Impact Communications team members hosted an informative seminar conducted by Gary Baney, CEO and PMO Manager of Boundless Flight.
If you thought LinkedIn is just another social network, you’re sadly mistaken.
As an old style salesman that came into the office on Monday mornings and set-up appointments for the week (no cell phones, blackberries, or computers), stuffed brochures and business cards into my expensive attaché case (it impressed potential clients), and set off in my 1975 Ford "Elite" (I bagged two deer with it one Saturday morning in Wisconsin), on a good week I made 12 to 15 connections.
Sales prospecting has changed… A change for the better.
A belief I was slow in adopting.
Gary provided enthusiastic insight into the inner workings of LinkedIn and how to use this powerful social business network to build your business and enhance your company’s image. Gary presented numerous ideas and suggestions on the importance of social networking and the impact it can have on your bottom line.
According to LinkedIn Network Statistics, after three months, I have acquired:
252 connections
44,600 two degrees away
3,363,200 three degrees away
3,408,200 total contacts through introduction
The old way would have taken 4,681 years, give or take a year.
Talk to Gary soon…. and then me.

E-Bikefun is featuring two models of the Sanyo Eneloop bike on the website.
Impact Communications partnered with GSD E-Bikes from the inception of their company, assisting in brand and logo development. Impact designed and programmed the website to include an informative online store as well as a forum for enthusiasts, reviewers, and newcomers to share comments and photographs about their e-biking experiences.
Video testimonials and promotions for featured manufacturers were shot and edited by Impact for inclusion on the website as well as on social media sites such as YouTube, Vimeo and Facebook.

Impact Communications was commissioned to create a permanent exhibit that demonstrates the importance of steam as the sole source of power for the USS Midway aircraft carrier and its crew of 4500 during its active duty.
The immersive exhibit includes video-based scenarios with actors in the roles of commanding officers. It provides visitors the unique opportunity to become sailors in charge of steam distribution, interacting with the program and to make learning-based decisions about allocating the flow of steam to different parts of the ship.
Components of the content were developed to satisfy middle school math and science standards established by the California State Board of Education. A combination of video, historic imagery and animated steam-flow data is used in the program, displayed on a large-screen monitor. To navigate, visitors interact with authentic ship hardware including brass valves and gauges.
The USS Midway Museum in San Diego, CA is one of the leading tourist destinations on the San Diego waterfront, attracting a broad range of visitors from around the world. The museum’s vision is to become America’s living symbol of freedom.
