“Rock That Body” is a song performed by American hip-hop group Black Eyed Peas taken from their multi-platinum selling fifth studio album The E.N.D.
The music video, directed by Rich Lee in January 2010, was shot back to back with the video for “Imma Be”. The two songs share the same music video (called Imma Be Rocking That Body), which is over 10 minutes long. The music video premiered on Vevo, Dipdive and iTunes on Tuesday, 16 February 2010.
After teleporting from the desert in the first half of the video, the Black Eyed Peas and their good robot arrive at a city, the people in the city are stuck on a loop. The 4 members of the group shoot them with their stereo-guns to end their loop so they could continue dancing. As things are going well, the bad robot appears and kidnaps Fergie, will.i.am chases after it with his own robot. After many failed attempts, will.i.am manages to shoot the bad robot, which starts dancing with the good robot, the bad robot runs out of energy and faints. At the end of the video Fergie wakes up on the middle of the road, as Taboo runs for help, Apl.De.Ap dials 911 and Will asks Fergie what happened, she answers “I got the greatest idea for a video”.

Through the contributions of the new voices to this rendition of ‘We Are The World,’ and with the help of our partners, the We Are The World Foundation will be committed to transparency and will help further the spirit of activism that was at the heart of the original song and movement.

Donations are directed to We Are The World Foundation, a non-profit organization. The funds will be directed to worthwhile charities, hand-selected by the board of directors, which include Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie.
The 25th Anniversary recording features over 80 artists and performers. The recording of ‘We Are The World 25 For Haiti’ embodied the same enthusiasm, sense of purpose and generosity as the original recording 25 years ago. Every one of the artists who participated, regardless of genre or generation, walked into the room with their hearts and souls completely open to coming together to help the people of Haiti.

Recorded on February 1st, 2010, in the same studio as the original 25 years earlier (Henson Recording Studios, formerly A&M Recording Studios) the new version, in which Jones and Richie serve as executive producers and producers, was created in collaboration with executive producers Wyclef Jean, Randy Phillips and Peter Tortorici; producers Humberto Gattica and RedOne; co-producers Rickey Minor, Mervyn Warren and Patti Austin; and project producers John Rubey and Adam Fell to benefit the Haitian earthquake relief efforts and the rebuilding of Haiti.

Academy Award-winning writer-director Paul Haggis (Crash, Million Dollar Baby), whose own personal efforts as well as those of Artists for Peace and Justice have already saved countless lives in Haiti, filmed the private recording session to create the accompanying video and “behind-the-scenes” production, and serves as Film Director and as an Executive Producer with Jones, Richie, Jean, Phillips and Tortorici.
The world premiere of ‘We Are The World 25 For Haiti’ will air during NBC’s coverage of the Opening Ceremony of the Vancouver Winter Olympics this Friday, February 12th. We Are the World 25 for Haiti

Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie arranged re-make of the 1985 group song “We Are The World;” the new version titled “We Are the World – 25 for Haiti” was recorded to benefit the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. The new song was recorded on February 1, 2010, the night following the 2010 Grammy Awards. It was recorded at Henson Recording Studios in Hollywood, California.

“Everybody left their ego at the door,” he said, referring to a sign that Jones hung in the studio during the original session on the old A&M Records lot on January 28, 1985.

Richie and Jones recruited 81 performers for the 2010 remake of “We are the World.” Among those who participated are Celine Dion, Pink, the Jonas Brothers, Justin Beiber, Jeff Bridges, Vince Vaughn, Nicole Richie, Will.i.am, Enrique Inglesias, Kid Cudi, India Arie, Carlos Santana, Jordin Sparks, Akon, Usher, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Josh Groban, Jennifer Hudson, LL Cool J, Robin Thick, Barbra Streisand, Miley Cyrus, Kanye West, Mya, Tony Bennett and Haiti activist Wyclef Jean. Jean has his own charitable organization called Yele Haiti.

The We are the World 25 for Haiti video will be produced in 3Dby Paul Haggis and will be broadcast at the during the opening ceremony of the 2010 Winter Olympics.

The original “We Are The World” was a collaboration that benefited USA for Africa. Lionel Richie, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Cyndi Lauper, Michael Jackson and Billy Joel were all featured in the 1985 song.

Snoop Dogg “Gangsta Luv” Ft. The Dream

“Gangsta Luv” is the lead single off Snoop Dogg’s tenth studio album, Malice n Wonderland. It was produced by Tricky Stewart and co-produced by The-Dream, who is also featured in the song. It was released digital at October 6, 2009 as the first official single of “Malice n Wonderland” after the promo single “Snoop Dogg Millionaire”.
The music video (directed by Paul Hunter) premiered on October 21, 2009. DJ Felli Fel makes a cameo appearance in the video. The video was introduced on 106 & Park on October 30, 2009 during a special Halloween episode. The music video shows The-Dream driving a blue Cadillac Low-Rider, and Snoop Dogg as a vampire sit in the back with his appearance and that of the girls around him suddenly changing at various places similar to the Naked Gun films. DJ Felli Fel appears two times as the DJ in the car.

“Halo” is a song recorded and performed by American R&B singer Beyoncé Knowles. It was composed by Ryan Tedder and Evan Bogart. In the United States, the song was released on January 20, 2009 as the album’s fourth single. Halo won Best Song at the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards, and is currently nominated for Record of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the 52nd Grammy Awards.
Knowles performed the song for the television broadcast Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief and it appeared on the live album.
Billboard magazine wrote that “On “Halo” Beyoncé sings in a lower register than usual over big drums and an epic piano pattern…’Halo’ has a mainstream pop sound, with subtle R&B undertones that should carry it to the top of the charts.

The video premiered exclusively on iTunes on December 23, simultaneously with the music video for “Diva“. The music video was shot in late November and was directed by Philip Andelman. It features actor Michael Ealy as Knowles’ love interest and unlike the first three music videos from the album, which were shot in black and white, “Halo” is the first video to be shot fully in color.
