"Toni was my first everything. She was my 1st crush, even when I was inside the PBB house, may crush na 'ko sa kanya, and yeah she’s been a very good friend. Sa lahat ng nangyari sa amin, she’s always been a good friend. And whenever we’re together, we have good chemistry. we just have a lot of fun."

Syempre tutal aalis na rin naman siya, hindi na rin itinago ni Sam ang tunay niyang saloobin tungkol naman sa kanyang deepest love na si Anne Curtis. He revealed na until now, he keeps all the things that Anne gave him.

May regrets ba siya sa nangyari sa relasyon nila in Anne?

"I can’t say regret, but I will admit siya talaga ang deepest love ko and there were times na nahihirapan talaga ako afterwards to get over her. It took me a long time and I’ll always love her."

Kaninong desisyon ba talaga ng maghiwalay sila?

"Yeah pero there’s things na parang you feel comfortable talking about and there’s something na parang basta. It’s something I did not want to end. I did not want it to end."

Anong gusto niyang sabihin kay Anne, bago siya umalis?

"First off, Anne I just want to congratulate you because I think 2011 was by far your year talaga and I’m very happy na eto na talaga yung dream mo na maging concert singer and world tour exactly. Ikaw na, Anne. Ikaw na. But I wanna thank you. I’ve learned so much from you. I know na may dahilan para sa lahat. I wanna thank you for the love, for everything, and I think you always have a place in my heart. I will always love you and just thank you. And I know God has a lot of plans for you too."

KRIS Now we can talk about it in depth. Ano yung naghihintay sayo sa Amerika? Who saw you initially? Pano ba nagstart? How did the ball roll?

SAM It was our friend from New York, si Mario Brinas. He knows a lot of executives (sino si Mario) he actually works for Gucci in New York. He knows the casting director of one of the biggest networks in the States, I believe, sabi niya I’m looking for Asians.

KRIS So kung biggest network yan it’s either ABC-Disney yan or NBC Universal so it’s ABC. So naghahanap siya ng...

SAM Asians. Na magaling mag-english. (ok tapos) so yung mga Asians nanonood sila ng Star Magic and then they watched again in New York. So I did an audition nung movie premiere namin ni KC sa New York. They really, really liked me. Medyo baliktad kasi normally you get an agent to get to know the network, pero yung network ang naghanap ng agent for me so, and that’s why I’m with my agent right now.

KRIS So the network, ABC, did you sign, no nothing? It’s not a build up contract or anything?

SAM No they liked me from my... based on my audition na ginawa ko so my agency helped me meet ibang networks.

KRIS Ang tanong ko is it’s still a risk (yeah walang guarantee) so what convinced you na sige I’ll take the risk sige punta na 'ko try ko to.

SAM The feedback. And I just have a really good feeling about this.

KRIS Or parang the feeling na wala naman talagang mawawala.

SAM No it is it can be kasi tinanggihan ko na teleserye and movie. Dapat may movie ako with Bea and Direk Olive was supposed to direct. I had to say no to that because I’m staying in the States so it is a very big risk so yeah.

KRIS Ano yung preview nila na what life will be like in the states?

SAM My agency blocked off everyday, Monday to Friday, (for auditions) 9am to 9pm for auditions. Wala pakong alam kung ilan ang mga auditions na gagawin ko but it’s not only with ABC though, I met up with nbc, cbs, with fox, and wb. (isn’t it cw now) yeah sorry cw

KRIS And medyo financial risk kasi you’re doing this with your own money? Ito yung pinag-ipunan mong pera while working, and then you gave yourself a year.

SAM It’s actually 3 months. Mid-may, I’ll actually be coming back, but if I get a project, taping will be May or September. If I don’t get a project this year, then I’ll come back and we already have work lined up (here) a movie here.

KRIS Depende kasi sa Amerika yung mga nila-launch nilang shows ng September, October I know na May, June nag-start na yun tapos hindi ka naman sure, mag-start ka ng auditions ng Feb, hanggang April ang auditions na yun (end of april) eh di kung matanggap ka, after memorial day, work na! Go go go!

