Sunset in the place I work

It's been age since my last post. Guess my life is too busy to write a post? nope!. Just couldn't find a mood to do that. I think I need to meet a mood-therapist and discuss my qualification further. lol. Life's good, most of things runs as expected, sometimes more than I expected. Feels excitement in the work-zone, there are new people, new friends, new challenge, and new opportunity (I wish!). My company seems to open so many vacancies nowadays, guess not too much if I wish to be a part of it in near-future.

I have met several persons from various countries, some leaving a good impression and words to remember. Some just oh-people-I've-met impression. I agree with one of them said about "Always being positive and keep open minded", these words is just a word and normal one. But I always keep that in mind before judging people or put some negativity.

Some made me realize that my country is not the only one (in bad things lol). Most of countries has corruption right? that I didn't know before. I thought it's only my country here. But the different is the other rich/developing country, they do legal robbery as they called it. And the corruption part is mostly in high level government politician or such, same here. But here I think "start from the small fish to the big fish". Start from the parking lot to the black tie. Yeah, some people want make things easy because the have money right? so they just pay for whatever they want in dispensation. The receiver surely be happy for additional income right? so I don't know how it will ends. Let the related party think about it. Why am I even talk about it, boring. As boring as when people start to compare the religion in fact that they don't believe any of it.

One friend of mine said that they will follow a religion who will give them a acceptable reason how this or that exist. It doesn't work that way my friend. It's like questioning why the sun and earth even exist. Oh, still.. boring.

So now I love this country. Also I love my life my big families, my job, my present, my future, everything I have. I have no reason not to and keep thanking what we have will help.

I heard once on TV that what we say each day, the universe will give us eventually. So, for me no more moaning status on social media, no more sad stuff things, only a good thing. Because I want a good thing everyday. Yeaay!!!

My husband always said that we need to prepare for the worst. I can NOT agree with that. For me that means that we expect the worst right? Nope. I prefer to "we need to expect for the best", you know logically if you expect the best, you still can second best, but if you expect the worst? you will get second worst or third right? So better expect a good one. Ah, that's why he has me right? to make our life balance.

Back to the job, what I don't like most is the silence. I call the silence when I have not much things to do, no excitement. But when you have a lot of things to do, there are challenges you need to control, things you need to finish, and when you're successfully doing that, you can feel it, the self satisfaction, the excitement, fascination.

Anyway my son won another competition in elementary schools contest (about 15 schools). This is the second time since he start his very fist school last July 2012. So proud of him. Yeayness!

Good Things are Happening Today!

Today is a normal typical Friday: warm morning, hot day and surprisingly mist afternoon. Yes, after a hot sunny day, it's now clement as rains drop to this earth.

I still love listening to Taylor Swift's "Enchanted" while my first son start singing "we are young" from Fun. And well, my second sun which is 2 years young is now starting to sing "Eaaa" by local boy band Cowboy Junior. They're literally boys, little boys. He sang it with her learn-to-talk style. Cute thing.

"What makes me happy" list now:

I accompanied my friend went to theater watching... yes, Breaking Dawn again. But still love it. My friend even slept there in boring-ness. But I kept enjoying it even sleepy too. We both tired actually.
My hubby helped me again yesterday on doing house stuff. Yeaayy!
Prepared my boy to school is always made me happy, even if I was in rush rush rush to go to work.
Today we have lunch together. Me, Debbie, Vera and Hubby. Friday has long lunch time break so we went to nearer food court to have some lunch and continue with coffee. We need to do it every Friday, yes girls?. Apparently another friends could not join us, but we have a good time though.
I randomly open LinkedIn and found my old friend Ocha, added her to Skype and have a little chat (well, it was quit long actually), happy for her and her successful. Wish all the best for her.

Always expecting a good day everyday and always have happy things to face each day. What is your best moment today?

Romance Coloring Your Days

Have you watch the Breaking Dawn Part 2? It was rumored that the endings on the film would be different from the novel but yeah, in fact the ending is so so so similar with the book.
The movie is just the visualization of the novel itself, that's it. But I still watched it though. At least I have a good quality time with my loved one. You know, like "Romance coloring your day", so it's necessary to have time together with him *wink*.

Things That Make Me Happy Today

Inspired by my favorite blogger Diana Rikasari, I thought that it's a good idea to write little things that make us happy everyday. Just to thankful for every single things in our life. I will do so, she noting it on a book but since I never able to bring notebook anywhere, so I will just write down on my phone note before re-write it here.

