Choosing the Right Choice

Assalamualaikum to all...

1. Life hasn't been always simple. At least as simple as an individual could hope for.

2. I'm too with no exception. I wish I could live my life the simplest way I could. Where I could get whatever I wish for with the simplest way I could afford. But that is not the way Allah S.W.T 'designs' human live.

3. For us the human being are destined to cope with what ever we have and utilize all of them in the best possible way we could think of. This is where the word 'regret', 'experience', 'what if' and etc. occur and debatable among an individual's social circle. The debate could be interestingly last for years!

4. That is the reason why, the survival of the fittest came to life. Where this theory stress on the fact that only individual that fit enough or strong enough could live dominantly in that particular community or tribe or in taman perumahan what so ever lah.

5. But indeed, in today's life, strength is not everything. Sometimes, or should I say, almost all the time, 5 to 10% of actively functioning brain cells of an individual rules the theory. In other words, people with brain can survive better than who don't have it (not physically).

6. Well, the hypothesis is, gain as many knowledge as you can, may these knowledge could bring you to the next level in your life and bringing you to the best possible life you wished for.

7. Still, when opportunities came. Focus on the plural word I used. Opportunities. One must make a choice or 2 choices which ever applicable. Normally only 1 is allowed.

8. For example, today. I've attended an interview as a Medical Executive for MyCare Health Group where I was supposed to generate sales for the genetic/DNA tests for the specialist, medical labs, or hospitals in Malaysia. This seems to be a very good opportunity, apart from the fact the Bos/Owner is my super duper senior from UiTM, where he was also an MLTs student.

9. He mentioned about me could be the pioneer staff for his company. The only part that is important for him is that I will bring in the market. My success is based on the total sales I'll generate for the company.

10. I've been wondering. I may have a slightly good skills on convincing people to buy my ideas, in this case, the services. But the deeper I thought about this, I realized that sales was never my main interest. I know deep in myself that I have the most interest in the technical part.

11. Therefore, I choose to wait for the next 2 interviews within this month. One will be today at 3p.m as a Technical Support Executive. And the other on the following week as an Application Specialist.

12. I might as well failed to hook on all three positions, but, InsyaAllah, I may also be able to get one or maybe all positions if they are interested with what I could offer and also, what they could OFFER me (^_^)v.

13. Therefore, the life continue. Where us, the human being, keep on making the right choice for any possible events that may occur in life.

This is how life in my understanding.

Assalamualaikum to All...

1. Aku mula menjadi seorang pelajar semenjak daripada umur 6 tahun bila aku masuk tadika di Sek. Keb. Tanjung Keramat Kuala Selangor.

2. Sekolah sampai pertengahan darjah 3, kemudian ditukarkan ke Sek. Keb. Bandar Baru Kuala Selangor sebab sekolah tu baru bukak, then sebahagian pelajar daripada sekolah Tg. Keramat tu ditukarkan ke Bandar Baru.

3. Habes peringkat sek. rendah, aku mula bersolah di Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Seri Tanjung daripada tingkatan 1 sampai lah 5.

4. Habes SPM, sambung plak pra-diploma kat UiTM Kuala Pilah, Kemudian Diploma di UiTM Jalan Othman, Kemudian akhir sekali buat masa sekarang, Ijazah di USM Penang.

5. Selama 7 tahun aku di peringkat universiti, pengalaman paling utama yang aku belajar ialah, pengurusan masa yang berkesan serta jati diri yang tinggi untuk mengelakkan diri daripada terpengaruh dengan perkara-perkara atau budaya yang buruk. (walaupun aku ni taklah baik sangat)

6. So far, masa di UiTM, aku byk hbeskan masa aku ber-persatuan (selain daripada study). Banyak la jugak program yg aku join semata-mata utk mendapatkan pengalaman dalam pengurusan dan soft-skills.

7. Untuk ijazah plak, aku tak rasa aku nak aktif dalam persatuan, aku lebih cenderung untuk mencari pengalaman menambah pendapatan sebagai duit poket so that aku tak payah la kerap mintak duit kt family aku.

8. Hasilnya, aku keje kedai kasut, wat home-tuition., ngajar kt tuition centre, amek upah wat assignment student pjj. Masa aku pun dipenuhi perkara-perkara seperti ini semata-mata ingin mencari pengalaman dan menambah income setiap hari.

9. Alhamdulillah, pengalaman yg ade dulu byk mengajar aku utk cekal, terutama sekali lepas hbes ijazah, bile mane amatlah susah nk dapatkan pekerjaan yg sesuai.

