And the first one I got wouldn't tell me her name. I'm just calling her Meek Mischief for she had a meek manner until she tried something. She was curled up in darkness. Even so, she lunged in with an open mouth as if trying to take a bite out of me. But my sentinel guide stood in the way. Then I realized something. It wasn't me she was lunging at, it was my light.

You see, I had just done my affirmations and in them, I summon God's love and light, as is my habit. Meek was attracted to it. I then thought of the light, the light portal to the source, or God, and it appeared. Meek looked at it and gravitated towards it ever so slowly.

I told Meek that it's where heaven is, as well as love and family. And she kept on going more encouraged but still slowly. I asked her why she hadn't gone to the light before. She started to say but then hesitated. I decided to wait. When she was about to enter the light and seemed more enthusiastic, I asked her again why she hadn't gone towards the light earlier. This time she answered and said that she felt unworthy for things she had done. Then I felt her go into the light with much joy.

How much can our perception of ourselves can bog us down? Meek Mischief hung around in darkness and self-condemnation.

People have reported to me of spirits in my workplace. I think I'll look for some another day.

Souls From a Shooting

Trigger Warning: This post talks about the aftermath of a violent incident.

The sad reality of our time is that there are shootings. Recently there was one at a political event and a bystander and the shooter died. There were reportedly several injured and I'm sure they were attended to. But it's the dead I'm concerned about as you my readers are aware of.

I didn't get any names and I didn't draw any pictures this time. I feel like I'm just getting back into the swing of things after a long hiatus.

The bystander was easy. I told them about the light in my usual way. I let them know that's where God is and family. They were accepting and appreciative. And I felt that familiar pink love energy emanating from them as they accepted the presence of the light. So that was a done deal.

The shooter, however, was another story. He had a lot of darkness, like a lot. I did what I usually did and told him about the light, and nothing from him. He was like a stubborn child, you know, the kind with their lower lip out. I noticed that he was sitting in darkness. I asked him if he wanted to be in that darkness. He said he deserved hell. I couldn't argue with that. After all, he did kill a bystander and attempted to kill someone else. I said to remember love and kindness. He said he felt betrayed. I'm going to disappoint you now because I didn't ask about the betrayal. My concern was to get this soul to the light if that was even possible.

So, I did something I don't usually do. I used my intention just to get through to this guy. I told him once more to remember love and kindness and I pushed the message in him, actually all around us. And I I felt a glimmer of light take hold in him. He said he will consider it. Then I left him.

After a while, I came back to him. He was still in the same spot. This time, he would answer me. I asked him will he go to the light. He said where is the light? I was rather perplexed by this. He should have been seeing the light by now. I didn't sense any deception in him. I asked him, how he saw me. He said he saw me as the only light in the area. That concerned me. Was he going to try to jump into me? I could feel his intention as such so I had to do something fast.

I told him the light is from God and it's where you can contact your family from. He seemed to respond to that. I then said that it's full of love, joy, peace. I kept repeating: love, joy, peace. He became mesmerized at my chant. And then something happened .

I felt other beings appear from behind me. They were light beings and weren't human but had what seemed like wings but were of light. There were 3 of them and they surrounded the shooter who didn't move. The shooter smiled weirdly. Then the beings did something strange. They bent over the shooter and then seemingly merged with one another so there were no gaps of darkness but only light. They enveloped the shooter completely. And they became a ball of light. And then the ball became smaller and smaller and disappeared. What happened, you may ask? Well as I try to connect with the shooter, I feet awe and love, so that means he made it to the source.

Now, the Source will deal with any justice issues. I'm not condoning the acts of the shooter. I think shooting people is wrong. I just would like to help souls if I can, no matter who it is or what they have done.

Where have I been?

Hi. It's been a minute, I know. Where have I been? Well, I was trying my hand at doing readings for money when I came across someone who really needed help. So I quit my practice and just dedicated myself to helping this person. This person became a friend. And it's been like 2 and a half years helping my friend and I think she is pretty stable now. Helped her graduate college and helped her dealing with life. Oof, that's a lot.

Now she's in a relationship. I'm happy about that and happy for her.

As for me, I'm doing well. I'm now member of a church. So, I'm not so independent as I was. But it's a progressive Church, actually Reformed Churches of America denomination.

But I'll do some more adventures with the deceased. I started to converse with him. His name was Don and he was a biker. He was in his thirties when he passed. I informed him of the light and how he could have access to his passed loved ones as well as live loved ones through their dreams. He said that he would check it out. He was very casual about the whole thing. He asked about Pat, but I didn't know any Pat, or at least not his Pat. If you think you might be the Pat he's looking for, send me a PM either on Twitter or Reddit.

