In this article, I will be showing you how to send a personalise message in iBulky.com v3 with just few steps.

I assume you currently have an account with iBulky.com and you are logged in to follow these steps.

First thing to note:
You need to have the contacts’ details in your address book. This is very important for iBulky to accomplish the personalise process.

Step 1: Select your message type.

Step 2: Input your sender ID in the FROM field.

Step 3: Paste your contacts in the TO field. Note that this numbers must be in your contact address book. The best way to avoid error in this process is to use the address book button and select from the contact listed. If you have your contacts grouped, then you can easily select the grouped contact by using the group button.

Step 4: Select Personalise Message. This is important and lets iBulky identify your message as a personalised one.

Step 5: In the message field, use any of our predefined tags in your message content to get the contact details as described below.

Below is the list of our predefined tags you can use; any exception will make NO replacement.

[NAME] – Contact full name e.g Silas Olatayo
[FNAME] – Contact first name e.g Silas
[LNAME] – Contact last name e.g Olatayo
[MOBILE] – Contact mobile number e.g 8030000001
[MOBILE-C] – Contact mobile number with country code e.g 2348030000001

Registering for the Safetoken enables you carry out transactions on any web merchant site that has integrated to the interswitch Payment gateway using a One Time Password (OTP) as a second level authentication process in addition to your Card Number, PIN and CVV2 code.

Here are the steps required to register for Interswitch Safetoken service.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR SAFETOKEN

– Go to the nearest ATM, and insert your ATM card

– Input your 4-digit PIN and press Enter

– Select your bank account type eg Savingsor Current

– Select the ‘Quickteller’ option from the ATM menu screen

– Select ‘Pay Bills’ from the Quickteller menu list on the ATM screen

– Select ‘Others’ for the bill payment menu option list

– Enter ‘322222’ as the Biller Code

– Enter your Phone Numberas the Customer Reference Number and select ‘Proceed’

– You will get a display “Do you want to make this payment?” Amount Due: N1
DO NOT edit the amount to be paid

– Click on “Pay amount due”

– You will then get a confirmation page indicating the registration was successful

*Note that a surcharge of N100 may be applicable to each successful registration.

USING THE SAFETOKEN SERVICE

Once registration is completed and activated, the Safetoken service is ready for use. Each time you are prompted to input an OTP on a merchant’s website, you will be prompted to send an SMS to “30010” from your registered mobile number and an OTP will be sent to your phone via SMS. You can then enter the OTP received on the web payment page to enable you complete the payment transaction successfully.
