Can you believe it?! Tomorrow is my 3rd birthday and party! Tomorrow morning, we're headed down to the hood to jump on the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner to San Juan Capistrano, California for my party. My party is at Zoomars Petting Zoo so it's going to have a farm animal motif happening. I can't wait for the train ride and to hang with some real party animals. Get it?! Party a n i m a l s. Ha!

The Letter

Hi.

I know... It's been ages. But I have a really good excuse... I've been busy. I know all of you know a thing or two about being busy. I've noticed that as I get older, I have more things to do; More places to go and more people to see. Since I got back from Ohio, I've been busy with school, getting ready for our Thanksgiving lunch and learning a lot of new Thanksgiving related songs and stuff. By the time that's done, we're back at it getting ready for our big Christmas lunch with a whole new set of songs and even some dance moves. Like I said, I've been busy!

So, back to The Letter! Mommy and Daddy have been getting me all hyped up about this guy named Santa Claus, and let me tell you... I'm really excited! I've been a really good boy so with Daddy's help, I wrote a nice letter to Santa Claus asking him for a few things for Christmas. In addition to World Peace, a quiet dinner with the Dalai Lama and a signed copy of Sarah Palin's new book (just kidding about the book), I asked for a fire truck with a real fire hose, Monster Bath Toys, a guitar and a few other small things.

I actually got to speak with Santa Claus in person at the mall. I was suprised to see him there since he was so busy, but he took a few minutes to talk to me about what I wanted for Christmas. I didn't sit in his lap or anything... we just talked and stuff. Santa is a really nice man. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures with Santa, but I do have my letter that I sent to him. Close enough!

A Buckeye Halloween

Hey Everyone!

I'm back from Michigan and Ohio and I had a blast!

I got to see my cuz Cambria, Aunty Erin, Uncle Dave, Grandma B, Aunty Netta, Aunty Nancy, Amelia and Cambria's Grandma Carol. We all went to the Toledo Zoo, had some interesting Hungarian food at Tony Packo's and did some major trick or treating. Major! Trick or treating in Toledo was really cool. All the homeowners were really into showing the kids a fun time and it was cool to run around in fall leaves. While I have to admit it was a loooong way to go to get some candy, I did have tons of fun with everyone and earned almost 4000 Delta Skymiles! Yea!!

Rock City... Really?

Hi Everyone!
In a few hours, I'll be on a plane heading to Rock City, D-Town, Motown... Detroit, Michigan! I'm excited to get back in the air and to spend Halloween with my cuz Cambria in Toledo, Ohio. While it isn't my first trip to the eastern part of the US, it is my first visit to Michigan and Ohio. I just hope Randy Sparks was wrong about this place! The Pumpkin Patch

Hey!
In keeping with the Halloween vibe, I wanted to share my recent trip to the pumpkin patch with my pal Savannah. I went last year to the same pumpkin patch, but I was a little small for the rides, but this year, it was on. On like Donkey Kong! First, we went on the pony ride. It was okay but I really felt sorry for the donkey pony things. They looked so sad! Next up, was the pink elephant ride followed by the motorcycle ride. After that, we had a good jump in the bounce house, rode the mini train and wrapped it all up with a slide down the monster of all slides. I had a blast!

The Great Pumpkin

Hey All!

Halloween is almost here!!! I'm so excited! I love seeing all of the Halloween decorations around the neighborhood and especially love the carved pumpkins. I know that they are called "jack-o-lanterns", but I like to call them "pumpkin-lanterns" instead. This year was the first time I carved my very own pumpkin. Daddy went to the market and bought three nice pumpkins and the other day, we took one outside to start the transformation from pumpkin to jack-o-lantern. First, we had to get a template to work off of, so Daddy suggested I get my favorite Halloween book, Pumpkin Eye. We opened it up and found a perfect pumpkin, and Daddy went to work marking the same features on the outside of our eager pumpkin. Once the eyes, nose and mouth were on and Daddy cut open the top, I was ready to dig in and scoop out the goop. I really didn't like this part much, but Pig Face Molly sure did. She ended up eating a lot of it! Anyways, with Daddy's help, I cut out the eyes, mouth and nose and put it out on the front porch for all to enjoy!

I had a lot of fun and I can't wait for Halloween!

Bangel Bangels & Fireflies

Hey Y'all!

Long time no talk!

I know it's been ages but I've been so busy lately, that time seems to have gotten the better of me. I've been busy with skool, playing and enjoying one of my favorite pastimes, bangel bangels and fireflies. I know for the casual observer, this would seem a little odd, but rest assured, it's a simple gastrointestinal delight that I happen to share with my Daddy. Simply put, it's a hamburger and french fries preferably from the McDonald's variety. I'm almost 3 years old (as you can see by my birthday countdown timer on the right!) and while my speech and language development is what some (most) would classify as superior (toot! toot!), I do have a few pronunciation hang-ups... Unfortunately, two of the them happen to be "hamburger" and "french fries". Somehow, a hamburger has been translated to bangel bangel and french fries has been stripped of it's snootiness and are now called fire flies. So, here's a recent lunch outing with Daddy and Rowie to McD's where we can be seen in the wild like real animals. We, as in ME and Daddy. Rowie just sat there and spit up. I guess he's not a big bangel bangel fan.