Mediumistic Practice with Cecil

A few weeks ago I started a practice requesting any willing spirit to practice with me. In this exercise, I tried something new for me. In many questions I asked the spirit, I did in a multiple choice format. I would ask the question and see which answer the spirit would select based on the feeling I would get about the answers. With other questions I interpreted the emotions as I usually do.

So when I detected a presence, I started to ask questions.

I asked for a name.

I initially got Celce, then Cici, and later finally, Cecil.

Market by EC Holm

I asked for gender and posed man or woman. I got man.

I asked living or dead. I got dead. Of course I got dead, but I was making sure. Sort of double checking myself.

Then I asked if he was in the light or not. I got in the light.

Then I was about to ask his age, but I realized that this wouldn't readily work in a multiple choice format.

So I asked are you young, middle, or old? I got middle.

Then to narrow it down, I asked if he was in his 20s, 30s, or 40s? Historically 40 was actually considered old. I had no idea what era this fellow was from. The answer I got was 20s.

Then I asked if he was a student or a worker. I got a worker.

Then I asked if he was white collar or blue collar and I had to explain those terms because I got a perplexing response back. So after a rather lengthy explanation, I got blue collar or laborer.

Then I stopped that line of questioning and asked to be taken on a tour of a day in his life.

I experienced a bustling open air market place by the docks. He was wearing a heavy apron.

Then I lost the connection because I think my brain just got tired out.

So the other day, I reconnected with Cecil in another practice session. I started asking questions where we left off.

I asked him to show me where we left off, at the market.

I smelled fish. I asked, "Do you sell fish?" I used my multiple choice format for some of these questions like this one. He indicated yes.

I asked, "Are you selling fish?" He indicated no.

I asked, "What are you selling this day?" He said, "Meat."

I asked, "Do you own the store?" He indicated no.

Then I asked, "What happens?" He said, "I die."

I said, "Show me."

Then I felt the sadness and the crying. I asked, "Why do you cry, Cecil?"

He said, "She left me."

I asked, "Who?"

He said, "Fiona."

I asked, "How did you die?"

He said, "I hung a ham wrong. I bent over and it dropped on my head breaking my neck. It was pretty quick. An unfortunate accident."

I asked, "Did this happen because you were sad?" He indicated yes.

I asked, "Do you blame Fiona?" He indicated no.

I asked, "What year did this happen?" He indicated the 1930s.

My last question was, "Will you reincarnate?" He indicated yes.

I thanked him for showing me his story.

I found this experience to be rewarding in that I was able to connect and communicate with a spirit that had crossed over. I also got some good detail using the multiple choice format. The problem with this format is that it took a long time and my brain got tired so I lost the connection. That's why I had to do a second session. In all, Cecil was a great sport and very helpful. He was kind to show me his world. I did feel I was at the market in his shoes so to speak.

If you are interested in a reading, check out my Reading Page.

Mediumistic Practice - Coffin Waking

I did a practice session where I opened up and invited any spirit to practice with me. Then I realized I was encased, a coffin.

I felt panic and unsure sensations. "Get out!" was the cry I wanted to say. I couldn't. I sensed a meek and quiet person, a young girl.

She seemed young and scared. I asked her for her name. After some time, I think I got it right, Denise. I asked her to describe something she said a pink broad brimmed hat with a lace wrap.

Denise by EC Holm

I asked her where she was. She named the town. It was a nearby town but not the same one I was in.

I asked if she knew what she died of. She mentioned a disease.

Then she offered some information. She said she could see her parents but that they wouldn't talk to her. I understood that to mean that her parents were still alive. So I asked her how old she was. She said 5 years old. Then I asked if she had any brothers or sisters. She said that she had a brother and it was her and her sister. I sensed that she meant that her siblings were still alive.

I asked her if she could see a bright light. She said yes. I told her that's where love and peace is, and that once there, she would be able to visit her parents in their dreams and talk to them and they to her. She liked that idea.

With that, I called upon her guardian angels and angels from the light to take her to the light. Before I could finish my prayer, she got excited and said, "They're here. They're here." I felt her joy. It's perfect for medium work. Anyway, let me get to my story.

This last Dec 17th, Amelia approached me in the parking lot as I got out of the vehicle. I was on my way to do a round in the building where the souls of the 20 nuns are praying.

She tells me that she was a math tutor at the university and was considering to be a nun novitiate. She said she was from the 1930s era. I think it was around 1933. I forgot to as her how she died. Maybe I didn't want to know.

Amelia by EC Holm

I did ask her why she was outside and not inside the building. She said because the nuns wouldn't let her in like she wasn't one of them. I found that rather weird.