SAM But there’s no guarantee, it’s all a risk. Kasi lahat ng artista dun, kahit malalaki na sikat na sikat, they all do auditions. So it’s a risk talaga.

KRIS Pero parang Sam talaga apart from all our singers, you’re the one na nabuksan ang pinto so it’s really a huge achievement already, just the fact na pwede ka na mag-audition for the biggest networks in America parang wow!

SAM Yeah I feel really lucky and blessed that everything is happening but it’s scary at the same time kasi walang guarantee. If I just get one project, just a support role, that’s still

KRIS Ano ba oo naman grab na yun. America is America. That opens up a worldwide audience for you. Ano yung pina-audition sayo?

SAM It was just script reading, they taped me para makita yung acting ko. And then I did an audition for fox din. (ano yun?) It was the script of Terranova. And actually I thought it was for that and it was also for them to see my acting din.

KRIS Yung Terranova napanood ko na po I’ve seen 6 episodes of it may mga dinosaur dinosaur diba (yeah it’s Steven Spielberg) yung nagproduce kaya lang kasi superduper mahal daw siya kaya kakabasa ko lang na di nga sure na may 2nd season yun (really?) yeah because it’s just so expensive. So sam kung tatanungin kita anong pinagdarasal mo ngayong 2012?

SAM You know I feel like God has a plan for me. I really do. I feel like, you know, I dunno I just feel really good about this. It’s a really good feeling and I think God has planned something. Just for me to be prepared and be confident and do my best.

KRIS Magbabalik-tanaw lang ako kasi maraming girls na nalink sayo through the years. If you think of it also, they’re now in happy relationships. Haha so baka naniniwala ka ba na pinlano ni God para sa yo career talaga (now right now) kasi if you look at it, very settled talaga si Toni with Direk Paul. Anne has Erwan, so nakikita mo ba siguro na matagal pa bago ikaw ang magsettle down?

SAM Mid-thirties. (feeling mo) but at the same time (malay mo baka may makilala ka abroad) maybe there’s a reason why wala akong girlfriend ngayon. Kasi I made a decision rin kasi aalis ako na even if I start having feelings kasi ako if I were still with Anne I probably wouldn’t go to New York. I’d be staying here.

KRIS Meron kang gustong i-message lang sa lahat ng Pinoys na ma-mimiss ka kasi tatlong buwan din yan.

SAM It’s only 3 months and mabilis na panahon lang yan I’m sure it’ll go by really fast and sana kahit nasa states ako, sana suportahan niyo pa rin. I will need all the prayers I can get. I really hope, kung sisikat ako sa States, I want to bring pride sa Pilipinas. That’s what I really wanna do. Just pray for me. I have a good feeling, so...

KRIS Why do you keep saying you have a good feeling?

SAM A lot of people keep saying “Sam are you really nervous? Kasi siyempre bigger stars, this is Hollywood” it’s true.

KRIS Ako naman naisip ko sana mameet mo si JLo kasi diba yung dati naman niyang asawa half-Pinoy. Baka matypan ka ni JLo. May isa pakong naisip for you, sana mameet mo si Kim Kardashian tutal hiwalay na siya hahaha baliw ba mga thoughts ko?

SAM Si ano, si Katy Perry din break na sila ng asawa niya.

KRIS This is how far you’ve come. So if you have people na gusto mong pasalamatan talaga...

SAM Syempre first off from the start. Erikson my manager was the one who discovered me in Glorietta mall (as in what naglalakada kayo sa glorietta) yeah he told me he had contacts in Star Magic who told me about PBB, Direk Lauren and Ms. Linggit and Ma’am Charo and I mean, to imagine me coming from nothing, no acting experience, to be given so many experiences kaagad palabas ng PBB house.

KRIS So PBB I’m sure also your Star Magic family.

SAM Star magic, Mr. M, Ms. Mariol, and of course Ma’am Charo, Tita Cory, Tita Malou, for all the projects talaga. Star Cinema. Star Records din, Jonathan, Ms. Anabel Regalado.

KRIS Ang swerte swerte mo that this opportunity opened up.

