Been a mediocre is a function of subconscious thought that grows over time as a result of too many attention given to ill sayings or destructive criticism made by supposed people interacted with.

No wonder, often time it is been said that, the crowd or environment we find ourselves have a lot to say about our wellbeing... No matter how life decides to turn, the fear of each day is a big battle we must conquer if we must survive turbulent times.

To attain self-fulfillment, you must be real and true to yourself, be the best version of you at all times. Until you learn to be nice to yourself and treat yourself like a champion, until you realize you're the best the world is waiting to make a difference, until you choose to be happy with what and where you are right now, until you appreciate fact of the past and present, progress is nothing but an illusion.

Its Not Over YET!

It is not over yet… though the light at the end of the tunnel may seem fading away- as a result of frustrated opportunities you should have but couldn’t take advantage of.

Certainly we may want to feel laid down because we’re human… but I say to you, it’s not over yet. 

Look beyond what there is today, bury the past and look ahead. Pondering over wasted opportunities will not bring it back, no wonder why frustration set in at time simply because we think over and over again dwelling on issues of yesterday;

What’s lost is gone; you don’t need to keep thinking and crying over split milk…

But rather, what you need is seeking a redirection….  Redirect yourself today as your firm, achievement and purpose depends on it.

Your today starts when you discover your purpose… And your inherent potential(s) is a pointer to your purpose.

Once again, lost opportunities should not deter you from who you are and what you are capable of achieving. Against all odds, just be you, believe for there will be definitely be light at the end of the tunnel.

While we brace for the New Year, it’s just ok to recount the good, the bad, and the ugly times we had in the past months, and take into account the lessons learned.

Life sometimes doesn’t bring to reality our expectations, but in the face of the unexpected, what should be our hope?

Occasionally, what we call out of direction has proven to be the right direction towards attaining the actual goals we’ve set in life. This I know, because we’ve seen and heard of experiences of people whom their so called mistakes really orchestrated their vision in attaining the level at which they are today. These mistakes at times are a part of our lives spectrum. So we don’t just live in a circle, but we live a sphere where patterns and rhythms must not be down played.

Understanding the rhythm of life towards success has often time never seem to be an easy path… this we must know. Hence, the challenges, the pains and the gains, the cross and the crown are the beats and symphony we must learn to dance to at all times. Success is never served on the platter of comfort, that’s why we must get out of our comfort zones if we must dance freely toward success.

Again, the sun will shine, the rain will fall…

Who knows, perhaps you are almost at the point of breakthrough, keep your eyes on the goal and keeping moving…. For surely, victory is certain.

SALIENT CAUSES OF STRESS AND WAY OUT!

Stress is one word that has remained in the vocabulary of many for quite a while in recent times.It has caused many to fall sick, loose means of livelihood, and even in some case death!

Suffice to know that this stress in some cases is man-made, created by us for ourselves all because of the situation we pushed ourselves or find ourselves in… and I tend to ponder how long this will get.

In this article, I shall be putting forth three causes of stress and a potential way of getting rid of it. It is my honest prayer that you reading this will find it helpful if not for yourself, for your friend(s) or family member or well-wishers by sharing this piece with them.

NUMBER ONE: Comparison

Many have over time made the act of comparison a routine, and a lifestyle to the extent that all they are is a “Photoshop” of others. Stop comparing yourself with others; this by itself limits what God wants to do in your life. For we do not make bold to rank or to compare ourselves with certain of those commending themselves, but they, among themselves, measuring themselves, and comparing themselves with themselves are not wise 2Corithians 10:12.Stop photo-shopping yourself, you’ve got to be you at all times because you’ve got a touch of distinction and when you start comparing yourself, you lose that distinction and become a cheap imitation of others.

It is stressful wanting to or living like some else.

