Hi all I recently got this lovely gem by email. This is a beautiful tattoo on a reader named Michelle and the amazing tattoo is done by Frank Gonzalez. I love the blue in the background, pretty much my favorite part aside from the birdie. What do you all think...a beauty right?!?

Something New: Fashion

2013-01-06T21:53:00.001-05:00

So I have been trying to do something new. Trying a new angle in the design world. I have been dabbling in fashion and making dresses so far so good. I have made four dresses and two skirt and a top so far. They are not perfect but for my first couple of tries in the whole no pattern from scratch dress making thing it was ok. I know I have been hard core neglecting this blog but I have been trying to get my stuff together and figure out what I want to do with my life. Architecture seems to not be working out right now so I needed a change of pace. Forgive the absence and bare with me for a little longer. Perhaps I will keep you up to speed with my designs. Here are the dresses that i have make so far. The purple one I didn't get a picture of the final product I gave it to my sister for Christmas.

I have decided that for the month of October I will do a Halloween post every week so there will be 4 posts in total and this is the first one yay! I think the first one should start off with decoration and the cool things that i have collected on pinterest for this oh so special month. Okay okay enough talk here come the decorations! Have fun perusing and let me know what you think...Did I forget or overlook something wicked awesome???

Art is my love

2012-06-22T22:05:00.003-04:00

I LOVE ART!!!! I have always had a fierce passion for art in all forms. But I have always loved photography. However, I have never really been fantastic at it or even mediocre at best. I have four different cameras I would have five but my digital camera got stolen. But I have to say my favorite part about photography is the process that the film goes through when you do it yourself. I took a photography class in high school and my favorite part was the development of the film and pictures. I don't know why but i think that is the most personal and perhaps even intimate part of photography(that's just my opinion). I really wish that I stuck with it longer it really is a wonderful form of expression and art. But I'm babbling and I am pretty sure you just want to see pictures haha. So enough of my life here are some new amazing, fantastic, and skillfully taken photos that I have come across that make me drool enjoy.

Esty Open!

2012-06-12T08:55:00.002-04:00

So I have decided that i am going to start selling more then just my art online. I'm not sure how this is going to turn out but I am hopeful. Right now i have only one thing to sell haha but it will grow I promise. Well I'm pretty much promising myself for more to come but really it's more of a motivational speech to myself. But I am going to start making some jewelry mostly rings I think. Well anyway here's the link if you want to keep an eye out for new things but i have also added a button under my society6 page button.

Museum Visit

2012-05-18T13:48:00.002-04:00

Today was a good day. I'm sorry about the no tatttoo monday post this week but I had finals and that took up all my time. But now that school has come to an end for the summer I have a lot more free time. I hope to pick up the blogging I plan on doing a lot this summer I need to fill my time well. Today was a perfect day to start off the summer fun. I had an interview this morning and I think that it went well. But after that i went to my favorite place in Boston (My sanctuary) the MFA (Museum of Fine Arts). That place is the most magical place in for me anyway. There was a lot of new stuff there and I had so much fun walking around and getting some inspiration. Next is a trip to the beach with the best friend. here are some images from the MFA that I was take away with...

I love Stained Glass windows.

This was probably one of the best parts about the visit. There is a place where you can watch a painting get restored. It was fasinating and wonderful!!!

This was so great a woman beheaded a man. go girl power hahaha

This was hanging on the wall about 7 feet high. Its a depiction of Lilith Adam's first wife. The placement was pretty amazing. it really felt like she climed up the wall and is about to pounce on you.

Beaded curtain to go into another gallery.

Another favorite portion of the museum was the fabric and fashion room. The room was filled with all fashion illustrations. They were all so beautiful!
