However that has obviously not happened yet! What with buying our first house and working on a massive website that should have been finished a couple of months back, working on this blog hasn't really been top priority. The problem is I never like to do things simply. It would have been so easy to nip over to <a href="http://www.wordpress.org/" class="externalLink">Word Press</a> and <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob%27s_your_uncle" class="externalLink">Bob's your uncle</a>! But, no, I have to build a blogging platform from scratch. Well it kind of works... but it has no facility for comments yet, and wait for it, no ability to show more than one post at a time! Sigh. Well, hopefully it'll be ready soon. I am a bit of a control freek and I like to have full control over every bit of code. That's why I decided to build my own blogging platform. You'll have to forgive these first few posts as they are just to test things.