I then suggested crossing over but she wouldn't hear of it. I don't know why. She seemed to have a chatty personality. For several days, I would talk to her, mostly small talk.

On Dec 24th, we talked about her usual spot in the parking lot. There was a fire truck that went to a house across the way but there was no fire. I mentioned to her about the emergency and maybe someone died. Then I talked to her further about crossing over. She seemed to listen.

Tonight, I go to our spot in the parking lot and she's not there. I put out my feelings and found that she crossed over. I'm so proud of her.

The Chapel that Took Me by Surprise

I originally posted the following on my Reddit account.

So I'm a Clairsentient Emotion Empath. I sense emotion and intent. This happened about 3 years ago. I work night shift security at a university. The oldest building is about 100 years old and it has an auditorium in it that used to be a chapel because originally the place was run by nuns.

I would normally do my rounds, no problem. I get used to the creeks and the noises of the old place. I also get used to the feeling of the place too. It has a distinct feeling of scholarly righteousness if you will. Every floor had its distinct personality, but they are all connected, they are all scholarly.

Chapel by EC Holm

Then there's the chapel. The chapel feels different like it's separate from the rest of the building somehow but physically it's not. It bothered me. I wanted to know why.

So, I did what any red-blooded medium would do and dug deeper. I did my breathing, I quieted my brain, and my eye opened up. What I sensed floored me. In the chapel were the souls of around 20 nuns doing what they would normally in life, praying in the pews.

I went in to experience more. My presence obviously disrupted them because I started to get shooshed by them as if I was a playful child interrupting the adults.

I let them be. They were not open to talking to me. Then I came to realize what I was up against. I find it sad that so many souls did not make it to the light even when they had the answer with them in life.

It's been a while since I posted the original post. Since then, I have come to the conclusion that they are fine. They don't seem to bother anyone except me when I enter the chapel and tell me to be quiet. If they are fine with hanging around for years, then I have to be fine with it as well. When and if they are ready to cross over, I will be ready to help.

Simple Psychic Reads

For a long time, I was trying to teach myself the writing business as well as writing. I like writing. I'm just not that great at business. I've come to realize quite a while ago that the writing market requires a writer to not only write profusely but also to market every day. It's a very taxing career. Recently, I fell into my forte, intuition. I started to do readings, psychic readings. There's a demand, and I'm good at it. I know many people think it's a hoax, but people can believe what they want. I don't like to lie, and I don't like to take people's money undeserved. I do like to help people. People go to psychics for various reasons, mainly for a sense of security from an unknown future. So, my website is called Simple Psychic Reads and the address is https://idea1407a.wixsite.com/simplepsycihciread.

I fell into doing readings by doing some self-exploring. On Reddit, I was researching Autism for myself. I knew that being sensitive was part of the autistic spectrum. Being sensitive is also part of being an empath. As this blog attests, I have previously studied if I was an empath and tried some things and found out some things using meditation. Also, in the prior years, I had lost 3 close family members. That opened up or reopened up a segment of intuition I hadn't been using, mediumship. I found myself conversing with my family members and finding closure. So, it was no surprise that I drifted over to the Medium and Psychic communities on Reddit. There I started to interact with people and help them with their issues. I started to do readings. I started to get petitions for formal readings. So, I decided to go for it with a little advisory help from members in those communities. This past January has been a successful first month.

Am I going to keep writing? Well, so far I've decided to write in my spare time which isn't much and put that work out on Wattpad.com. To me, that makes the most sense. So, I will still do readings and grow that little business.

BTW In my website, I added some photos by Anastasia Shuraeva. July 22nd 2015 at night. He died not like he lived his life or I
should say not the way he was treated. He died peacefully. He was
never one to fight back. You see, he was abused verbally and
physically by his father. I really don't know how he dealt with it.
The outcome was that he determined not to treat anyone like that. He
was kind and gentle. He would also listen. He would listen to anyone
who had trouble.

If you looked at him, you would not
conclude that success was a thing he had mastered. He even had doubts
and regrets about his lack of 'success' as we like to commonly define
it. Success, I think, can be measured in many ways. He was never
without friends. He was very successful at making and keeping
friends. I believe it's because he provided them with and openness they
rarely see.

Yes, my brother was a strong person,
but you'd never know it. He was a student of philosophies and
religions. In the end he found his faith, a personal victory by any
measure.

He was the author of a blog called
Homelessness for Stupid People. In it he told of the things he saw and
experienced while homeless. Earlier in life he served in the Coast
Guard. I always remember the incident he had to cover about a ship
that ran aground into the back yard of a lady in Florida, spectacular.
He also worked in the 3D imagery field for a while. The job he enjoyed most was being a Farrier. He loved working with horses. He loved their company, and he loved horse people.

