There are a lot of things that you will need to learn if you want to be able to attract men. Some things will require you to change the way that you are, while other things will give you the chance to change yourself. Learn these tips and get your man with these simple tricks.

Always be yourself. Don’t become someone else when you want to attract a man. You might not be all that gorgeous, but you have the inner beauty to attract any man. If you ever try to be someone else and seduce your way into a man’s life, then you will never succeed in getting him to take notice of you. When it looked like this allegation would just be swept under the rug due to no woman coming forward, Christine Blasey Ford did one of the bravest things ever by coming forward to tell her story. And for that, she is a true hero.

It started with a private interview that broke the news. With that one interview, she immediately was put into the national spotlight, since Kavanaugh’s’ confirmation hearing was already a highly polarizing process before the allegation arose.

And with that spotlight came attacks from the Right. People accusing her of being a liar and a political hack. People threatening the safety of not only herself but of her family as well. And people who just called her terrible names in general, simply because she was getting in the way of Kavanaugh’s confirmation, which was otherwise going relatively smoothly.

Then came the public testimony that Christine agreed to conducting with the Judicial Senate Committee. And instead of being a private hearing, it was broadcast live for the whole country to see. Although she volunteered to tell her story, it was still a very difficult thing to do, especially since Brett Kavanaugh was waiting in the wings to tell his side of the story immediately after her. Not to mention that going on live television put a face to the name that was all over the news already.

Christine Blasey Ford sacrificed everything to tell the truth. It couldn’t have been any easier, that’s for sure. But despite all the adversity that she faced, she persevered and stood up for herself and other victims that may have otherwise been unable to speak out against sexual assault on their own.

In fact, after she revealed herself to the world, many other people came out with allegations of sexual assault, not only against Brett Kavanaugh himself, but against other people in all other walks of life. She in essence re-ignited the “Me Too” movement and gave it new life.

Now unless you are living under a rock, you are well aware that Brett Kavanaugh was still ultimately confirmed to the Supreme Court. But that doesn’t diminish what Christine Blasey Ford did. In fact, it makes her actions even more powerful, knowing very well that her testimony could have ended up changing nothing with regards to Kavanaugh’s nomination.

But she knew it was more about her. It was about opening a dialogue about sexual assault when the country needed it most. In that sense, she is quite literally a role model for any women who has been sexually assaulted and needs the strength to come forward and out their accusers. Because if Christine Blasey Ford could do it in front of the entire country, women just like her know that they can do the same on a much smaller (less public) scale.

First of all, there is nothing wrong with a woman wanting to feel good sexually. Men do it all the time (or at least they try to), and they do not get any sort of backlash that women except for in extreme cases where men are being complete jerks to women and taking advantage of multiple women in succession. Even that though is criminally overlooked when compared to a woman sleeping with even just a single guy that she isn’t actively dating.

Once women realize that there is nothing wrong with wanting to have sex and enjoy all of the many pleasures that we are allotted as human beings, then it becomes a matter of putting it all into action. Releasing yourself and unleashing your sexuality is something that should be done by all women.

She is so amazingly successful that she is a true icon in the music industry, with just about everyone around the world knowing her name and her career accolades. What I love most about her is that she is just as successful as any other man in the music industry, which is hard to say for a lot of women artists who are often viewed as being less prominent than their male counterparts.

Not only is being a woman and having the success that Beyoncé has so amazing, but the fact that she is also a black woman doing all of this is just mind-blowing to me. The black cultural flair she adds to most of her music is so great for the black community, which is something we need a lot more of in today’s society.

While I’m at it, I’ll just say that I was so upset when Adele won Album of the Year at the 2017 Grammys over Beyoncé and her “Lemonade” album. That was truly a travesty, and only further shows how the music industry (and Hollywood in general) are so biased towards white people. But despite all of that adversity, Beyoncé still makes an amazing name for herself and the black community that she represents, not to mention women everywhere as well.

Beyoncé is also great for who she married. Jay-Z is a successful music producer, although he is arguably not that attractive. However, Beyoncé married him for love and not for superficial attributes associated with him. That takes a lot of guts, especially for someone as prominent as Beyoncé.