10. Walaupun agak tension memikirkan kesukaran dalam mendapat pekerjaan, tak pernah pulak aku nk terfikir untuk berdemonstrasi menyatakan bahawa kerajaan sekalarang ini kejam yang tidak memberikan kebebasan akademik, tidak menyediakan peluang pekerjaan dan sebagainya. Hakikatnya, inilah senario seantero dunia, pekerjaan bukanlah mudah untuk didapati sekiranya anda MEMILIH!!!

11. Pada aku, masa adalah hak masing2. Kita boleh gunakan masa kita untuk kepentingan dan kehendak masing2.

12. Sama ada nk buat kekacauan, nk bina keamanan atau nk lakukan sesuatu yang berfaedah? Korang pilihlah sendiri.

13. Untuk pelajar UPSI yg terlibat, walaupun niat anda semua nk memperjuangkan hak graduan UPSI mendapat tempat mengajar a.k.a kerja (walaupun niat ini amatlah aku ragui), demonstrasi dengan menyatakan "Mahasiswa Bangkit" amatlah tidak logik dan tidak masuk akal.

14. Kawan baik aku sendiri pun graduan UPSI, dekat 1tahun menganggur, tapi beliau tetap tabah carik keje kt tuition centre etc. Alhamdulillah, sekarang beliau adalah seorang Guru disekolah menengah di Selangor. Tak pulak aku dengar beliau nk berdemo mcm kamu semua yang belum lg jadi graduan.

15. Ape2 pun, itu hak korang. Korang patot cintakan keharmonian dan bukannyer timbulkan suasana yang tegang dan huru hara, but all in all, do what u think is right. But to date, what u did is wrong. Totally wrong. (as far as I concerned)

16. Objektif aku masa melangkah di alam Universiti ialah kekalkan CGPA 3.0 ke-atas. Which I did throughout my studies and I'm happy to see the proud on my parents' face.

BOSS WANTS GOALS FROM MIDFIELD

Sir Alex is looking for more goals from midfield in order to take some of the pressure off the likes of Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez in attack.

The fact that the five goals at Fulham were all netted by different scorers pleased the boss after Michael Carrick broke a 70-game Barclays Premier League duck in the victory at QPR.

"It's unusual when you score five goals like the other night," stated the manager. "We can't always depend on Chicharito or Wayne to score all the goals. The spread is very pleasing. One of the criticisms of this team has been a lack of goals from midfield. We can't always depend on the strikers."

One of those to find the net at Craven Cottage was evergreen midfielder Ryan Giggs, who kept up his remarkable record of scoring in the past 20 seasons.

"I thought Ryan Giggs was unbelievable on Wednesday," admitted Sir Alex. "Danny Murphy was finding it very difficult.

"We know Ryan's incredible though - it's an established fact. He is an incredible footballer."

CARRICK HAS 'SIXTH SENSE'

Phil Jones thinks Michael Carrick is still under-rated, even though the elegant midfielder is starting to get the recognition he deserves for a string of fine displays this term.

The summer signing from Blackburn has seen Carrick's qualities at close quarters after partnering him in midfield of late and believes his footballing instinct is second-to-none.

"He's terrific," he told ManUtd.com. "I don't think everybody realises what he does for the team. He's a super footballer and a great lad. He's massively under-rated. Other people may not notice what he does but when you're playing alongside him, you can't help but be impressed.

"He seems to have this sixth sense - he knows where to be, where the ball's going to be. He's always in the right place at the right time to either receive the ball or break up an attack. He has a great range of passing, too, and, as we saw at QPR, he has goals in him as well."

As for his own scoring ability, after netting in consecutive games recently and hitting the woodwork at Loftus Road, Jones has set his own target for the campaign. "I'd probably like to end the season with five or six goals," he admitted. "That would be great. If I keep playing in midfield I'm sure I can get into goalscoring positions and bang in a few more."

UNITED'S AMSTERDAM ASSIGNMENT

The Europa League draw has pitted Sir Alex's side with Amsterdam aristocrats Ajax in a glamorous Round of 32 tie.

The first leg takes place on Thursday 16 February with a kick-off time of 18.00 GMT while the home match takes place at Old Trafford a week later at 20.05.

"Ajax are a good team and I've never faced them in competitive European football," the manager told ManUtd.com. "I'm looking forward to it."

POGBA'S FIRST-TEAM AIM

Paul Pogba is driven by one goal - to become a first-team regular at United.

The promising midfielder has had a taste of senior action in the Carling Cup and admits he is hungry for more chances to impress Sir Alex. After returning to top form in the Reserves' 4-0 win against Liverpool, the youngster has his eyes firmly fixed on stepping up a level again in 2012.