NUMBER TWO: Unconfessed sin

We’ve seen people who are eating well, earning well, living in great houses, and surrounded by family and friends and yet losing weight not because they are literally sick. By themselves, they are stress out all because they are keeping malice, holding someone in their mind, and not willing to let go. In the end, been punished by their own attitude for not letting go. And to some, it could be as a result of perhaps a sin they had committed and don’t know how to let it out of their mind.

In such a time, you need to value your relationship with God; confess your fault to God. Therefore, when you are hurting as a result of what anyone has done to you, all you need to do is confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. James 5:16.

When you bury that offense or sin, it won’t bury you. Say it out; get people trust-worthy and speak to. If you don’t have faithful people to talk to, tell it to Jesus. Saying it out relieves you. When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long. Psalm 32:3 NLT

Only God can put your fault in the sea of forgetfulness and He’s always there for you to walk you through any situation of your life.

It is stressful living with unconfessed sin or fault.

NUMBER THREE: Uncommon pressure in the area of finances

What I will say here is very simple... Live within your means. Stop spending more than you earn.

This has caused many to say unnecessary prayers to God and most times want to believe God doesn’t answer their prayer. Living beyond your earning is ungodly in my opinion. Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth 1 timothy 6:6.

Needs will surely arise, apply wisdom in your quest to solve them, and not drown yourself in debt that will mess your financial status.

Unusual pressure in the area of finances is stressful. So rather than pray God to save you out of your financial crisis, pray that God should help you spend and live within your means.

Stop! think about this...

There are times you wake up in the morning and what comes to the mind is the wish that the night tarries longer, and your mind wondering what the new day has to offer. The race in the mind could be so worrisome and strength draining that with just a little mental work, one is out rightly stressed out.

Many while asleep are still engaged with subconscious mental activities all for the fear of the unknown.

By yourself, you cannot guarantee your future however sleek or intelligent you may be… You will need to have the help and guidance of your God to lead the way. Many have tried to be alright by the power of their might as if they own themselves, and with the click of the fingers they could do and undo the deeds surrounding their existence.

Life is not a trick, neither is it a fairy tale! What you sow, is what you definitely reap. Knowing what you want and planning accordingly with God in the mix defines your success.

So as you go about redefining and reforming your path aimed at achieving greatness, live with the consciousness of “without God you cannot do anything”.

Delay is not and will never be denial. There comes a time when that which you sole desire seems miles away... You prayed and thought through, yet that thing is not forth coming, KEEP WAITING!

Many have by themselves brought down their destiny due to impatient, fear of the unknown, and what people will say concerning the events surrounding them... Though the SET TIME may encounter delay, but be rest assured that your Samuel, your destiny helper will surely come.

Do not like king Saul out of fear or despair loose your kingdom, you're closer to your destiny than when you began. Any moment from now, the story will be different. Keep trusting in the Lord your God for there is not a mountain too high in your life that He can't make plain.

The world is facing one of the most interesting moments in recent time. A moment where people only want to think or consider themselves first in the light of any event... The worries and fears starring everyone is unimaginable, the love and faith of many waxing cold, believe is God is been questioned, even some doubt if actually it's okay to be alive.

All these thoughts and many more circulate the imagination of many today. With the hunger, war, friends betraying one another, husbands and wives distrusting one another, brothers and sisters chasing each other for success in an ungodly way, as if that's all, the pandemic (covid-19) not let any way aside. Yes! The world is sick, humanity is anxious.

The day may seem dark but the GREAT news is that, Christ is King. Jesus is Lord. And God is with His people. We often fail to know this and God is looking down to the children of men if there be any that understands Him or seek Him. The answer to our problems is abundantly in God's presence.

Should you don't know, God is a shepherd that keeps and protects. A Shepherd that won't allow his flock to want... A shepherd that is more than willing to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. And those that stays under His shadow are forever kept despite any problem or challenges that may be ravaging.

He is ever willing to be your Lord, that you may be save from the worries and faithlessness. To this effect, He says He will be merciful to your sins and your transgression will He remember no more if only my people will humble themselves and call unto me then they shall be saved.