Keep in mind that she could have had just about anyone she wanted, but she chose Jay-Z (this is not to say that Jay-Z is a bad choice, but there were definitely “better” options out there). I totally respect Beyoncé for that, and it inspires me to find someone I truly love, and to marry them rather than someone else for other superficial reasons.

When it all comes down to it, the way Beyoncé holds herself, not only in the music industry and her professional life, but also in her personal life, is the way that I want to live. And that is the case for just about every other woman in the world who knows anything about Beyoncé.

I truly believe she is the epitome of perfect, because there is literally nothing that she does that can be viewed as negative. No negative press, no family issues, and simply nothing to make you think badly of her. If you have daughters, of any age, and of any ethnicity, you would be wise to use Beyoncé as a role model. Your daughter will grow up to be a hardworking, good and kind individual who values family, just like the Queen Bee herself!

But what definitely made the movie a smash-hit was the acting done by Gal Gadot, who played the iconic Wonder Woman. She displayed power, independence and bravery in a way that is typically reserved for male roles. And for that reason alone, she is a role model for women everywhere.

From the very beginning of the movie, Gal conveyed true bravery. And yes, that was in part because she was an Amazonian warrior, of which all were supposedly brave. But she in particular was a cut above the rest and that showed throughout her training when she was younger and being trained by Robin Wright (I forget her character’s actual name, and it really doesn’t matter haha)

And even when the man came into her life (played by Chris Pine), she never changed and became weak at the knees just because a cute guy came into her life. Although there was a clear romance brewing between the two of them, it never dominated the storylines like many other movies that feature women as the antagonists do. Her persona remained a strong, independent woman throughout the entire movie, which was absolutely refreshing and definitely something that all young girls need to see.

Wonder Woman in general is also a hero, first and foremost, and that point was clearly made in the movie. She was at the forefront of every action scene and clearly displayed her strength and combat prowess, which was so amazing to see. And what I loved about it all was that she looked absolutely fantastic while doing it!

Gal is such a beautiful woman, and her outfit for Wonder Woman only made her look even more beautiful. Her outfit was absolutely sexy and it’s honestly something I would wear on a regular basis if I could. It showed off her slim frame, and her beautiful legs and arms, not to mention her headpiece that accentuated her gorgeous facial features and her beautiful black hair.

And even with her banging outfit, she was still able to come across as strong and a real hero. Being able to portray typically feminine attributes along with typically masculine attributes was what really made her stand out. Her role as Wonder Woman most definitely showed all the young girls out there that they can be beautiful and feminine, while still being awesome at activities that are typically male-oriented.

Young girls who see Wonder Woman and the acting of Gal Gadot are more confident to succeed in their careers, even if their careers may be male-dominated in general. And they can still be beautiful and sexy women while killing it in their professional lives. For this reason, Gal Gadot is truly an excellent role model for young girls. If the young women in your life haven’t seen Wonder Woman yet, they definitely should right away!

For young girls, it is important to empower them and ensure that they realize that they will often be treated differently in life simply because they are women. For example, they will often be objectified when they get older, with many people just seeing them as trophies for men to obtain, either by sleeping with them or by marrying them.

Or women will have a harder time finding jobs that they really love, simply because they will be given to men over them for no good reason. And even if they do get a great job that they love, they will be hamstrung by the fact that their pay will be less than their male counterparts.

Or in the very worst case, the young women in your life may eventually encounter a situation in which they are sexually assaulted, either by a stranger, a co-worker or even someone they love. In fact, there is a very good chance that this will happen to them multiple times throughout their lives, to varying degrees.

As you can see, women have it quite hard in life, despite living in one of the greatest countries in the world. With all of this hardship, it is very easy for young girls to lose hope as soon as they realize this fact of life. But rather than let them succumb to the hopelessness of the situation, instill confidence in themselves and inspire them that they can overcome said obstacles in life.

The best way to do this is to have great role models for your daughters or nieces or whoever it may be to look up to. These role models are often famous women whom your daughters are exposed to on a regular basis. Every time they see these women doing great things, in spite of all the challenges they face by being a woman, it will inspire them that they can rise up and be amazing women now and also in the future.

