Sorry to keep ya waiting and anticipating, I had big plans for this when I started but…like I said…my goals and plans grew and I’ve decided to keep things a bit more focused so that I can deliver more content in the main areas of my biz.

Often it’s hard to gather folks who are busy, for a few minutes to do an audio interview….but I’m going to roll with who I have already and continue gathering more bloggers to feature.

I’m not sure who I will start with just yet…but I plan to start soon, the first interview will be up next week, I’m planning for January 5th 2009.

When Your Headliner Sales His Blog

So, what now? What if you had a person lined up to be your “opening act” for a new site you’re launching? The site was theoretically about interviewing bloggers, and the interview was already done.  Only one problem, in between the site launch and the interview, that person SOLD HIS BLOG lol. 

Yeah, I had someone lined up to be my first interview to go live when we open the site, and he has now sold his blog! It’s not as bad as it seems, but it’s pretty funny.  The thing is, the interview was VERY good. So, I’m trying to figure out what I want to do with it. I may offer it as a download in the RSS feed. I may send it out to the mailing list, not sure yet. What do you guys think?

Either way, I have plenty other folks to feature first, I just thought it was funny and that you may get a kick out of it. Our numbers are still growing, but not quite where I’d like them yet. So, if you know anybody, tell them about the site so we can start rolling out the interviews. If things work out as planned, you’ll LOVE the first interview.

Yes, I hate waiting as much as you, I would love nothing more than to bust it open right now!  But with each person being featured for 7 days, I can let it start like most blogs and build up subs.  I mean, we will continue to build but I want each of the bloggers to get exposed to a decent number of readers initially.

So, if you know anyone, or have a blog, we’d appreciate a shout! If you want to be interviewed be sure to contact me! I know we can do it…and I know it’s going to be beneficial to everyone, but again, I want to build it up to a decent amount before we launch.

I have been doing a case study to my RSS subscribers only, at IMwithJoe.com, letting them know the process behind this site launch.  No doubt many of you are on that list and have been watching.  I appreciate it, now lets ramp up and spread the word lol

Again, if you got anyone you want to hear let me know,or if you want to be featured let me know.  Free pub for a week, and people get to hear you speak! :)  Just wanted to let you know what was going on, as once I start posting interviews I won’t be doing any other types of posts so as to maximize the exposure for each blogger.

I may add a newsletter on the site to keep you informed of site news that way. We’ll see. But, give me a shout and make sure you checkout my regular blog  where you’ll catch me talking about internet marketing for the average person.

I’m getting a pretty good list together….but, I’d like to know if you guys have anyone else you’d like me to contact, or you think would be interested in being featured on the site.

I’m wiling to look at various blogs and bloggers, and I’m sure you all know some that I am unfamiliar with or do not know about.

Have them visit the site and go to the contact page or you can post a link to their site in the comments of this post.

Don’t be modest, recommend yourself!

I have no problem with bloggers requesting to be featured.  It can mean some great exposure for your site once we get the interviews rolling, as each blogger will most likely bring with them their own traffic, or readers.  This will give others a chance to be introduced to another audience.

So, if you want to be featured on the site, use the contact page and let me know!

Don’t think I’ve forgotten about you all.  I’m still working hard behind the scenes to get stuff ready for the official launch.  I got a banner done today, through the Professional Design Services of Ian Forrest Parks.  He took my concept for a banner, and made it a reality!  It looks great, it’s sexy don’t ya think?  You’ll soon be seeing it around the blogsphere!

Oh yeeeeeeeeeeaah, that’s a sexy piece of pixel right there wouldn’t ya say! Forrest is the man! You need to check him out if you need any graphics done, I highly recommend him.

More bloggers to be interviewed

I’ve lined up some more bloggers to be interviewed, got some pretty great people.  I don’t have many women yet, so, if you know of any, let me know.  I don’t want this to just focus on make money bloggers or blogging tips bloggers, though that is a huge part of it.  I also want people who have successful blogs in other areas.

It’s looking like I may start recording sooner than I expected, I didn’t expect to have so many bloggers ready this soon.  Get ready for a fun ride!

I’m am stilling going through my initial list and contacting bloggers to interview.  So far, I am up to 9 who are reader to go.  I still have a few more to contact, and I am still looking for people who may be interested.  If you know someone that would like to be featured….or if you would like to be featured yourself, use the contact page to get in touch with us.

I will start recording the calls soon

I plan to start recording calls soon, like within the next two weeks.  As soon as I get a couple recorded I will start posting and officially promoting the site.  Keep your eyes and ears open, as everyone I have talked to is very excited about it, and are catching on with the vision I have for the site.

Keep moving forward

One thing I have been learning as a blogger, is you have to keep moving forward.  Some people think blogging is much easier than it is.  Sure, a random blog that is personal and you update on a whim is cool, but, if you are aiming to have a very successful blog, it takes constant work, writing, promoting, and networking.

I encourage all to stay focused and hang on for the ride….it’s about to get interesting!

I already have seven bloggers scheduled to be interviewed.  I’m sure you guys will like them, trust me….these are some great bloggers.  I don’t want to spill the beans, not just yet….but soon, I will let the cat out of the bag.

One blogger interviewed each week

I have decided I will probably shoot for posting one interview per week.  I think this keeps things fresh, without being spread out too far.

Well, that’s about it for today’s update, just wanted you to know things are moving along, content is being scheduled, I just don’t have a solid launch date yet, thinking mid to late August.

Make sure you stay tuned, subscribe to the feed so you can get all the latest news.  I am currently posting short updates leading up to the official launch of the site.  Right now I need to get some banner work done, I’ll probably go to my buddy Forest for that one, he does great graphic work!

We are in the preliminary stages right now, but please know that we are working hard to provide you with an experience like none other.  I am looking forward to watching this idea grow, and hopefully helping out many bloggers along the way.