His mercies is endless, His loving kindness is tender and sure. Would you rather be saved by God or man? He stands at the door of your heart, and He's knocking... Open that you may be granted the gift of sonship so you can call Him Abba Father!

What do you do when you are faced with a setback!!!

Life itself will present you with tough times, a time where you can’t say where your next line of action will lead to, a time when even your best friend will want to doubt your abilities, a time where your next meal ticket isn’t sure, a time when you don’t know who to turn to, a time when family seems far away from you as so on… when all or any of these gaze at you in the face, WHAT NEXT?

The mistake most people tend to make is to believe life is a bed of roses, as such lean on the abilities of others without being mindful of what they’ve got inside or what they by themselves can do.

Your family will help you…. YES!

Your Friends will want to help you… YES!

Innocent people and well-wishers might seek to help you… YES! But to what extend? How far can they go?

Or could it be that all is well with you and the day is greener daily for you? This post is evidently for everyone that cares about what life is got to offer; because even the rich also cry. And when at that point of crying, WHAT NEXT?

Through the odds and turmoil, there is still HOPE! Tough times do not last but tough people do. While the weak quit, tough people push through, they see the pain as a redirection for gain, the cross as a rite of passage to a get a crown, and the bleeding at night as a step to blessing. Tough people know always that though sorrow may endure for a night, but surely JOY will come in the morning.

Now! How you manage your NIGHT determines how your outcome will be in the MORNING. Who you think you are is the substance of your anticipation. It doesn’t matter where you may be right now; just keep on believing and looking up to God… Your victory is sure. If others in a worse situation than you might have known have existed their dark moments and walk passed the red sea of challenges and bad situations, YOU TOO WILL come out NICE and CLEAN.

So when you have a SETBACK, you just have to reach out your hands and grab it!

Salvation is Near!

Yes virtual everyone is hungry and angry at the way things are unfolding all over the world. The cry for help and mercy reverberating in the air, young and old in a state of confusion and it feels as if the arms of mercy is folded and hope not insight. No doubt, these are hard and sad times most people never envisage even in their wildest dreams, and to see it, in reality, is heartbreaking.

What is more amazing is that it’s a matter of every country to her tent. Nowhere to run to. The USA is seeking for help as much as Lesotho in Africa, Finland in Europe, and Ecuador in South America is seeking for help. Economy crashing, health system failing, and technology watching helplessly. The whole world in a state of “on your own” waiting for MIRACLE!

But there is HE that has got the whole world in HIS hand… the one that sits on HIS throne and makes the earth HIS footstool… the one that does not sleep either slumber. He knows and feels the pain the world is passing through… He says “if my people who are called by name shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and HEAL their land.” God is seeking people who will humble themselves in His sight so He can lift up… Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain. For except God intervenes, man’s intervention is in vain.

Therefore, the solution is right in front of you and me today, there is a place we can run to. Let’s act right and do the needful for salvation is near.

It's not a "you-alone" thing!

You can’t keep pretending all is well when all is visible and speaks contrary to your circumstances. The going may be rough and thorny, the storm may be raging and hitting you so hard that sometimes you feel like throwing the towel or quit; but still, you are standing.

The pain and bleeding are for a moment. The truth is, they don’t last forever… they are a part of our well-being. It's best to own up the challenges that stare at you, as that could be the beginning of breakthrough and healing in your life.

Knowing your challenges in life is as good as solving your problem halfway. The greatest deceit is to pretend as if all is well while dying slowing inside. Learn to talk about your pressing issues with people that can relate to your pain. Everyone has felt pain at some point in time; it's not a "you-alone" thing. If they came out strong and sound, then you too can even come out stronger!

Resolve to stand strong!

It’s often normal to want to quit when challenges overwhelm the essence of our being because the horizon feels dark. No one has made it in this life without a price been paid. The pain, the bleeding, and the cross is a test of how much greatness you can handle. Resolve to stand strong despite the odds is a vital key to success.

