The final days of summer are quickly approaching and it's time to get out there and enjoy every last minute of it.
Here are a handful of photographs I've taken over the past month, since my last post. One more set and I believe I'll be shooting the leaves changing before long.

Another wonderful year at the softball game at Herrick Park. This year I was given permission to take the very first drone stills and video, of the 67 year old game. Technology sure has come a long way since a few local artists and writers started this fantastic tradition. Because I was shooting in the air, I 

didn't get to take too many ground photos. I did however manage to take a few while hanging with some of my other great photographer friends who come out each year to photograph the fun and excitement. It was good seeing Rossa Cole and Richard Lewin (the hardest working freelancer in the Hamptons). Enjoy the photos and look for the video coming soon. PLAY BALL !!

Hope everyone is having an awesome summer in the Hamptons. Here's a few mid summer shots I've been gathering together over the past month and a half. There is so much beauty surrounding us all the time. Most often, we need simply to stop and slowly look around 

to find magnificence in plain sight. Enjoy the following photographs, and the remainder of the summer.

I want to thank the Montauk Mustangs for their participation in a Saturday morning Beach Clean-Up at Ditch Plains, July 18, 2015. The team and coaches showed up, and along with several local helpers who joined in, the beach was swept clean of trash and litter. 

Another big thanks to the Montauk Shores Trailer Park for hosting a after clean up breakfast for everyone who participated. I interviewed a few of the players and coaches for a film project to air in the near future. Meanwhile, check out the Mustangs schedule online and go watch them play. I'll be there Monday July 20, at 5:00pm in Montauk for their next game.

Hi Folks. Well, summer is almost here and that means some great upcoming sunrise shoots. I'm posting this set of shots from the the middle of May to the present, as we end the spring with the approach of whats bound to be a beautiful summer in the 

Hamptons. My work is presently on display at Xavier's in Sag Harbor. Please visit and enjoy two collections of mine on display. Both wildlife and waves. You'll also see my work displayed at the new Goldberg's in Bridgehampton and the East End Physical Therapy Office in East Hampton. 

I have a line of note cards available at Groundworks@Hrens in Amagansett and Martell's in Montauk. The card series is called Vintage Montauk: Fort Pond Bay series 1. They are note cards made from my family's old photographs from the turn of the century, restored by myself and printed on great card stock. Presently, there are 15 different cards to choose from. More series will be available this fall.

I also have a special surprise coming at the end of July. I'm hoping to have my Nature Trail book "Eden of East Hampton" available for everyone as well.

Ahhhhh.... It's great to be back out and about now that I have a bit of free time. My absolute favorite time of day starts before the sun comes up. I tend to usher out the final stars of the evenings festivities and welcome in the dawn,... then the sun, along with the day. Once the day has been established, my photographing it comes to an
