Not to be left behind by Amazon’s Kindle App and Apple’s iBook’s App, Famed bookseller Barnes and Noble has just released the long awaited eReader App for iPad.

I think the best feature of B&N’s hardware ebook reader device the NOOK was the lend to a friend feature. The ability to lend books just like we would a paper and glue version has long been missing from readers like the Kindle. I love all things design and this is no exception as Moodboard Pro has a very nice interface design. It seems as if they have a great understanding of the touch interface and it ergonomics.

Totally on a more patriotic note, the designer/co-creator of the app Kyle Tress, is a World Cup Skeleton athlete and a 2014 Winter Olympic hopeful. That alone make me want to buy this app as US athletes have to raise their own funds to be an Olympian. Check out his blog http://www.kyletress.com/
