We are happy to share with you that we have signed another great car manufacturer for RaceRoom Racing Experience. One of Detroit’s Big 3, Ford Motor Company.

Founded in 1903 by Henry Ford and becoming world famous when it released the Tin Lizzie. Ford always managed to stay ahead of his time be it on the engines, safety glass or creating easily accessible V8 powered cars.

The road heritage of Ford is not something to be neglected, but for R3E, we are focused on their racing pedigree. As with the others we start off with one car, but I promise you, there are many more cars to come from our new licencor Ford!

The first car to announce from this license is the Ford GT GT1.

The GT1 car developed by Matech Concepts, a company no longer involved with racing. The racing development of the FORD GT is continued by Germany based, Lambda Performance.

The Ford GT1 is powered by a 5.5 litre FORD  V8 providing around 550 BHP.

The Ford GT1 was raced by the popular Marc VDS racing team and after the departure of Matech concepts from the sports, they ran 4 FORD GT1 cars for the remainder of the season.

With a power to ratio of 2,11 kg per HP this car goes like the wind.

Soon you will be able to drive the GT1 version of the FORD GT in R3E!

The FORD GT GT1 may not be available yet, but it should not stop you from playing RaceRoom Racing Experience now!

La pre alpha di Project CARS giunge all’appuntamento mensile scaricabile a partire dall’account Junior member con la build numero 397, che vede inserite in game due nuove vetture: la Ford Focus RS 2009 e la Mercedes SLS.

Nella Mercedes è presente solamente una fisica base completamente da sviluppare, per quanto riguarda la Ford Focus RS si è invece ad uno stadio un po’ più avanzato ed è richiesto un test approfondito ai partecipanti al progetto, così come per la Racer R4 LS e la Caterham R500.

Inserite anche le qualifiche, che presentano al momento qualche difetto di gioventù come segnalato nelle note di rilascio della build.

Per testare al meglio la build consigliamo sempre di consultare, nel forum WMD, il topic sulla release e quelli costantemente aggiornati sugli update, bug conosciuti, caratteristiche mancanti o non ancora implementate, fix riguardanti il Seta Tyre Model e il multiplayer.

Ricordiamo che tutti i link al forum WMD sono visibili ai soli membri che hanno aderito al progetto.

Il nostro canale teamspeak raccoglie un assiduo gruppo di utilizzatori di Project Cars, che quasi ogni sera si ritrova in stanze multiplayer con password per correre gare in compagnia e con il quale scambiare impressioni e consigli in diretta e in tempo reale.

E’ stata rilasciata su steam la open beta di RaceRoom Racing Experience. Dopo un breve periodo di closed beta ecco quindi arrivare sui nostri PC questa versione che presenta, come contenuto free, 5 vetture e 2 tracciati.

Questa open beta si rivela utile anche  per avere una panoramica sul parco vetture e circuiti, sul funzionamento del portale e dello store e quali saranno i contenuti offerti gratuitamente e quali a pagamento.

Da una prima occhiata sembra che non ci troveremo davanti a un qualcosa che potrà essere definito abbordabile da chiunque se si vorrà avere a disposizione un parco minimo di auto/circuiti.

We continue to develop the R3E platform, there are many exciting things coming to the game and the portal. Among things coming is not just new cars and new circuits, but also new features and game modes for the game and the portal!

We thank you all for reaching this amazing achievement at this rate we will blast by the moon soon enough.
