Comment: @ Prakash and @ Patrick. IBM's has kludged HTTP support for TLS by providing an option to add the IBM HTTP server (see here: { Link }

HOWEVER, that does not add full TLS support for other protocols (SMTP, LDAP, SMTP, POP3, SMTP, IMAP, SMTP, etc).

Comment: If you really want FULL/REAL TLS over SMTP support in Domino, call in to IBM support and get them to create a PMR and add it to "APAR LO67453 SPR #YDEN8RNH22 for Enhancement ".

Comment: I don't know of any problem pertaining to duplicate subfolder names. Can you please elaborate? Also, most of those punctuation symbols aren't a problem as far as I know, though _ / \ | are, and also ( if it's the first character. Those symbols I agree we should prevent through validation, but if there are problems caused by the other punctuation you list, can you please spell them out?

Call a common WQS, that itself looks up into a systemwide keywords db to know what WQS agent to run for a given db/form combo

Comment: We implemented this by adding some script in the AdminP Deletion Approval button. When a Notes Admin pressed the button to approve the mail file deletion requests, the code searched for the archive mail file and submitted a deletion request for the Archive Mail file. So that we have a record for the deletion and adminp handles everything.

Comment: "trigger a script whenever a design element is updated in designer." You are perhaps thinking of when a document is saved in Notes, postsave can be triggered. When you save a design element in designer, no event is triggered. There is no hook.

Comment: We already did that by adding a smart icon/button(with the formula @Command( [AdminRemoteConsole] )) on the toolbar in the Notes Client. It's been working for years.

Comment: What I find interesting is that you want to workspace to be more like the iPhone interface and it IS. IRIS/Lotus was ahead of its time with "Chicklets" (Icons) on the workspace that updated somewhat in real time.
