delete my account, hopefully someone might still come across the site and find it interesting, despite the fact that it hasn’t been updated for months. But at least there was a proper farewell instead of the owner just walking away from it for no known reason. The last year and a month, 372+ posts, and whatever amount of comments I got (not a lot) have been fun. Later.

Woke up this morning later then usual, didn’t have school today because I had to go to a homeopath in Sligo. There was a Lite Brite there that was fun to mess around with. Got home and did the usual… nothing. I hadn’t read Questionable Content in a while so I did that… and finally took the time to check out Garfield Minus Garfield and was glad I did. I still have homework from yesterday to do for tomorrow, my science teacher is going to kill me unless I do it. Sigh.

Tomorrow I’m hopefully getting my dirty mitts on new albums by iForward, Russia!, Crystal Castles, Cut Copy and The Last Shadow Puppets. I already heard the FR one from when it leaked and it’s very good, and I’ve heard songs from the other three and can’t wait to hear the whole thing.

Well, how long was it since I posted here? A week? And three days? Yeah… that can be counted as a while. That, and the WordPress dashboard and writing thingamajigs look all different now… It’s hard to adjust but it’s definitely prettier then before, and the post writing form is easier to work. All lovely and gorgeous, like everything should be. Smiles all around!

I don’t know why there was a lack of new posts lately… maybe it was because on Wednesday the forum I spend most of my time came back after two months down time and I’ve been posting like crazy over there, and it could also be that I’ve become addicted to Questionable Content, or maybe I had nothing to blog about. That happens a lot. I’m sorry. Seriously though, QC is amazing.

I’ve been thinking of making another LiveJournal. I made one last Summer, but only posted twice, went for a holiday in Canada for three weeks, forgot my password and basically forgot about it. I’d hate to look one of those stupid scene kids who makes LiveJournals and post slash fan-fiction and talk about how no one understands them and they have Asperger’s Syndrome blah blah blah… but it does look pretty cool…

My parents are in Budapest for the weekend, which mean that for the past couple of days I’ve been an insomniac. OK, not an insomniac, but I have been staying up later despite still needing to wake up early in the morning. Yesterday I was up until 2am ish posting on earlier mentioned forum then watched late 70’s British comedy (Frank Spencer, you’re so pathetic but everyone loves you) until finally going to bed at God knows when. I’ll have to avoid doing that tonight because despite my parents not being back yet I still have school in the morning. Sigh.

I also re-subscribed to last.fm, with the intention of staying that way now. With my own money too, woop! I think I’ve run out of stuff now… I’m gonna go see what LiveJournal’s like now then see what else I can do with this oh so meaningful life. Ciao!