"It's very good," he told MUTV. "I'm getting in the first team and I enjoy it a lot. I have to carry on and try to play more games. "[My debut at] Leeds was a great feeling. I played away, in a derby as well, and came on for Ryan Giggs. I thought: 'Okay, now is a good chance to prove myself and to show them what I can do'. CAPITAL GAINS FOR CARRICK

Michael Carrick is confident United can keep the pressure on leaders Manchester City with back-to-back victories against QPR and Fulham ahead of Christmas.

The champions face the first trips to London of the Barclays Premier League campaign and have been boosted by City's defeat at Chelsea on Monday night. Although recognising that both capital clubs will make life difficult for the Reds, the in-form midfielder is looking to give the travelling Red Army some festive cheer.

"QPR are having a decent season and have been strong at home," he told ManUtd.com. "Loftus Road is a tough place to go. It's a tight, smallish pitch and the fans are right on top of you, which creates an intense atmosphere.

CARRICK TARGETS CHRISTMAS CUTBACK

Michael Carrick wants to get closer to United's neighbours over the festive season - by helping the Reds to reduce Manchester City's lead in the league.

The champions are currently five points behind the Blues but it could all be very different by Christmas Day with three league matches apiece to be played in the meantime - starting with United vs Wolves at Old Trafford this weekend.

"We're quite happy with the way things have gone in the league," Carrick told United Review, the official match programme. "Of course, we'd prefer to be on top, but we're actually in a better position than last season [in terms of points won] and hopefully we'll be even closer to City come the end of the year."

Suspension caused Carrick to miss the agonising Champions League exit in Baselbut he's eligible to return on Saturday, against a side who beat United at Molineux last season and were on course for a draw at Old Trafford until injury time.

"Ji's winner was a huge goal for us," said Carrick, recalling Park's late strike in November 2010. "Wolves are always well organised and they have a lot of energy in their side. Their [2-1] result against Sunderland last weekend was a big one and it will have given them a boost ahead of our game. We'll take nothing for granted."

BUTT ASSESSES MIDFIELD ISSUES

Nicky Butt knows a thing or two about patrolling the midfield for United and is convinced Sir Alex will find a settled central pair as the season progresses.

After Tom Cleverley and Anderson worked in tandem for the first four Barclays Premier League games, United have tried 13 other partnerships in the engine room and not had the same duo for consecutive matches.

"I think it's difficult to pick the four starting across the midfield," Butt admitted to ManUtd.com recently. "In years gone by, everyone knew who the strongest four or five was. It's different now but we've still got some good players.

"I think Sir Alex'll be looking to try and get a steady pairing in the centre. He's had injuries to Darren Fletcher, Cleverley and Anderson so it's been difficult to get a regular line-up in midfield. It helps when you can get everyone on a roll and playing well together."

Despite the injury problems, Butt doesn't think his former manager will focus solely on midfield when the buying season begins again. "Every team can improve, no matter who they are," he added. "Even Barcelona can improve so I'm sure Sir Alex will sign players, whether it be in midfield, defence or up front. He's always looking to enhance his squad."

4. Tuition pulak alhamdulillah, parents Daniel masih nak aku teruskan kelas.

First Salary

5. This week aku dapat 2 assignments dr student PJJ. Article mengenai pendidikan menggunakan komputer dan juga assignment bahasa Melayu mengenai bahasa Pengantar (sangat susah kot). Alhamdulillah jugak dah siap, kalau xde masalah, within this week dapat la payment (^_^).

6. The last final week of November, jatuh lah tarikh hari lahir aku yang ke 25 (^_^). Sekejap je...lg 5 tahun da jadi 30...hahaha

REDS BOSS READY TO ROTATE

Sir Alex Ferguson insists he will utilise his Manchester United squad to the full as the busy festive period approaches.

The champions face seven matches in December, starting with Saturday's trip to Aston Villa. With a crunch Champions League tie in Basel next Wednesday thrown into the mix, there's no great margin for error for the Reds. The FA Cup draw on Sunday will also add an early date for the calendar in the New Year, to follow the first league game of 2012 at high-flying Newcastle United.

"Squad rotation is inevitable," explained Sir Alex. "December is a particularly busy month when we often play a lot of games. We've got a Boxing Day game, a New Year's Eve game and it's going to be a hectic spell and that's when the squad really kicks in.

"Actually, I think we've been using the squad very well lately. Nobody can complain about a lack of games. Everybody's been getting their share."

"We've got two months to galvanise the club now," he stressed. "By New Year's Day, I want to be in a position where we're top, or within a point or two of the leaders."

Ideally I'd like to play at left-back but I'll play wherever the manager wants. I'm not going to say 'no' to him!