But don’t forget – as great as famous women can be as role models; no woman is as great of a role model for the young women in your life than you yourself. Because the young women in your life know you personally and see you on a regular basis, you are much more impressionable on them then famous women who they only know through Facebook or the news. So no matter how many positive role models you introduce into the lives of the young women you care about, keep in mind that you need to be just as much of a role model yourself, if not more so.

If you brush his compliment off and don’t acknowledge the man’s advance, there is always the possibility that he goes on his merry way and takes his loses for the day. However, times have changed and a lot of times these flirtatious lines are just precursors to more aggressive and ultimately unwanted advances.

I can recount multiple times when I have either ignored the man or said that I had a boyfriend (even if I didn’t), hoping he would just leave. But instead, the man would start being confrontational and asking why I didn’t like him, even though I didn’t even know him whatsoever. And even if the man eventually left after a few seconds (or minutes) of aggressive dialogue, he still assaulted me with his words and the intentions behind those words.

And that is still just scratching the surface when it comes to sexual assault. Sometimes men take it even farther and start touching women inappropriately. This is particularly prevalent in the workforce where women almost feel forced to allow touching by their bosses or other coworkers, simply because they fear the repercussions if they refuse.

But even if you are touched inappropriately as just described, keep in mind that such sexual assault isn’t even the worst kind. There are numerous women around the country who have been raped, which is just about the worst kind of sexual assault out there. And the saddest part about it is that it can come from all sorts of men.

They may be strangers who you meet at a bar and unsuspectingly go home with (or in worse cases they may even drug you so wake up in his bed with no recollection of being raped at all). Or your boss who is making you have sex to keep your job (or suggesting that it is the only way for you to get a promotion). Or in the very worst of the worst cases, it may be someone from your own family who is raping you. Whether it be an uncle, your brother, or your own father, being raped by your family member is so terrible because there is an added emotional trauma that comes along with it.

Keep in mind that sexual assault in any form is absolutely disgusting and should not be tolerated by anyone.  If you are sexually assaulted, it is important that you talk about it with someone close to you and someone that you can absolutely trust with this sensitive information. They will be your support system that you need. And perhaps the most important thing to do is to disclose the sexual assault to an official when you are ready. Coming forward in this way may be difficult, but you will be better off in the long run.

Even male vs. female is a legitimately important demographic, especially considering how much sexism there is in the world today, indicating that women objectively have it harder in life than men for various reasons. But an important demographic combines both sexual orientation and gender. We are of course talking about transgender people, and in particular, transgender women.

Transgender women are people who were born as biological males but have since realized that they are women on the inside. They have become quite prominent thanks to the emergence Caitlyn Jenner (formerly known as Bruce Jenner), and today, transgender people are properly recognized as a member of the LGBTQ community.

However, unlike being lesbian, gay or bisexual, transgender people have it worse off. For one, the confusion of who you are sexually attracted to is nothing like the confusion of who you are as a person. Think about it – if every day you look down at your genitals that you were born with and think something is wrong, that is going to be a huge thing to deal with on a constant basis, and something that you can’t escape from your thoughts, no matter how hard you try.

This confusion also typically lasts longer than the confusion of not being heterosexual. While most people realize what being homosexual or bisexual is in their early high school years (if not early) and have seen at least a few of their peers coming out of the closet, transgender people typically don’t know how to interpret their confused feelings until they are well into adulthood.

This is just how it is in today’s society. Because homosexuality is more well-known and more widely accepted than transgenderism, people who are transgender may know what they really are, and in fact may confuse their transgender nature as just being homosexual or bisexual to some degree, which only makes things harder to clarify as they get older.

Now once a person has identified themselves as a transgender woman (i.e. born as a biological male), it is now twice as difficult because you are dealing with all the difficulties of being transgender along with identifying yourself as a women, which comes with its own set of obstacles that all biological women are already facing on a daily basis.

So as much as you may feel like you are oppressed as a typical woman in American society, keep in mind that transgender women have it a whole lot worse. They need to essentially take on two separate sets of demographics, each with their own distinct obstacles, and take them on as a single person. It is definitely something that deserves our sympathy, not only as biological women, but as compassionate people in general.