SAM But at the same time I’m worried kasi baka ine-expect talaga yung mga tao na ganun-ganun anong project mo (so klaruhin natin na wala) I want to make sure that people know na wala pang project. I could go there and nothing happens and I come back, may plano na may movie, may teleserye, and I could, maybe next year again, I hope kasi pilot week season, that’s what I’m going for, and that’s the 3 months. So I’m hopeful we’re all hopeful.

KRIS Klaruhin ko rin para maunawaan nila kasi diba sa sobrang laking market ng Amerika, yung pilots na yun, dadaan pa yan na bago mag-air niyan, ang haba ng pinagdaanan.

SAM And the thing with pilot season is even if I get into a pilot show, you’d tape for that pilot season, and they’d also present it to producers

KRIS Sana kahit guesting man lang sana major na yun pagdarasal natin.

After my previous post, marami po akong nakuhang reactions na dapat ay kunin ko rin ang pahayag ni Melai Cantiveros tungkol sa issueng hiwalay na sila ni Jason Francisco dahil kay Kaye Abad. Kaya para po sa ikatatahimik nating lahat, kinuha ko ang side ni Melai. And as always, napakabait ni Melai para pagbigyan ako.

Based sa pag-uusap naming dalawa, inamin ni Melai na humigit-kumulang isang linggo na silang hindi nag-uusap ni Jason. Nagkatampuhan daw kasi sila, kung anuman yung eksaktong naging dahilan ng misunderstanding nila, ibalato na lang po natin sa kanila. Diretsahan ko rin siyang tinanong about the Kaye-Jason issue, at sinabi niyang wala siyang alam tungkol dito. Hindi niya rin ito masasagot, at hindi rin siya makakapagbigay ng pahayag about it dahil nga hindi naman sila nagkaka-usap na ni Jason.

Dama ko lang din sa pag-uusap namin ng Prinsesa ng Masa ang tampo niya dahil nabanggit niya na nakakalungkot dahil mas sweet daw si Jason sa iba kesa sa kanya - na girlfriend nito. Kailangan daw ay maging gentleman si Jason.

Sa tingin ko naman, sana mauna nang mag-reach out si Jason kay Melai. At sana ay maayos nila kung anuman ang pinagdadaanan nila ngayon. Thank you Melai for trusting me.

Ang daming nagtatanong - or nang-iintriga - sa Twitter tungkol sa break up daw ng showbiz couple na sina Melai Cantiveros at Jason Francisco. At ang dahilan daw, third party : si Kaye Abad. Personally ay naloloka ako sa issue na ito dahil kahit papaano ay in touch naman ako sa Melason at alam kong going strong ang relationship nila. Pero para lang masagot ang mga nagtatanong - at matigil na ang rumors, heto po ang sagot ni Jason about it :

Hanggang last week, lumabas ang isang report na diumano, binastos ni Vice Ganda si Ai Ai! Malisyosong balitang naging dahilan, para tuluyan nang magsalita si Vice sa issue. Ang tinutukoy ng nasabing report, ay ang hindi raw pagpansin ni Vice kay Ai Ai nang minsang mag-krus ang landas nila.

United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, nagpadala na ng tulong para sa mga nasalanta ng Bagyong Sendong

Kahapon ay dumating na sa Pilipinas ang tone-toneladang relief goods na ipinadala ng United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), na sinalubong naman ng kanilang Honorary Patron for Asia na si Kris Aquino. Kasama si Bimby, at ang UN Philippine representative na si Bernard Kerbalt, tinanggap ni Kris ang mga relief goods na ipinadala ng UNHCR sa tulong at contribution na rin ng iba pang bansa. Partial pa lang ang dumating kahapon mula sa warehouse ng UNHCR sa UAE. Tuloy-tuloy pa ang pagdating ng maraming tonelada ng goods hanggang sa December 26. Itu-turnover ito nina Kris sa DSWD, na siya namang magdi-distribute ng mga ito sa mga nangangailangan nating kapamilya sa Mindanao.

Aside from the help from the UNHCR, tuloy-tuloy rin ang efforts ng marami nating kapamilya para kahit papaano ay makadamay sa mga biktima ni Sendong. Kaya sa mga may gusto pong itulong, contact nalang your chosen group and share your blessings.