Who was or is your footballing hero? - Stef Ramsden
He plays in a different position to me, but I'd have to say Thierry Henry. I used to love him because he had everything as a forward. He was obviously brilliant in front of goal and had bags of skill but he was also big and strong and was always entertaining.

I tend to just go home and play on my X-Box a lot. I'm a massive Call of Duty fan. If you're not into it then you're missing out. I don't know anybody who doesn't have it - it's amazing.

Ryan Giggs:
"I've watched Giggsy go on his mazy runs throughout his career and to see him do it first-hand now has made me really stand up and think 'Wow!'. He's achieved so much in his career and is still hungry for more. It's incredible."

Rio Ferdinand:
"I've always watched a lot of Rio for both United and England. He is definitely someone any young centre-back should look up to if they want to become a top player. He's one of England's greatest ever defenders and all the opportunities I get to train and play with Rio will only help me."

Ian Wright:
"He came from a similar background to me in terms of how he worked his way up [from the lower leagues]. As a youngster, I sometimes played up front or in midfield and he was someone I used to look up to. And even when I moved to centre-back I still always enjoyed watching him."

"He might be 35 now but he's still showing what a top player he is. He's always had great ability, but he's also extremely composed whenever he's on the ball."

VIDIC: NO NEED TO WORRY

Nemanja Vidic has stressed the champions are not panicking at being five points behind leaders Manchester City at this stage of the season.

In an exclusive interview with this Saturday's United Review, the official matchday programme, the centre-back says it is far too early to be analysing the league table in too much depth and the Reds are determined to be in the shake-up come May.

"When you look at the league table, we'd obviously prefer to be closer," he conceded. "But nobody in the team is panicking. There are tough games for everybody ahead and there's more than half the season left to play. We have a lot of talent, experience and desire in this squad - certainly enough to win the league."

Shrewd observers will have noted Vida swapped with Rio Ferdinand and played on the right side of the central defence in the match with the Magpies' North-East rivals Sunderland, with the skipper revealing it was merely a tactical switch from Sir Alex.

"Sometimes the manager wants to try new things or make a tactical change," he added. "As he did against Sunderland. It's no problem for me to play on the right or for Rio to play on the left. We can cope either way. The boss had a reason why he wanted Rio and I to swap against Sunderland and it worked well."

FORMER RED: UNITED ARE WELL PLACED

Ex-United striker Andy Ritchie feels the champions are in a handy position in the Barclays Premier League table and are capable of cutting Manchester City's lead down to two points with victory against Newcastle on Saturday.

"Newcastle have been the surprise package this season," he told Red View. "They had a big test away at City last weekend - a game they lost - and face another on Saturday at Old Trafford. That's two really tough away games back-to-back.

"Ultimately, I don't think they will end up in the top four come May - I saw Alan Pardew saying a similar thing last weekend at his press conference. He's being realistic in that sense, but credit to them because they've taken the league by storm and done very well. They don't particularly have a real stand-out player - they've done very well as a unit this season.

"As for United, I think we've been workmanlike in our approach to games in recent weeks. I'm sure that's come from the manager with regard to wanting us to defend better. It's maybe taken away a little bit of our cavalier attacking attitude, but results are what you want and we've been getting them in the league.

"When you look at the league and consider the fact we've played all the top teams, I think we're in a great position. We've had a tough start, whereas City have got a lot of the big sides to come - that will be the real test for them. I think the manager will be looking at our next half a dozen games and I think we're more than capable of taking maximum points from them and that would set us up nicely for the New Year."

1. When you hate the traffic jammed everyday going for work, you might have chosen to ride a motorcycle. This is practically the best solution.

2. Economic-wise, time-wise and space-wise too!

3. In term of safety, raining and hot weather, you're gonna have to find another alternatives for that or, just get on with it.

4. That is why, and also my initial hypothesis, that women, who are economically stable, in the sense of having a good pay from a good career, or maybe by having a wealthy family and/ or husband that enable them to drive car for work will definitely choose car over motorcycle. (generally)

5. I'm writing here as my capacity as a motorcyclist for over than 5 years on the road with only 1 summons for "Parking at Pedestrian walk". Is that wrong? (My bad, got to attend an interview, practically not enough time for plan B)

6. If you notice, every traffic lights has their own specific timing based on whatever calculation and research they've done. Some traffic lights for some particular roadways have a longer "Green" time than the others. nevertheless, the rotation for each traffic light is constant.

7. That means, whatever it is, after this traffic light turns "Red" the next one let say the opposite traffic light will turn "Green" and after this second traffic light's turned "Red" the third traffic light will turn "Green" and this cycle or rotation is constantly rotating accordingly. It will not randomly turn "Red" nor "Green" at ease. That will cause a disaster I supposed.