As a mom, being with my children is the most happiest thing for me (sometimes, haha) yes, but I do need times for my self as well. But still, hand-fed them and saw them messing the house has always amusing me and it makes me happy. Yes, of course at the end I'm the one who tidy up the house again and again.

Funny and happy thing about kids are normally updated on my Facebook and Twitter, so I will just put here what are happening to me during the whole day that makes me happy :) (apart from the kids).

Today's things that make me happy:

I watched Vampire Diaries Season 4 Episode 6 and so happy that finally Elena admit her feelings for Damon (yeah, drama)
I finally have a mood to post on this personal blog...
I gave food to cat (since I don't like cat or any other pets)
It was raining today and the clement weather always makes me happy

I think that's all today. I think today is a posting marathon haha 3 post in a row. Who cares? I rule this blog haha... Thanks for reading anyway... :)

Taylor Swift 'Enchanted' Me

Who doesn't know Taylor Swift; beautiful talented country singer that is now her singles are running around the Billboard chart. Yes, I was like 8 years late?. I thought that Taylor Swift was just a regular singer who sang people song and get famous, but the first time I listen to her song (like month ago?? I know I was out to date) and get to know her lyrics and get to know that she wrote the song moreover her song made from her personal life is just enchanted me.. Yes, all I can say I was enchanted to meet her, okay it was exaggerating...

The very first song I knew from her album is Back to December. You know back in high school, I always wrote what I feel into some words kind of lyrics but I didn't play guitar or else so my lyrics-kind-of-words remain just words in an old book. But this girl is just so talented and of course lucky that she could write her feelings and make it as a song that most of them beautiful. Back to December lyrics too deep to sweet and dark, well at least for me. I feel like it was me when I listen to the song.

But today I want to talk about her single from last year album called "Enchanted". It revealed that she wrote the song about the guy he met once and get her think about him whole night. This is what she said about the song :

I wrote "Enchanted" about a guy who I was enchanted to meet, obviously. He was somebody that I had talked to a couple of times on email, and then I was in New York and went to meet him.

I remember just the whole way home thinking, "I hope he's not in love with somebody." It was just wonderful, that feeling. Like, "Oh my gosh. Who's he with? Does he like me? Does he like somebody else? What does it mean?" I got home and he had emailed me and said something like, "Sorry I was so quiet. I was just wonderstruck meeting you." I think he did actually LOVE Taylor. But yes, he should have tried harder like create a song instead of a cover song maybe?. But maybe since Taylor didn't say anything about the song, looks like the song and the note which published on Valentines Day 2011 was being deleted from both Adam's blog and Owl City's website.

Life is not a fairy tale: true. But life is about choices, we choose how we want to live our life, it could be by live it like a fairy tale. As long as it makes your life colorful.

Someone give us flower is sweet, too sweet (well, last time I check I received flower in high school, and plastic, ewww) but it sweet, being inspiration for someone to create a song for you is amazing!

I wonder why some people think I took commission from people I help to get their job/business?. I might be stupid not taking advantage to get fee when I could, but I'm not that greedy, not greedy enough to do that. I don't bother to clarify to people that I'm not like that. When people ask do I get fee from this or that? I just said "no". All people needs money, so do I. But I'd rather get it by working or other efforts. Even I'm now so open hand for bonus though :). Specially Hari Raya Bonus!!! (THR). Have you got one?...

Since we almost there, please forgive all what I said wrong and all of my mistakes ;) let's back to fitrah. Enjoy your holiday!

Woman Love Surprises

There's nothing easy in relationship. The bond between two person or more is different in both side's way of thinking. Twins could share allergic not characteristic. Couple could share love but not the feeling.

Every individual has their own unique thinking (if you're not agree we call it 'selfish thinking'). Some people sometimes so naive that they're expecting their partner/spouse to understand what are in their hearts. The fact that only their selves and God could know what are in their brain. Even Angels (if you believe in Angel like me), as you know they don't know what are you thinking about.

Simple sample when a woman wants her spouse to decide something for her like birthday gift or other simple thing, what they probably need is a simple gift from person they loved, whatever it's, she wants what he thinks she wants. How confusing! but it's true. Sometimes woman just want to leave that simple thing for him to decide, not to ask, but guess.

This could be difficult because sometimes a man want to make his woman happy and give exactly what she want. This simple thing could make things pretty difficult. So guys, decide! Either if you're woman tell him what you want. Or if you're a man, please just give her what she need because sometimes woman has no idea what she wants.

