Brooke and a group of women from around the US, Costa Rica and possible Peru are going to Uganda and Rwanda in June to conduct 2 Women's Conferences as well as children's ministry and health clinics.

Please pray for their financial provision, travel, the women going and the women being ministered to.

   For me, this past year has been a revolutionary time as I have stepped out and begun to share my testimony of coming to terms with a hidden and painful past. The Lord has used several key people in our lives to breath His truths into practical everyday living. Over the years He has also used us in other people’s lives. Pastor Francisco Reyes, of Calvary Chapel Guatemala City,
set up this seminar in La Bomba. 20-30 pastors were expected to attend. The day before we
arrived, it was reported, as many as 40 pastors would participate. I thought

A couple of months ago I was returning from Uganda &amp; the Lord impressed upon me once again His heart for the poor.    Sea level to 9,000 feet…90º &amp; 90% humidity to 70º &amp; 20%...Belizean inner city youth to Mayan Pastors...those were the extremes of the trip to Belize and Guatemala.

   It was asked of me again this  month, “How do you keep it fresh after doing IBS for so many years?” The people, the surroundings and the fact that it is the Living Word all keep it fresh!

This past month Brooke and I were blessed to spend a couple of weeks with our family in Honduras. Jon, Mare, the girls and Tobias (the Beards) are all doing very well!

   On this trip I wore many hats...carpenter, electrician, horticulturist, agronomist and vet. Oh yes...grandpa, father and pastor as well. Brooke was chief bottle washer and baby sitter.

Every day is potentially full of surprises!

  I did not make it to Costa Rica because the seminars fell through, but as you will read below, the Lord seems to have other plans there.

  My truck had more mechanical problems, but I did get my license plates finally.