8. From my experience, motorcyclists will always be stopping at the front line whenever the traffic light is in "Red" period. They/ us will be the first to throttle when our traffic light turn "Green". (except for the ignorance rider who just ride through the "Red" period) Please don't do that.

9. In my observation for over so many years on the road, riders who are familiar with the traffic lights, will be starring at the traffic light that will be on "Red" period for their side of traffic light to become "Green". Where they are supposedly as in the exam notes, keep their view on their own side of traffic light. Wait for it to turn green, then, continue their journey.

10. What happen is that, they'll tilt their head either left or right, then, soon as they see "Red" (not from their side of traffic light) they'll start throttling. What will happen if there is a system failure? wouldn't that be horrible?

11. These are common among the motorcyclists. Instead of waiting for "Green", they are expecting for "Red".

12. Me on the other hand, enjoy looking at these bunch of motorcyclists (you can count them if you want), tilting their head on the same side of traffic light (not the one they're supposed to stare). When I see the same gestures done by them, which is tilting back their face to front and start throttling, I knew that is the moment my side of traffic light will turn "Green".

13. And yes, when I see "Green", then only I'll start throttling, continuing my journey for work or anywhere I want to.

14. I honestly don't really get what I was trying to express here. But this is human behaviour. You can see the obvious from the common condition. Or even the common can also turn to be the obvious.

15. Some people will just do that, while others will do this, and the remainder will do differently.

16. Most importantly, you should do the right thing. It depends on your interpretation and other factors, but the decision will always be yours.

SIR ALEX TARGETS CONSISTENCY

Sir Alex Ferguson is hoping his Manchester United side can kick on now that the international fixtures have drawn to a close until 2012.
With domestic matters back in focus again, starting with Saturday's trip to Swansea City, the manager is fully aware that his team need to keep winning in order to be in the right position to challenge in January. Manchester City sit five points clear at the head of the Barclays Premier League and the boss is demanding the champions hit top form - beginning with this weekend's teatime encounter.
"It's an interesting game tomorrow," he admitted. "I think everyone's been impressed by the way Swansea have played - they've kept their philosophy of playing attacking football, or playing good football anyway. It was interesting to see their stats from their last away game against Liverpool - they had 67 per cent of possession, which is very good at a place like Anfield.
"So we know we have a tough game tomorrow but that's the way our league is and we have an opportunity now the internationals are over until February, a three-month opportunity, to make sure we get some consistency, good form and by 1 January, we hope that we're in the right position in the league. New Year is always an important time for me. It's always crucial in my calendar that we get to that time of the season in good order."

BLACKMORE'S ROONEY WISH
Former United player Clayton Blackmore has admitted he would like to see Wayne Rooney restored to his familiar attacking role against Swansea.
The England international has been used in a withdrawn role of late but injuries to Danny Welbeck and Michael Owen could see United's top scorer restored to attacking duties at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
"I think he should be up front because he's a fantastic striker," Blackmore enthused to Red View. "I've got to say he's been playing well in midfield but I think he could play anywhere because he's that kind of player. Even if Wayne went in goal, he'd have a great game.
"I think we need him up front, especially this weekend as one of their weak links is at the back, so I'm hoping Wayne will be right up against the centre-halves and give them a torrid time. It's a good thing for United, although England fans won't agree, that he was suspended for his country.
"I don't know about him moving into midfield in the long term. In the last game, he only ended up having one shot on goal and we need him in a position where he's getting in front of goal all the time."

"There's so many great players over so many years that everyone will have a different opinion," he informed Red View. "When the fans see the eventual team picked, I'd be surprised if the majority don't disagree. I've disagreed already. I think one or two I played with should've been in the team. The voting's probably done by the younger generation nowadays and they remember the present-day players more so than the ones from the past. I wasn't happy my captain Bryan Robson was not in the team. I wasn't happy at all nor that Denis Law wasn't up front. Those two were the main two that surprised me having played with both Denis and Bryan.
"Bobby Charlton can get in any position as he was great. George Best got in the team by just four percent of votes ahead of Ronaldo and I don't see that. I've watched Cristiano and he's scored some fantastic goals but Best was just something different, something extra. He should've been way ahead in the voting. But the votes were taken recently and most remember Ronaldo and don't remember George. I think Cristiano did enough in his time here to go alongside the greats and everyone will never ever forget the fantastic goals he scored. We just hoped it would be for longer than it was and his career would end at United but that wasn't the case."

The manager is forecasting a good reception for Sunderland's former Reds when they return to Old Trafford on Saturday.