For me personally, I'd prefer a surprise result. Sometimes disappointing but I'd take a risk. (It's better than if he ask me 'what do you want on your birthday?').

I'm now in Singapore for... of course work... and stay in the beautiful ancient house. Will get the photo as soon as I have time and hopefully will get permission to post it. I'd rather here than in hotel, haha.

Miss the boys already, the little one said "I want mamah... I want to be with mamah..." before he slept but good thing he slept earlier as normally he could not sleep without breast-feeding. My boy is growing up now. Love you boys and see you soon...

This is my new novel collection arrived last week. Apart from Vampire world novel, I love fiction-romance-drama novel. Novel is my favorite book as lesson book will only get me sleepy to read it. I know, but I enjoy reading novel. Betrayal is intriguing story, yet breath taking. I always love Danielle Steel novel.

Review:

Once I read the first Chapter, I could not stop feel curious till I read the second chapter, once I read the second, I want more and more. By no means to exaggerating my feeling but I have read numerous of her novel and always felt that way.

Betrayal is about betraying not only love life but also a trust and friendship. The hardest thing is when someone closest to your face who betray you. I guess that's why it's more painful, being betrayed by someone we love most.

I did not read the whole chapter, I'm now reaching chapter 13, but yes. I'm a cheater-reader. I have read the Epilogue on the bottom of the page to find out who did it. Even I know already, I still can't stop reading it once I start to open the book.

I love how Tallie meet a better guy at the end and people who betrayed her had paid the price. How better people hiding their badness, time always find away to reveal the truth.

And I love the quote on the from page as well:

Hi there, been a while. Been busy working for new project last month and now back home again for a week? (I hope). Actually for me at home is busier than at work. But what I meant about being busy is that I have a part-time job now, yeaaayy. A job that allow me work from home and still can watch the kids. Was not easy to pass the exams though, as I need to did several procedure which procedure itself was confused me. But I am glad I passed the exams.

I know, everyone wish to be an entrepreneur, you know it would be good to have your own business. I wish to have one someday. But I could not focus on that now as I still have small kids. And I have been tried several MLM as well which I failed as I kind of not lucky enough on that I guess. I know about the jargon "If they can, so can I", but apparently things are not working for some people, including me. And still same reason, unfocused.

This had been my wish-list for so long to have another job without bothering my main job (which also part-time based on Project), but at least this time I have 1 year contract that not bond me (Both site could terminate the contract) so I don't have to depend on my main job anymore. Everyone hates to be dependent, so am I.

Speaking of, I have been work in my current company (which I called 'main job') for almost 3 years, yes not whole year anyway as for year sometimes I work for 3 or 9 months depend on the project. So I still need 2 years here as 5 years is the max. appropriate time for works in a Company (for me). Not that I wish to end it soon but I need to have a career improvement, once I stuck, I will walk. But I wish to be permanent employee here in this company this year ($always so tempting, yes?)

I worked for the first time in a local building contractor company after I graduated from high school and need money to continue my study in college. Yes, I paid my own college. It had been though but I through it. My first pay was IDR 500K, but it was useful that time. And during a year increase to IDR 600K. I totally stuck as I couldn't use internet as my ex. Small company didn’t have it, I could not practise my English which I attempt to always practice it in my High School by attending some extra lesson for English or translating my favorite song, listening to English-base radio and watching English-base Tv.

Luckily, I got a chance to move to Singaporean company which the boss was Singaporean so that I could practice my English. I don’t know since when I have been obsessed with English. You know what my mom had said about my obsession? She said I was a dreamer; too high dream could let me fall. So encouraging, yes? I promise I never said such thing to my children. Yes I was a dreamer and still I am. I was dreaming to travel to Aussie/US for free. And what I got from that dream? I could travel to Singapore for free; maybe the two countries are next ;) imagine if I didn't have dreams? I don’t think I would have any chances. So, no matter people said, even your closest ones, keep in faith and dream.

In my second company, I have a lot of increment in pay-rate or experience and English. I was given chances to improve myself with less supervising, solving problems, handling customer etc. A high work-load environment with average local standard pay-rate for 5 years. But then changes came. My boss resigned, management transferred to sub-company and my job decrease. I feel that it was about time for them to kick me out, so I did apply any open positions that time.

