The ThinBlack theme is very elegant and nice-looking: reasonably thin borders, nice-looking windows headers and slim menu. Any dark wallpapers go nicely with with theme.

Brief description:
This is black theme with black and reflective elements, thin borders and small windows headers. Can be suitable for netbooks and small-screen devices. Text in menu is white on black background. The taskbar is grey with gradient reflections. CPU monitor is grey, network monitor - black with white and blue indications of load.

IceGil Grey Theme

Dark and night sky IceWM theme especially good in the evenging.

Brief description:
Menu elements and buttons are in dark-grey with rounded corners. Thin borders and nice window elements look nicely. Both CPU and NET monitors are black with blue and cyan activity colour, respectively.

Bluebox IceWM theme

The Bluebox theme is quite minimalistic and fanboy-style: the theme is almost black with bright blue elements. I don't know whenever such theme is useful at night because it looks agressive, but anyway...

Brief description:
This is black theme with blue elements, its own wallpapers and thick windows headers. Text in menu is bright-blue on black background. The taskbar is totally black with blue letters of windows that are running. Window buttons are just bright blue icons. Unfortunatelly, CPU and network monitors are of default colours: green and yellow/purple respectively. The screenshot looks brutal but someone may like it...

Infadel2 IceWM theme

This is blue-silver minimalistic Icewm theme with fancy windows headers and thin window borders.

Brief description:
Elements of the theme are dark-blue with fading to silver-grey. Text in menu is white on blue and looks very stylish with bullets as marks. The taskbar is blue and all taskbar's elements are dark-blue with stylisation to the same colour. Window buttons are small and with nice icons. CPU and network monitors are stylised and looks as a smooth part of the taskbar.

Linthered IceWM theme

Futuristic multicolour Icewm theme. This is one of the most advanced and "overdone" theme but looks very interesting. This theme is with original wallpapers.

Brief description:
Linthered theme uses its own style that is simpler to show on a screenshot than to describe. Multi-gradient in menu and cool active-menu-item are just in the style of this theme. Window buttons are big and well-designed. Thin window borders think and with nice dark-grey corners.

Blueheart IceWM theme

This is a dark-modern style Icewm theme. Window-buttons are very well stylized and looks very attractive. This theme is especially good when you are working at night.

Elements of the theme are dark-blue and indeed very well painted. Text in menu is grey on blue background; Blueheart theme uses its own icons for the menu items. The taskbar is blue, with white text by default that looks natural for this theme. Window buttons are small and very trendy. Window borders are thin with nice elements around the corners. BerryXP IceWM theme

Windows-alike Icewm theme in light-blue colour with original wallpapers included. Very close to the original Windows theme and uses its own cursors and icons. This theme is especially good for homesick Windows emigrants...

Brief description:
This is large-3-buttons Windows-XP alike theme with Microsoft so-called "classical" style but tweaked and creatively rethought by Martin Fillo. Light-blue elements are with large window headers. Huge buttons are stylized and looks ~~awful~~ as classical Windows. The only well-looking thing is wallpaper. Text in menu is black with light font by default (the background of the menu is gradient). CPU and network monitors are styled: CPU colour is green and net monitor is yellow/green (upload/download).

Bernstein IceWM theme

This is yellow semi-transparent borderless Icewm theme with nice-styled window buttons. Control items in the bernstein theme are yellow and the rest of items are silver-grey. This theme goes nicely with Vladstudio's wallpapers ("Alices adventures in wonderland").

Brief description:
Elements of the theme are golden-yellow with transparent elements such as window's name and spacing between window buttons. Text in menu is black on grey background. Start button (if you use it and have not turned off in preferences) is small and looks like a Tux's head. The silver-grey with well-styled CPU and Net monitors' colour. Borderless window's style are with small dot at bottom-right corner.

708090 IceWM Theme

This is original and slim-style IceWM theme that uses semi-transparency for window's headers and thin borders. Using Vladstudio's "SOS" wallpaper one can make such theme a little bit depressive but nice-looking. Anyway, this theme is compact and modern-alike that you can use when depressive days are coming :-)

Brief description:
Menu elements and buttons are in dark-grey-green colour with square-style composition. Window's headers are semi-transparent, which means that a name of window's header Header of the active window is thicker that border; such trick looks fancy. Thin borders with small stuff on the bottom right corner add some kind of Spartan look.
Both CPU and NET monitors are black with yellow and green activity colour, respectively. So the theme is kinda depressive (especially with the wallpaper) but looks promising.

aquablue IceWM theme

MacOS X like theme: simple, elegant and clear, especially with white wallpapers.

Brief description:
Clean and Mac-like theme with white elements and colourful balls. Nice white theme with blue illumination of the active menu elements or the active task. This theme uses some data from the sortofaqua icewm theme so I have decided to archive them together.

One drawback is that CPU and network monitors are black in the theme's version posted here; but for true macintoshers such things are useless anyway :-)

Aalglatt IceWM theme

Nice-style grey-only theme with lots of buttons by default. It looks more attractive with Vladstudio "Curva" wallpaper that is tonemapped to grey colour.

Brief description:
All of the elements are thin and grey; it appears nicely on laptops. Text in menu is dark-grey on light-grey background, and vice versa for taskbar. Window buttons are small but well-readable. Window borders are 2-3 pixels thin and with nice dark-grey corners.

CPU and network monitors are practically undistinguishable from the taskbar: you can only see them when some CPU/NET activity is detected. Then light-grey bars appear neatly to show the activity.

Overall, Aalglatt IceWM theme is neat and laconic, suitable both for desktop PC and notebooks.

1in1-xp IceWM theme

Microsoft Windows XP-alike theme that duplicates the original quite good. Although some elements as taskbar-hide button are made not accurate, 1in1-xp IceWM theme is good enough for XP-migrants to feel like at home.

Brief description:
All menu elements and buttons are duplicated from WindowsXP very well. The wallpaper is slightly degraded due to cruel JPEG's compression but it is OK. The CPU monitor is green and network monitor is yellow. So, if you like (or need) default WndowsXP desktop look-and-feel - this theme is worth to look at.

Area51 IceWM theme

Dark-blue minimalistic Icewm theme. Some tweaking may be done by changing colour of CPU and Net monitors. This theme is especially good when you are working at night.

aeteria IceWM theme

This is smooth and elegant theme, especially with famous Vladstudio "A flying tree 3" wallpaper.

Brief description:
The taskbar is black, and the rest of elements are dark-green. That is very elegant and especially when CPU and network monitors start working: it looks like those monitors are fading from the darkness.
Aeteria theme is borderless and hence is suitable for portable devices (netbooks or better notebooks).