Unfortunately, injury has robbed John O'Shea of the chance to share in the acclaim but manager Steve Bruce, Wes Brown, Kieran Richardson and Phil Bardsley are all expected to be involved. The summer deal to sell O'Shea and Brown to the Black Cats was approved by Sir Alex, who will be guaranteed a rousing welcome himself on the eve of the 25th anniversary of his appointment.

"We've had so many ex-players at Sunderland over the last few years, it's been quite interesting," he revealed. "We had Jonny Evans up there, we had Danny Welbeck up there on loan, Phil Bardsley, Kieran Richardson and now Wes and John have joined Brucey.

"It's quite a connection. And of course they'll get a good reception at Old Trafford. In Wes Brown and John O'Shea, you couldn't have asked for two more loyal players at United in my time. They were fantastic characters too. It was one of these difficult situations when you're starting to make changes and bring in young players, like Chris Smalling last season and then Phil Jones this summer.

"The last thing you want to do is have players like Wes and John continually just sitting and watching the games. They're better than that and they deserve to have good careers elsewhere."

WELBECK'S BLACK CATS WARNING

Danny Welbeck has warned Sunderland there is no room for sentiment in Saturday's Barclays Premier League encounter.

The England striker thoroughly enjoyed last season's loan spell at the Stadium of Light and is full of admiration for Steve Bruce's Black Cats. The term on Wearside clearly helped develop Welbeck into a player capable of holding down a first-team place at Old Trafford and, although he's looking forward to meeting his former team-mates, his thoughts are solely focused on helping United collect another three points.

"I know quite a few of the players, so it'll be good to see them again, but, when it comes down to it, I'll be ruthless," Welbeck insisted. "I just want to win the game. There's no friends out on the pitch.

"It was a great club to go to - a massive club and I really enjoyed my time there. The fans were great and I can't thank them enough. I couldn't thank Steve Bruce enough for my time there. He kept playing me week in, week out which was what I needed and he was a great man-manager with me. He was always speaking with me, always giving me advice throughout training and throughout the games as well. He's been a massive part of my career.

"I would say he's definitely the right man for the job. I was there last season and the way things are run is great. It is a family club and I think everyone enjoys themselves there. I couldn't speak much more highly of him."

There, in a softer spotlight, the boss could fully relax and acknowledge his feat of hauling Manchester United to its feet, dusting it down and sending it on its way to new frontiers. Sir Alex's exclusive take on an incredible tale is the story everybody wants yet, bar last night's exclusive guest list, nobody has. All media - internal and external, domestic and international - have been rebuffed in their requests for the lowdown on how it feels to batten down one of the most pressurised jobs in football for quarter of a century.

You must be delighted to be back after spending six weeks on the sidelines?
Definitely. The injury was bad timing. I was in the team, I was playing well and enjoying myself. These things happen in football though and you've just got to work hard on getting yourself fit, listen to what the physios say and stay upbeat.

How good did it feel to be back in action against Aldershot?
It felt great. It helps when you've got fantastic players around you as you can bed yourself in and work your way up to being 100 per cent.

A lot of fans have said how much they feel the team has missed you in recent weeks - that must be nice to hear but does it put extra pressure on you?
It's always nice to hear, but there's a bit of pressure [on everyone] anyway because last weekend's game was a bad result. At the start of the season, the whole team was very fluent and we were playing fantastic football. The games have been harder in recent weeks and it's very flattering to hear fans say they've missed me.

What do comments like that say about how far you've come this season?
It's been brilliant. Things went a little better than I expected at the start of the season and then I was disappointed to get injured, but I'm buzzing to be back now and hopefully we can get back to winning ways on Saturday.

Is there a positive feeling in the camp despite the derby result?
Yes definitely. We've got a great team spirit. We'll regroup and go forward from here.

ROONEY CAN HANDLE THE JEERS

Sir Alex is backing Wayne Rooney to handle the hostile atmosphere at Goodison Park on Saturday.

The United striker has been jeered on every return to his former club following his big-money move to Old Trafford and it will be no different this weekend.

After starting on the bench for the previous trip to his native Merseyside earlier in the month, Rooney will be hoping to start this time around and the boss is expecting the England international to deliver the goods.

"Wayne's had mixed success going to Everton," explained the manager. "He's scored a couple of goals there.

"He gets booed as normal. He got booked in one game and I took him off because he'd been yellow-carded and there was no way I was going to give the referee an opportunity to send him off.

"That's where the hype around the ground in terms of him getting booed every time he makes a challenge comes into it. He's had mixed fortunes there but he's scored a couple of goals and done well in some of the games and hopefully that'll be the case tomorrow."

