The work on these contracts is to to assist SSC’s Operations and Client Services Branch (OCSB) in its objective of enabling service excellence in the delivery of services for SSC’s partners, clients and Canadians, through the establishment of SSC as a client-centric, process-driven, metrics-based service provider.

Through these contracts, IBISKA will provide expertise to SSC’s ITSM teams and to SSC GC partners to support enterprise systems and related GC strategic projects. Skills sets and resource categories required include Application/Software Architect, Programmer/Analysts/Software Developer, System Analyst, Tester, Web Developer, Business Analyst/Consultant, Business Transformation Architect, Courseware Developer, Operations Support Specialist, Technical Writer, Data Conversion Specialist, Technical Architect, IM Architect, Database Modeller, Change Management Consultant, Project Manager/Coordinator and QA Specialist.

Our ITSM focused team is very excited for this great opportunity to continue building our corporate ITSM practice. We look forward to working closely with SSC and the ITSM community in delivering these services to SSC and SSC GC Partners.

• In 2008, IBISKA hired a Sustainability Consultant to assist in developing an analysis of our company’s environmental impact and designed an actionable Sustainability Action Plan.
• In 2023, IBISKA joined the Environment and Climate Change Canada’s (ECCC’s) Net-Zero Challenge and committed to becoming Net-Zero by 2050.
• In 2025, as part of our commitment, IBISKA set year 2035 interim targets for Scope 2 (27%) and Scope 3 (30%) reductions of our baseline GHG emissions.
• These commitments have been documented in IBISKA’s Comprehensive Net-Zero plan, a separate document here.

IBISKA will continue to collect GHG emissions data on a yearly basis, analyze and access our emission trends and make adjustments to our approach, where needed, to maintain and enhance the relevance, completeness, consistency, transparency and accuracy of our data.

The contracts are for an initial 3-year period with 2 additional option years that can be exercised at DND’s discretion. The contracts statement of work aligns with IBISKA’s corporate business focus, and we are thrilled to continue providing these services to DND. 

IT Engineering Services in Support of the Cyber Security Engineering Program (CSEP), WS1 and WS2

Services will support DIMEI in the development of Cyber Security Engineering and Architecture capabilities for DND/CAF in the areas of: Technical Security Guidance, Identity Credential and Access Management, Network Security, Cloud Security, Monitoring and Response, and Security Engineering and Validation.

Our employee, Cathy Loosley, along with her teammates, are a dedicated group of competitive women athletes aged 60+ who have come together to compete in the sport of dragon boat.  The team placed 2^nd at the Canadian Dragon Boat Championships in 2023 enabling them to compete at the 2024 Club Crew World Championship competition in Ravenna Italy. They will be competing against teams from all over the world.  We wish them luck in Italy!

IBISKA was selected by Elections Canada for award of 2 large multi-year contracts: IM/IT Project Management, Enterprise Architecture, Change Management, Risk Management and Quality Assurance services and a multi-year Telecom Systems Specialist professional services contract (each for 3 initial years + 3x 2-year options) with a total value of $19 million.

IBISKA awarded 2 contracts by the Department of National Defence: Sr. Technology Architect services in support of Directorate of Land Command Support Program Management (DLCSPM) for an initial period of 3 years + 3x 1yr option. And IM/IT Architect, System Administrator, PKI, Business Transformation Architect and IT Security assessment services for 7Comm Gp (3 years + 2x 1yr option). Total of $16.5 million value for both contracts.

Great contract wins at Shared Services Canada: 3 large multi year contracts awarded to IBISKA for IM/IT Architecture (ArchTips 4), IT Security Design (SDS) and IT Security Vulnerability (SVS) services for total of $28.4 million.

Onaki-IBISKA JV wins at Shared Services Canada for 3 multi-year contracts totaling to $24.4 million for the contracts initial periods.

Recent award to Onaki-IBISKA JV by the RCMP for Project Management Services. Onaki-IBISKA JV is one of 4 bidders selected by RCMP for this multi-year contract value of $16.28 million with an initial contract period of 3 year + 1 years optional period.

IBISKA and Onaki-IBISKA JV are grateful for having been selected as part of these competitive RFPs. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to provide excellent services to our valued clients.

Today, our office team gave a few hours of our time and some food supplies to make sandwiches at The Mission.  And….  we received so much more in return!  We were given ‘hope’ for a bright future. As long as there are caring people in our great city, willing to share their time, professional skills and their loving energy to lift and support fellow human beings that are going through some very rough times, there is hope for us all.  We were given the gift of being inspired by this great example of “community in action”.

“A great experience!   IBISKA had the opportunity to volunteer as “Sandwich Makers” at the Mission – we assembled over 150 sandwiches as snacks for Mission clients. However, the highlight was the extensive tour we had of the services/facilities (a true learning experience).  We were hugely impressed with the breadth of services offered in a warm and caring environment and moreover, with all the staff both fulltime and volunteers who are so dedicated and passionate about serving those in need. It is a professional and highly efficient organization which treats all their clients with great empathy. We urge you to donate your dollars and/or time to help this amazing organization carry on their amazing work!”

“Before today, if someone had asked me what The Ottawa Mission provided to the Ottawa community, I would have simply said food and shelter for the homeless. While the number of meals the Mission delivers each day is truly amazing (a lot!), what surprised and impressed me the most are the many other services that they provide, including dental and medical services, hospice care, mental health care and a food services training program! It was an honor and privilege to have the opportunity to prepare snacks, tour the amazing buildings, and also meet some of the many caring and committed people who offer warmth, compassion, and hope to those who come through their doors.”