You could always count on him to tell a
good story.

This is my good bye to him and
farewell. I wish him a bon voyage on his travels.

Come with me
Come with me
To the world of your dreams
Where nothing is as it seems.

Where trees talk
And houses balk
And nothing is as it seems.

Whence comes the love
I feel none of it.
Whence comes the hope
I see it not.

Pain is the bitter friend
It will not leave till the end
There is talk but no hope to mend.

But come let us dream
Come let us dream
So nothing is as it seems.

This year is a year of activity. I say that because this is the last year that I have seen when I looked into the future in 2011. It will be a wild year.

So with it I give this advice. Hold to your loved ones close. Hope and love may seem scarce this year, but it's always there to be found. Protect what you have. On the other hand it may prove to be a year of opportunity. I wouldn't jump into anything too hasty. Do your homework.

Well, it has been an interesting adventure looking into the years before they happen and then living through them. There have been some surprises along the way. I guess 2014 caught me by surprise but shouldn't have. Violence erupted, and it gave way to more crime. I have no doubt that yet more violence will come in 2015.

Take care, readers.

The Great Quest

This world will tell you what or who you should be from day one. For the Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) and Empath this is a tragedy. Without knowledge, we HSPs will listen to any idea out there and abide by it just out of sheer loyalty. Self can get lost. Some people feel like they need to forgive themselves. I think they might have gotten their 'self' really lost. It's essential for the HSP to figure out who and what they are so that they can grow and be effective in society.

Its easy to live in someone's reality. We do it as children. We get to live in our parents' reality. We may not get the message that we are to create our own reality. That is, live in our own world and play our own game. It may be a frightening thing to start down that road, but start we inevitably must. Sooner or later we will be without our parents. We may start our own families, careers, hobbies, and preferences. I know of people who have the hardest time taking that step. I recommend to take a deep breath and jump in. Like jumping in a pool, it may feel awful at first but you soon get your bearings.

I realize it's hard to disconnect from parents, mentors, or even friends. If you have a great family life, it is harder to disconnect than if you had a bad family life. If you do come from a great family, being on your own is important to discover yourself and figure out how to better yourself. Sometimes separation is thrusted upon you like entering the military, moving because of a new job, or even a death. In such cases, I think it's important not to latch on to anyone else but to become self sufficient and start planning what you want to do. It's only when your alone can you meditate and figure out your own feelings.

Eventhough you are on your own, your really not alone. Parents, mentors, friends should be a phone or text message away for advice. It's good to listen to your guides. Guides come not only from people in your life, but also from what people say, what papers and blogs write, what books say...etc. I think the most important guide to listen to is the guidance you get when you meditate. You can extend your feelers to the world around you and figure out what it coming. Feelings and premonitions are normal to have. Too often people ignore these. It is good to take these into consideration while you observe the physical world. Of course, one of the most important guide is the plan you laid out for yourself. That is, the things you want in the future.

Why am I encouraging HSPs to be their own person? Well, it's because it took a long time for me to realize that that is the better way. There are groups out there that recruit the unsuspected into their ideology, theology, or 'mission.' These groups are self absorbed manipulative masters. No, the HSP is better off on their own and figuring out how to help people in the world around them. The Quest in this life should be for the betterment of self and community. Do not waste it on someone else's ideals. More often than not, if you do follow someone else they usually are sociopaths. These people have no concern for anyone else but their own goals no matter what it costs others. That's why I give this warning to all HSPs and Empaths.

Suffering

Some say, "If there is a God, why does the child in the wheel chair suffer?" This is an argument against the existence of a creator or god, or whatever you want to call your higher being. The suffering argument is compelling because, I believe, suffering is inherent with life. Life and suffering go hand in hand. How can I say that? Well in the areas of learning, jealousy, and situation, suffering plays huge rolls. These three areas are experienced by everybody to some degree or another.
Teachers will tell you, that it is common to get academic problems wrong before you learn the right way. What happens when you get a math problem wrong in class? You suffer embarrassment and sometimes humiliation. Your suffering becomes a motivator to learn. Some martial arts teachers and gym trainers say where there is no pain, there is no gain. Well, what does the child in the wheel chair do? How does this motivation to learn help him/her? Children are marvelous learning beings. They will learn almost anything you teach them. The child in the wheel chair can learn how to live in the wheel chair or learn to make a better wheelchair. Oh but that may not what you were thinking. You may want the child to live a normal life and able to walk without the wheelchair. Well, let's look at the next point, jealousy.