I once failed entering Oil & Gas Company head quartered in US, but of course base in Batam. It was a month after give birth my first child when I attend the interview which runs smoothly, but I failed on the medical check. It was detected that I have Anemia and should have therapy for couple weeks. Unfortunately the position is needed urgently. I was upset as I think it was normal for a just-giving-birth woman got Anemia, but at the end I was out from the major candidates. A month after, my that-time current company increase my pay as same as the O&G company offer, but you know, O&G company is always will look good in our CV, no?

3 months after back for my maternity leave, I got called from my so-current Company to interview. I was just a lucky girl as I did not impressing at all in my first interview; I was saved by ‘period of notice’, mine is shorter. For that I thank to Project Manager D and Capt. C for the chances to be what I am now (am I still human? Yes!). Here I become the highest paid compare to all my friends yeaaayyy... at least monthly as I never had (yet) chance to work whole year haha.

I once work as office manager in small company while my project-less time in my main job. I manage a purchaser, a time keeper, an admin and hundreds workers’ HR related matters. And I worked as an accounts as well. It was quite good pay for local and growing company but then I released the job as my project started and the company start to collapse. I couldn't let them pay me while I attend my main job. It felt just not fair for them in their finance crisis. Of course everyone needs and wants money, but I will be called greedy if I did not release the role.

My goal in work is to be... (tik tok tik tok) joining Purchasing Dept in this my current-Company or other O&G Company. Because I love shopping without spending money, I guess. But, the problem is they always look for Degree in Engineering which I am NOT. You know there was no such major in my college, there are only several college in this city that time and only few major which I could choose by taking night class. So, what could I do to be a purchaser? I could think about being a Purchasing coffee-maker or clerk or admin or assistant first before start being an officer. I am so confident with this occupation; all I need is a chance. And I am sure I will have one, this year. Amien.

I saw today a vacancy in a UAE Marine Company base in Batam looking for Purchasing Officer and Purchasing assistant, for officer, obviously require experience and Engineering degree, for assistant, I could be a candidate, but doesn’t it way too far to go down there? Unless I could get my current salary rate hehe (I wish). I didn't apply that one (yet).

Me, my self was started to love football since World Cup 1998 where French was the winner. Since then, become a fan of Beckham lead me to Manchester United till now. So, my love-period in football started on 1998. And below Ballon D'Or winner are receiver since 1998:

Obviously, he's my favorite. I'm not a fan of Juventus/Real Madrid or France national club but he's the magnet of the match every time he played, according me. Retirement Plans (Dream higher)

What are your plans for retirement? What would you do after retire? What should you have?. These are interesting questions I have been asking for many different people. They have various answers of course, depends on the age, jobs or finance condition but mostly pointing on one thing : TRAVEL.

I have an interesting answer, yet sweet romantic from (I'm not sure about the age but I think he's 50++ years old already), he once a ship's master and now freelance-ing him self as superintendent/surveyor for several famous company. Of course money is not the major problem for him as a seaman. He once mention about boat and stuff which got me asked him about his plan on retirements. And this is his answer : "I want to travel around the world with my wife". Isn't he sweet?. He has 2 boats already and once he sold the old one, he will need to work one more year before it happens. I hope they could make it happens.

One person I asked about the retirement issue, answering this: "I would like to bring my family travels around the worlds, I did see the other places but they didn't, so I want them to see what I see", this is another sweet answer from a man.

One woman answers that she wants to have an investment that far from Riba (religion's related), to live better and traveling of course.

One man, single, answer : "Well, I only have plan for lunch so far" LOL. But at least he has plan.

Other people, their answer mostly having a finance settlement, no finance problem so that they could do traveling to other places, local or abroad.

Me, my self, my dream life after retire is:
I want to go to Mecca (doing Hajji), hopefully Me and Hubby could be registered this year (for next 8 years). Someone said that going to Mecca is just such a wasting, but we all had a different focus and religions and all, so doesn't matter what people said. Keep on your faith.

Having a 5 rooms beach-house, two floors, glass wall (just like the Cullen's family house) with gardens, old pines and coconut tree around the house, a swimming pool, fish pod, and wide space for my grand/great-grand children play ground. Every time I wake up in the morning, I could see sunrise. And when evening comes I could enjoying sunset from my porch and drinking coffee with hubby.

Focusing on religious services. No finance problem, have own business running from home, a Hammer, and successful and prosperous children/grand/great children. Live in peaceful and green life. Frequently our family will go traveling the world with our own yacht starting from the whole part of Indonesia to other part of the world.

