Not long ago, I was talking with a UX designer going over some issues revolving a new app. Along the conversation, the guy made remarks on how testing was superfluous and overrated. Each time he had the chance, he took the shot at saying that interface and software testing just raised the production costs, and how testing could be eliminated by great development. At first I thought it was a joke and didn’t put any attention, but by the third time he mentioned it I just had to ask. And I found out it was no laughing matter to him. You can imagine we don’t work with the guy anymore.

As incredible as it may seem, there are tons of UX design myths in practice out there, and our friend Keith Lang took the task of putting them into the spotlight for the Carsonified blog. Enjoy!.
