Be sure you can be at the prep/info meeting on Wednesday, July 18 from 5:30-6:30 AND at the car wash to support the backpack brigade on Saturday from 11-4 at the Les Schwab on Mission Street!

We fed as many people at the Easter brunch as we did at our youth auction and everyone had a wonderful time sharing the day over a spectacular brunch! And since our proceeds went to help support the Marion-Polk Food Share, we donated an additional $250 to their program this month!

Thank you to all who generously gave of your time and culinary talents to create such a memorable event. And thank you to all who blessed MPFS and our youth ministry with your spirit of abundance!

Have we got a deal for you!

Our Youth Bake Sale was a HUGE success and now we get to play Santa! Your youth council decided to support the church’s giving tree and buy gifts for those kids. So here’s the plan -

Sunday, Dec. 11 ALL youth (mid and senior) will meet at the front entrance to Target (on Center Street) at 4:30 p.m. You will get a tag and $$ and then go buy a gift(s) for your child! Once we’ve shopped, we will grab dinner at one of the fast-food joints by the mall, so don’t forget to bring some money for your own dinner! Please RSVP!!

(Psst – Adults are welcome to tag along and help play Santa too :-) )

(Psst Psst – Don’t forget: no youth group 12/18, because our Christmas party is 12/22 at Roberta’s! Watch for your invitation in the mail!)

We were able to raise enough money to pay for another week of CHP funding – yay!