Adam Marshall says three points can help heal the wounds left by last Sunday's defeat..

Defeats for Manchester United are always blown out of proportion. When a seismic loss occurs like the one last Sunday, the press starts licking its lips ready to fuel talk of a crisis - so soon after lauding the champions as unstoppable.

There is no hiding behind the fact that derby day was painful and the wounds will take some time to heal, even allowing for the red card and the three-goal barrage late on that give the scoreline a gloss every Blue will gloat about for years. But some context is required here.

The thing is United actually began the season better than usual, indeed it was Sir Alex's finest start to a Barclays Premier League campaign. Last year, the Reds remained unbeaten all the way until the shock loss at Wolves but the away form had been relatively poor all campaign.

Yes, the warning signs were clearly there - even in victory over Chelsea - and there is a need to signal that the troubles on the road have been eradicated, despite the wins at West Brom and Bolton, particularly as Owen Coyle's side have still to pick up their first point at The Reebok.

And away fixtures for the Reds don't come too much tougher than Everton, who always love to put one over United. However, that is what football is all about - bouncing back in the face of adversity. The world could be looking a much better place for the Red Army after the Goodison assignment at midday on Saturday. Two draws with City and the Toffees would have been perfectly acceptable so to leave Merseyside with three points would be a real fillip.

Of course, the inferior goal difference with City will take some recovering and it's worth an extra point to our neighbours. But the season doesn't end in October and let's urge the Reds towards a redemptive strike at the weekend that will start to push the City horror-show towards the back of the mind, where it belongs.

RIO SEEKS RIGHT INGREDIENTS FOR ANFIELD

Rio Ferdinand believes the right blend of youth and experience is crucial as United head to Liverpool without several elder statesmen who were at the club last term.

A number of thirtysomethings, fortysomething in Edwin van der Sar's case, have departed with an injection of young talent helping reinvigorate the champions at the start of the season. However, the trip to Anfield always demands wise heads to deal with the frenzied atmosphere. Ferdinand explained:

"It is just another part of the youngsters' learning curve. It is great for these young guys to be able to go to Anfield with Manchester United, to feel the environment and atmosphere that is put in front of you. To become top players, you have to be able to adapt and apply yourself in different environments. This is a hostile place, but one there is no better place to win at as a United player. Our manager is the best in the business at mixing youth and experience. If he feels we need youth and experience mixed in, then great. Experience is valuable, so is youth. The mixture will be vital.

"I would say it's the biggest game for the players. We have played a couple of the teams who are normally around us in the league at home, but this is away. Regardless of what part of the season it is, going to Anfield is always huge for us. It's a game we look forward to and one I'm sure the fans are really excited about."

BOSS WANTS COOL HEADS

Sir Alex is determined United will keep calm in the Anfield cauldron on Saturday and finish the game with 11 men on the pitch. Sendings off have seriously hindered the Reds' hopes in recent years and the manager has also acknowledged Liverpool's improvement under Kenny Dalglish.

"In my time, we've had about nine players sent off in games there which is unusual for Manchester United," declared the boss. "That is down to the atmosphere which can be created there. It's something you have to deal with.

"Last season, we were playing really well in the game and made two really bad errors to give the goals away. It was hard to overcome that. In the previous two seasons, we had players sent off. There are issues you have to deal with - your temperament and composure in these situations to make sure you handle these sorts of things."

Dalglish will bid to outdo his old adversary with the two Scots on the touchline again this weekend.

"He's what the fans wanted and I think there has been an improvement," added Sir Alex. "They've bought a lot of players. They've gone for it financially and the owners have supported Kenny very well. At the end of the day you would always expect Liverpool to be challenging at least for a Champions League place."

COLE'S FIRES STILL BURN FOR LIVERPOOL GAMES

Andrew Cole feels the white-hot atmosphere at Anfield on Saturday will make life difficult for United.

The ex-Reds striker believes older heads like Ryan Giggs and Rio Ferdinand will need to pass their experience on to the younger lads in order to ensure the champions handle the occasion. After three consecutive defeats in front of The Kop, the pressure is on United to extend their unbeaten start to the campaign in the lunchtime fixture.

"It's a great game," Cole enthused on MUTV's Live at the Red Cafe. "I think if you speak to the majority of the lads as well, this is the one game everyone looks forward to. Liverpool at Anfield is the kind of match you want to play in when you come to United."