The Beach

Hey There!

Today we went to the beach! If you're tuned in to Rowan's Tweets, then you probably already knew that! Anyways, we met up with my friends Savannah & Charlotte for a day of swim, fun and sun. We had a blast playing in the water, collecting shells and playing in the sand. I think the babies (Rowie & Charlotte) even had fun. I can't wait until next Friday because I heard Daddy say that we would probably go again. Yea!

Hey!
I just wanted to share some pics of my little bro Rowan. I rarely call him that though... I usually call him Rowie, Baby or Baby Leakie. Daddy calls me Scooter or Scoots and said that he needed to give new names to both of us, so my new name is Nacho and Rowan is Nachito. For those of you who don't know Spanglish, the ITO after NACH means "little". So I'm Big Nacho and Rowan is Little Nacho. I think he looks like a Nachito, don't you??!!

Hardly Labor

Hair Porting

Hi Everyone!

I totally forgot to post these pics! Mommy, Daddy, Rowie and I went to the airport (I pronounce it as "Hair Port"!) the other day for a quick airplane fix. While Daddy and I went out to the fence, Mommy and Rowie stayed in the car. Unbeknownst to Daddy, Mommy had the camera in hand and was documenting Daddy's strange behavior. I'm not sure why he gets this way... must be the smell of jet fuel! This particular plane didn't stop as it turned off the taxi way onto the runway. Daddy just kept yelling and freakin' out. He's nuts!

First Day of School

Hey Yall!

Summer is finally over and I have tons to talk about, but first things first. Today was my first official day back at school! It was so exciting to see all the new kids and to see my teachers. We sang some new songs and learned some stuff. You know... stuff! I even went to school in my underpants! You'll be excited to know that I didn't have a single "accident" all day.

My First Chones

Hey There!

I'm so excited to tell you about my first package of chones! We're were at the store the other day when I spotted them... Thomas The Tank Engine underpants. I rushed to the rack, pulled them down and handed them to Mommy. I wanted them... I needed them. Deep down, I know Mommy and Daddy wanted them too. So after a little more shopping, we made it home and I was all over my new package of chones. Daddy opened them up and I tried them on. After a little convincing, Daddy took of my diaper and replaced it with a fresh pair of Thomas underpants. What a liberating feeling! I cannot begin to tell you how nice it was to feel the soft cotton on my bottom. In short, it was incredible. Anyways, Daddy kept asking me if I needed to go pee, but I didn't say anything. No more than a few minutes went by and I went outside to show my friends my new threads when all the sudden, it happened. It being a puddle under my Crocs. Fortunately, that moment wasn't captured on camera so I guess I have something to be excited about. Well actually, I am excited about next week, because Mommy, Daddy, Rowan and me are heading out to Palm Springs for a week of relaxation, swimming, potty training and laundry!

Oh No! There's a Leak in the Dike!

Hi Everyone,

Mommy's been buggin' about my hair lately and threatening Daddy that she was going to take me to to get my hair cut. Here's the rub: Daddy, not wanting to give up the good fight, finally gave in to Mommy's repeated demands to get a little trim. But wait... it get's better! Daddy wasn't really keen on dropping $20 for a PROFESSIONAL haircut, so he grabbed a pair of scissors from the office and did a little snipping while I was in the bath. The result: I'm now in the running to be the next spokesperson for Dutch Boy. Even worse, some guy at the store told Mommy that I was a "nice little girl". Now that hurts!

Oh Brother! What a Summer!

Hey All,

It's me... Reyn Lee. Your favorite 2.5 year old blogger! I've been busy enjoying the last few weeks of Summer 2009 and can say it's been pretty cool! Yesterday, Mommy took me to the library and I checked out a tons of great books. I've read several yesterday and three more tonight at bed time. After hanging with my pal Savannah this morning and my buddy Carter this evening, I'm feeling a little drained, so I promise more posts in the coming days. Hey Everyone!

Sorry for the lack of posts. I actually have so much to talk about that I've been a bit overwhelmed by it all. As you all know, I just got a new brother a month ago, and with all of the visitors, play dates, school, birthday parties, circus, etc, I've been really busy. No excuses though! So anyways, I wanted to start off by telling you a little about my visit with my Granddad L (Hereinafter known as GDL) and Julie. They all came out here from Arkansas a few weeks ago to visit me and of course my little brother. We had an awesome visit! We went to the aquarium to see all of the fish, then it was off to our favorite post-aquarium fishy-fish lunch spot. After a quick rest at home, we went out for Lebanese food at one of Mommy's favorite places. From what I can tell, it looks like GDL and Julie really liked it too! At dinner, GDL and Julie gave me a cool gift police truck and fire truck. Thank you for the present and thank you for coming out all this way to see me and Rowie! I had a blast!

Hi Everyone!

What an exciting week it's been! On Monday, I started in a new classroom with new teachers at school and came home to my new baby brother. Wow! After waiting an entire week, I finally got the courage to ask Mommy & Daddy if I could hold baby Rowan. Daddy said that he would be too heavy for me, but I told him that I'm strong. Strong enough to carry him. He ain't heavy... he's my brother. Hmmmm. That has a ring to it. I should make that into a song!