There was one woman on stage during a presentation, but she was there of her own accord to provide double entendres and eye candy for her boyfriend’s presentation. The only other female to grace the stage was a burlesque performer who carried out the speaker name placards and ran the free-drink raffle between talks. She and some of the other performers are friends with the conference organizers, but in this instance they were there working as paid entertainment. 

So by 10pm it was time for the show, which was advertised an official conference event. Because of the lack of female presenters, the show would provide the only representation women would have onstage during the conference. Admission to the con got you admission to the show, which was held on the same stage as the talks, under the same sponsor signs.  All the performers were conventionally attractive women.

Throughout the day I asked friends how they felt about the inclusion of a burlesque show at a tech con. I heard the same unanimous sentiment: More women present as attendees and speakers would be awesome. More women should be in the industry, period. But they’re not here now, so we might as well have a little fun. It’s always been like this. It’s like… a tradition. Larger conferences are “work” events, so it’s ok that their guidelines for behavior are more strict. This is a “fun” event, so a few naked ladies on stage are ok. I mean look around, there aren’t more than 8 women here anyway. How can women be affected by an event which they’re not even attending?

By the time the show was about to start, I decided to leave. I stopped having fun and started thinking about how I have three more cons in the next two months where I can probably relive this same experience. As I walked out, I ran into the con organizer. I told him I had to “boycott this burlesque thing,” and he threw up his hands and said, “Hey, you have a point.” With all the beer flowing by then, I don’t really think the exchange meant anything one way or the other.

Over the past decade it’s become generally understood that behavior and entertainment like what happened at SummerCon e are likely to cause you negative public backlash. Objectifying women isn’t generally tolerated at corporate sponsored events. Hell, the grugq’s Barcon party last year at Black Hat didn’t even have sexy cocktail waitresses.

This was also not the most personally offensive experience I’ve had at a conference. In fact, I was not “offended” at all. Naked ladies don’t offend me. However, putting sexy ladies on a pedestal to be stared  at by a group of exclusively men creates an asymmetrical gender dynamic which is not appropriate for a quasi-industry, corporate sponsored event. The near universal refusal to recognize that ranks as the most frustrating sentiment I’ve personally heard come from the professional folks and community leaders I consider my friends. It’s been said that lawfulness is what you do when you think you may get caught, ethics are the choices you make when you know you won’t. I respect and adore many of you, and on this one you disappointed me.  Saying “It could be worse” is not sufficient. We can do better.

I am more interested in talking about what happened after her career took off. Miley started becoming relatively unruly. At first people thought it was just her breaking away from her Disney image, but it started to get worse, even more so than other former Disney stars. She started becoming really slutty and reportedly doing drugs (or at the very least drinking).

Her music concerts were no longer wholesome and no longer intended for young girls, but rather for more mature audiences, given the fact that she now wore skimpy outfits (including flesh colored jumpsuits) and was dancing quite provocatively on stage. I’m sure nobody has forgotten how much Miley was into “twerking”, which is just about as sexual of a dance move as there is.

She even cut her hair extremely short and dyed it blonde, making a marked separation from her old “good girl” image when she had long flowing brown hair. And even though she seemed to have found love with Liam Hemsworth, whom she met on the set of their movie The Last Song, they broke up before officially tying the knot. Liam sure seemed like he was doing everything to support Miley, but in the end Miley’s behavior and attitude seemed to be too much. In short, Miley had gone off the deep end.

But what makes her a role model is not how she so prominently fell from grace, but how she bounced back. It started with her taking a backseat to the national spotlight, which is often hard to do for famous people. She kept herself out of the news and focused on herself first and foremost. She seemed to become sober, in all senses of the word and slowly began making her way back into the Hollywood scene, and she looked better than ever.

Her hair was long and flowing again, which made me so happy, knowing that she was back to her old self – not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. And the culmination of her transformation back to a healthy woman was getting back with Liam Hemsworth and ultimately getting married in December 2018.

Although Miley took a turn for the worst, she stuck through it and changed her life for the better. And that is precisely what every woman should look to emulate in their own lives. Life is not easy, and things happen that send us off track, whether it be health problems, family problems or both. Whatever happens in life, it is so important to fight back and make things good again for yourself, in precisely the same way that Miley accomplished it.