With the likes of Gary Neville, Edwin van der Sar and Paul Scholes all no longer available, it will be a younger United squad that travels to Merseyside this season. "I know we've surpassed them championship-wise, but you're talking about great history there," explained Cole. "When you've got experienced players like Giggsy and Rio, all those kind of boys will let the players know what it's like at Anfield and how passionate it is. It gets tougher and tougher every year you go there and I think form goes out of the window. In recent years, United have always been going there in decent form but Liverpool have somehow got the results.

"It's feisty at times because the atmosphere is so hot. If there's any mistimed challenges, the Liverpool punters are straight on it. The manager sometimes says the referee has got to be strong and Andre Marriner will need to be on Saturday because the fans do get behind their team."

1. Cancers are one of the most prevalent causes of death in Malaysia. Malaysian government even announced the intention of getting rid off cancer in Malaysia before 2025.

2. The finding of the specific enzyme CYP1B1 which is overly expressed specifically by cancer cells could be one of the solutions in terms of early detection of cancer.

3. This is my new assignment namely to provide samples to be tested with this newly design blood test to detect the presence of cancer cells (particularly Lung cancers)

4. Even though there aren't many lab work for me to do, I still get the experience on communicating with people in order to get their consent so that we could use their blood and any other specimens and data to be stored, analysed and recorded.

5. Really happy with the fact that I have some part to play in order to help people with cancers. I may not be fully responsible if this project is succeeded, but my part should be more than enough for an average individual. (^_^)

1. If people read news yesterday if I'm not mistaken. This sad-sad-sad news has been written for us to read.

2. Malaysia's Universities have been excluded from the list of top 400 universities in the world. So, how do we compete and get into the list back again?

3. If recent socio-political life in campus still continue...I doubt we'll be back into that very list again. We all go even far from that list. We may not be in top 1000 universities.

First Day @ Work

Assalamualaikum to all...

1. Alhamdulillah...the long awaited job finally here and I am now a Research Assistant in Molecular Pathology Unit at IMR.

2. Even though the salary is not that good, but right now, all I am looking for is for the experience. I've heard this unit will be working on new project on database for specimens specifically for certain types of cancer. So, hopefully I could get some experience and contribute some in this new project.

3. All in all, the staffs are nice and friendly, 1Malaysia, Chinese, Malay, Indian even Indonesian are working together as a unit.

4. Just don't do like what I did this morning. Almost went straight to Genting Highland instead of IMR, Jalan Pahang. Luckily Puan Radzan is a very nice person. Received a sachet of 3 in 1 nescafe from her (^_^)v

5. Hope to gain more and more experience....almaklumlah...dah tua.... (~_~)

ANDERSON: WE MUST PERFORM

After a run of facing the Barclays Premier League's top teams, Anderson says it's vital Manchester United don't take anything for granted against Norwich City.

Sir Alex Ferguson's men have already recorded impressive victories over the likes of Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea - all top five sides last season - but were held to a draw at Stoke City last Saturday and surprisingly pegged back by FC Basel in the Champions League clash in midweek.

Anderson is hoping the team can maintain a near-perfect home league record - stretching back some 18 months - not least because anything less than a win against the Canaries could result in the Reds relinquishing pole position in the Barclays Premier League.

"It doesn't matter who you play in the league, you always have to play well," the Brazilian told United Review. "I haven't seen much of Norwich, but I know they are a strong team who will come here and battle. Whenever you play at home you have to perform and we are always confident at Old Trafford in front of our fans.

"It's important to be strong at home and our record has been amazing for a long time now. You feel more relaxed, more comfortable when you're at home and you have that extra spring in your step. It's important we show that on Saturday and keep our good run going."

SIR ALEX: MANAGER HAS TO BE KING

Sir Alex Ferguson has reiterated his long-held belief that nobody is more important than the manager at a football club.

The United boss, who is approaching a remarkable 25 years in his post, has praised both his Manchester City counterpart Roberto Mancini for his handling of the Carlos Tevez situation this week and also Saturday's opposite number Paul Lambert for his work at Norwich.

Although not wishing to be drawn on the Tevez saga, Sir Alex did state: "I can see Mancini is showing strength and character. Strength is important in today's management. We all experience our own difficulties in management and you cope with it the best you can. In my own experience, strong management is important. No-one is more important than the manager at a football club."

Paul Lambert is the latest fellow Scot to pit his wits against Sir Alex in the Barclays Premier League and the boss has been impressed with the former midfielder, a Champions League winner with Borussia Dortmund in 1997.

"I remember Paul as a kid at St Mirren and the next time he faced me, he was at Dortmund when we played the 1997 semi-final," said Sir Alex. "He's one of the few Scotsmen to win a European medal outside a Scottish team. He's started out well at Norwich, they're playing with a great sense of purpose and you can see progress every week. It's been a good move for the lad."