What do you want? How do you get to the point of wanting it? Jealousy is wanting what others have. It's often accompanied with the idea that you cannot get it. Therefore, you suffer anguish and/or rage. The question often comes up: should you have it? A man may covet another man's wife. That is a classic notion. It's often the case that men lust after many men's wives. Shhh! That's a man's secret. How about being jealous of the rich? That is extremely common. The poor suffer and don't think the rich suffer so they figure money will relieve all suffering. This is not the case. Rich people suffer just like poor people. They pay bills and taxes. They lose money. They have relationship problems. They have problems with their children. They suffer disease. They suffer anguish. They also suffer jealousy. It is very human to want what we cannot have. So the child in the wheel chair also wants to walk like everybody else but cannot. He/She can wallow in jealousy or rise above it. Accepting your situation is important and healthy.

Everybody is in a situation. You cannot escape. You will always be in a situation. The good news is that situations can be changed. Pain is electronic stimuli to your brain indicating that there is something seriously wrong. If we go back to the saying, "no pain, no gain," then were inclined to bear the pain. There are many cultural influences and traditions that may make you bear the pain. Yet, pain is due to a situation. Many times you can change the situation to lesser the pain or get rid of it entirely. Comfort is the opposite of pain. Comfort is also the opposite of suffering. Can the child in the wheelchair change that he/she is in the wheelchair. No, he/she cannot. Can the child in the wheelchair get more comfortable? Yes, he/she can. Change your situation for the better. Even a little change helps a lot. Of course, when there is not change to be had, and you run out of options, you would be enticed to seek the ultimate situation changer: death. Society does not allow this, yet still there are, on average, 30,000 suicides a year in the United States. I believe they represent 30,000 problems we have not been able to resolve yet. These people have not found a solution to their suffering. This is extreme suffering. It's not their fault that they suffered. It's our's, society's, fault that their suffering was not relieved.

Why do people suffer? People suffer whether in great ways or small way. All people suffer. The big lie is that you're the only person suffering. It's not true. More often than not, there is a solution to your suffering if only your willing to accept it. You can learn something new, you can accept your situation, or you can change your situation in one way or another. I believe it is inevitable for physical life to suffer. I believe that life is scarce in this universe. I believe that life is a rebellion against the status quo in this realm. Life is, and therefore life suffers. Life fights against the entropy of thermal dynamics. That's because life is not static. Life wants to propagate life in every aspect of meaning. Helping the poor, healing the sick, fighting injustice, and making babies propagates life. Life is always fighting, therefore life is always suffering in some way. So, going back to the notion that suffering denotes the absence of deity, I say the presence of suffering denotes life fighting something, and the presence of life denotes deity.
cool breeze. Someplace to call your own and where you can be at peace?
Well, we live in the real world where people bother us, lie to us, and
don't often enough seem to improve themselves. For the Highly Sensitive
Person this world is a nightmare of constant bombardment of emotions.
Having a mental place of solitude and safety can help the day to day
debacle. It's a place to go to de-stress when you can't go anywhere else. Let's build ourselves a safe place and fill it with useful
things, and this is how you do it.

Make a building. It can be
a building you know or one you make up. Make sure that it's a building
where you feel love and loved. To help your memory, you can draw it.
Make detailed plans about it. Then, think about the base material with
which you want it built. I like concrete. Its strong and durable.
Large logs are also a good option. The point is that the outer wall
should be for protection from the outer world. Imagine the outer walls. Feel them inside and out. Then lay a reflective shield on the outside. Next, lay a blue inner shield on the inside. Now you have the shell of your home, your fortress of safety.

Now lets populate the place. Think what rooms you will need. I personally opted for a worship room, a library, and an intimate space. You should make rooms where you will spend some time in and use for your own needs. Now visit each room. Put lights in it. Put down a nice floor and wall paneling. Put some furniture you like in it. You should feel comfortable in this fortress of safety. Once your comfortable there, you will want to spend time there.

Sure it's your place and your space, but it doesn't have to be lonely in there. Make characters that though are an extension of yourself, can do tasks for you. I strongly recommend a guardian angel or a bodyguard of some sort. You never know when you might get an unexpected visitor that plans to stay. Bodyguards are good to throw out unwanted guests.

I have always heard that it is good to keep
your house in order. Keeping your mind in order is also good. This
method is a 3 dimensional way of doing that. Since I have started
residing in my house in my mind, I have been more at peace and less
affected by the world around me.

"Discontinue" This Blog (ammended)

I'm discontinuing this blog in favor of my aerospace blog. I will keep it up a few months so people have time to use the info here.
