Deputies investigate accident near Meridian

According to Ada County deputies, a 64-year-old Boise man driving the car above failed to stop on Ten Mile Road at about 1:15 p.m. Friday and rolled into the intersection at Chinden Boulevard, where it was hit by a truck. Both people inside the truck were wearing seatbelts and were uninjured. The Boise man was not wearing a seatbelt and had to be extricated from the vehicle. He was transported to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. The man's injuries were described as serious but his condition was not immediately available.