Too fancy? and not easy to get, it's difficulty easy (at the end should be easy). I know, I have too details dreams. But whatever my and your plans are, I hope and wish it would be come true soon, and very soon. Remember, what we thoughts will attract to universe and reflect it to be real. So, think wisely.

Of course the finance settlement is the major focus for the retirement. You need to do saving since you can. My opinion, you build your dream first, then do not forget to achieve it. For the first step, put "saving" in your outcome. Do not save when you have balance of your money but put it as a need as if bills.

Traveling is the major thing people dream of after investing, own business and back to rural environment or home town. Some people want to back to their home town and farming so they don't need to work or just plainly gardening and growing pets/animals, some want to do investment then traveling, some want to have their own business and run it from home and traveling. The ending result is traveling, to see the other part of the world would be the nicest thing to do when we grow old and grey.

So, what are your dreams? If you don't have one, start it now! ;)

I suppose to attend meeting on 13:30 with no-clue-agenda. I was thinking that everyone might come to the office first before heading to the meeting room. So I kept waiting till almost 14:00 when one person come to my office and ask about that. So I missed the meeting when I came up to attend it was just too late. Or maybe I was just misunderstood about me being an attendee at the first place. Sad yes?. Better in next chance.

My favorite food? Yes, anything with the red/hot/chili/pepper. I like the band though (RHCP), but I do love the real one, Chili. I could eat rice with sambal only. Maybe in English you called it chili sauce, but it doesn’t represent the pungency of the chili itself, so I’d prefer to call it Sambal. If you check in Wikipedia.com, you’ll find that famous dish. In Indonesia, there are plenty varieties of Sambal, like hundreds? Or more. I eat chili every day. I just can’t eat without the taste of hotness in my tongue.

Couple times I went to Singapore, I brought my own Chili sauce made in Indonesia as in Singapore I think they pretty restrictive with the regulation, not exception regarding food. In the other word, their chili sauce is not a chili sauce at all, it’s like a tomato sauce here in my place. I brought a raw red/green chili so that when I do breakfast in hotel or marketplace, I quietly took them out from my bag and eat. Pretending that no one else will see. It works ;)

Nowadays, the hot-chili-full food is popularly exposed. Many restaurants offer the extra-hot menu with hotness level like just hot, hot, so hot, and extra hot or whatever hot. You could find a hot sushi, hot sukiyaki, hot fried noodle, and hot variety of soups. Last week I saw a small restaurant with a big banner in front of the building says “Bakso Setan”. It means Devilish-Meat Ball as if the taste is hot like hell. And also “Nasi Goreng Setan” : Devilish-fried rice. Quite funny is true but to be honest, it tastes good. But not recommended to those who have a digestion problem, stomach or heart problem. You don’t want to die in heart attack because of these devilish foods.

People hate the smell of the most delicious sambal ever called “sambal belacan”. Belacan is a kind of seasoning flavor made from shrimp, I think they just minced the shrimp and put some spices or else and pack. The smell is awful but the taste is awesome, for some people like me. Don’t judge the thing from it smells, right?

Names of sambals as I eat so far: Sambal belacan/terasi (also called sambal tomat a.k.a tomato), Sambal jelantah (oily), sambal beberuk (made from baby-green-eggplant), Sambal mangga (semi-ripe mango), sambal kelapa (rasped-coconut), sambal santan (coconut-milk), sambal kacang (peanut-chili-sauce), sambal rujak (brown-sugar), another hundreds will follow once I remember…

The health benefits of eating chili, you can check here or just simply google it. Many different arguments about the benefit but the major thing that many woman will like is that chili helps burning fats, but my favorite part is that chili helps lowering blood sugar level.

Chili is truly being a part of my life; it’s like second rice. As if it’s ok just to eat chili and rice only. But keep in healthy people; make it balance between meats, vegetables, fruit and water. The most important thing is be healthy inside your heart. Be happy, and you will healthy. Have good thoughts that you’re healthy and you will be healthy. But not forget to maintain what you eat ;). Be wise for your own body and self.

Blogging. For me were supposed to be my diary, my being-my-self journal my the life journey. But i have realized that ages ago, it become dont-know-what. I did blog-walking and read plenty blogs which they categories themself to be a personal blog, fashion blogger, or whatever else, it seems to be a show-off blog and (maybe just me) be like a high-class style. Unfortunately, i was flowing away and drown with it.
