IUC had three pollsters in Times Square the past couple days. The pollsters asked a total of 2,866 people who should be the next American Idol Judge. Shock jock Howard Stern was the runaway winner with more than half the vote (1438 votes). The Queen of All Media Perez Hilton was second (568 votes). A surpising close third was another Queen, Dana Elaine Owens better known as Queen Latifah (412 votes). Other stars given prominent mention were Steven Tyler, P.Diddy, The Rock, Pam Anderson, Lil’ Kim, Jim Rome, Fergie, Madonna, Elton John, Kiefer Sutherland, Harry Connick Jr., and Snoop Dogg. Jennifer Lopez, rumored to be close to a deal with Idol, only received one vote.
