At the end of the email, make sure you close in a professional way.  �??Sincerely�?? and then your name and contact information is a good way to close the email.
Email has caused people to get more casual in their correspondence.  You must remember that you are still corresponding with a business, which means you must remain professional at all times.

When you are looking for a job, you need to have all resources at your fingertips.  There might be the perfect job for you right there in your own town, but you could end up missing it if you do not have a newspaper in front of you.  If you are serious about getting a new job, you need to subscribe to a newspaper.

Show him you are dedicated and you will do a good job with everything you do.  You can also exceed his expectations by taking on new tasks.  Help others out.  Step outside of your comfort zone.  If you do these things, your boss will take notice.  You will be likely to get considered for a promotion, even if you are new to the job.

If you do not have a great resume, there is a good chance you will not get a new job.  After all, the resume is the first thing an employer looks at.  They feel that if you cannot create a professional resume, you will not be a good fit with the company.
If you are going to create a superior resume you need to:

�?�    Highlight your skills, and minimize jobs that do not highlight your skills
�?�    Write a strong objective
When you write a resume, you are selling yourself.  That means you have to show the employer why you would be the best choice for the job.  You need to give him a reason to pick you out of everyone else.  That means you cannot be shy or modest.  If you have a skill, you need to list it.
When you highlight your skills, you also need to minimize jobs that will not look very good on a resume.  For example, if you are going for a job at a bank, highlight your banking experience first, and spend the most time on it, before you go into details about other jobs you have had.  If an employer picks up your resume and the first thing he sees is the job you had at a grocery store, he is likely going to put your resume down.
A strong objective statement is also important.  Use that as an opportunity to tell what you are going to do for the company.  Use clear and concise language, but also make it jump out at the reader.

In addition, you can call the companies directly. Simply ask them if they are hiring, and then get a fax number or email address so you can send your resume over. That way, you will be able to be considered for the job.

You can have access to thousands more jobs if you do these things.  You will find it is actually quite easy to get a new job when you are able to apply for everything that is available.  You will get a career much faster than you would if you simply relied on the classified ads.