Most people have been faced with a diverse form of a setback in virtually every sphere of their lives. This setback occurs in the area of financial lack, failure in one examination or the other, hankering for what you cannot afford or perhaps as a result of self-imposed denigration due to family challenges that have reduced their self-worth.

At some point, these physical and emotional challenges as a result of unmet expectations leave us literally in the middle of nowhere. Like standing all alone on a lonely plain or in the middle of the dead blue sea with no one to look up to or call to for help –fighting what you cannot conquer! At this point where the thought is blank, depression set in.

Remember when the children of the Israelite were in between the red sea and the Egyptians?

Remember when Moses strokes the rock more than once as directed by God?

Remember what led to Moses breaking the Ten Commandments?

Remember when Job loosed everything?

Remember the aftermath of Peter betrayal of Jesus?

These are a few cases in the Bible that are a function of depression. So, depression is not a topic that emanates in our modern days. It has been way in existence before we were born… and most people today face this quagmire of depression without knowing. They live with it, breathe it, eat and sleep with it.

The mind, a nexus of several activities is bound to get perplexed at a certain point, and how we decide to handle it at that point of perplexity says a lot about how we tend to proceed with our goals in life. It suffices to know that, no matter the challenges or “problems” as some people will call it, you are not the first to be in that precarious circumstance… and the good news is that you have a God that sees and knows everything.

When all seem to be fading away around you, do not allow depression set in, close your eyes to the physical and look beyond your worries.

STAND STRONG!

How would you feel when the light from your window is fading and there is little or nothing you could do?

At that hopeless and helpless state, where all you think about is the feelings of desertion and neglect from all those you feel should be of help to you. It’s so bad that sometimes you feel folks around you rather than been empathetic all you see is the illusion of them making a mockery of you.

Yes, there are times like that. Times all you can realize is you standing between the devil and deep blue sea… times where your mantle is crippled by forces you cannot explain.

I know, this gory moments Starr at us in our day to day activities, and in our quest to achieve greatness and success.

Most people have thrown the towel as a result of these dilemmas they’ve encountered. But you should know the objective of these challenges or conditions isn’t to pull you down. Most times they are only there to test your resolve.

No one would love to wish for turbulent times in life, but it will come! And when you see all these unfold before your eyes, then beat your heart and stand strong because there is never a blessing without bleeding, neither a crown without a cross. Tough situations don’t last forever but tough people do!

Be tough today, do not allow yourself to be tossed to and fro by the sea of unwanted conditions… do not ponder about quitting. Stand Strong!

Alone in the Storm?

He knows and watches over you.

It's often normal to feel as if you are all alone in that storm when the turbulence rages and all means of help seem far away. Even when the anchor fails, there is always a way to the shore. Cry if you can, shout if you can... in all, you are never alone.

We often a time tend to see less of what we have around us, and in the process look away and farther away from the point of salvation; this has over time reduced or retard our progress towards our set goals.

Remember even when Jesus was on the cross, most commentators took their time to worry about the whereabouts of Peter, Matthew, etc. and forgetting at the foot of the cross, was John receiving assignments from his Master and Lord.

In the same manner today, we are quick to ask "where are you God" when all seem to fall apart. Your helper is that person close to you; though it may seem vague... you cannot see because you have set your hope far away... but before you conclude your thought at that awkward moment, remember this state...can anything good come out of Nazareth?

Your situation can not cage you down, it may weigh on you today... and when you fall, that's the worst that can happen. While in the storm, take a deep breathe and focus beyond the challenges, for there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

Loyalty!

Loyalty has been the subject of discussion in many setting or institution.

Many relationships have become disjointed as a result of the failure of this attribute not been reciprocated. Irrespective of the know-how, a business or society without some sort of loyalty that is bidirectional won’t survive long as the fiber of a working coexistence is born out true commitment towards whatever binding force that is a function of objective subjection.
