Course Objective

This course is developed to enable the clinician to acquire the knowledge and confidence to perform bone grafting procedures in the maxilla & mandible. The program will cover surgical anatomy, pre/post surgical considerations, key steps to performing successful bone grafting procedures, socket/ridge preservation, ridge augmentation using allograft, monocortical autogenous block grafts, radiographic sinus interpretation, sinus lifts, platelet rich plasma and pathways for infection. Clinicians will have the unique opportunity to use the Piezotome in the cadaver lab, which can be used for Implant Surgery, Sinus Lift, Bone Grafting, and Atraumatic Extraction.

By having a thorough understanding of these bone grafting procedures the clinician should be able to improve the success of their implant and non implant supported cases, as well as increasing esthetic results for patients.

After the course the clinician will have a comprehensive manual and a model to take back to their office and reference at any time.

Course Objective

This two day course is designed to expose the clinicians to the advanced surgical and
orthodontic aspects of the Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics™ (AOO) technique
and to the unique manner in which these must be coordinated to maximize the potential
of this technique. Upon completion the clinician should be able to utilize the new diagnostic
parameters needed to treatment plan the various orthodontic classifications and
properly design the surgical aspects needed to support the orthodontic objectives.
Attendees receive 16 CE credits (AGD).

Testimonials From Former Course Attendees:

“As a Periodontist, I work with a number of Orthodontic colleagues who utilize
AOO™ as a vital treatment option for their patients. AOO™ not only accelerates
the movement of teeth but the bone regenerated allows for better and more stable
orthodontic results. After performing the surgery for AOO™ on hundreds of
patients, I can vouch for the safety and efficacy of this procedure.”

– Dr. Charles A. White, Periodontist, Bentonville, Arkansas

“Probably the best course I have attended in years! The AOO™ approach has
significantly impacted the way I address recession and GBR procedures. It has
consolidated the way our interdisciplinary team addresses complex and comprehensive
treatment planning. The orthodontist will see cases more biologically, and
the periodontist will appreciate the mechanical aspects of orthodontic treatment.
My advice, round up your favorite orthodontists and ‘just do it’ (the course)! You
				will never look back!”

– Colin Richman, Periodontist; Roswell, Georgia

Please see what our participants have to say about our Continuing Dental Education Course entitled “MCG/AAID Comprehensive Training Program in Implant Dentistry.”

I highly recommend this program to anyone who has not had the benefit of a recent and thorough university education in implant dentistry. – Keith Grove, DDS, MS

The MCG Maxi-Course in implant dentistry is one of the most comprehensive continuing educational experiences I have had. This course offers the best of the best in implant reconstruction, partnered in an environment that facilitates academic excellence. This course, without question, provides exceptional value for the educational experience. I would recommend this course to both beginning implant dentists and advanced reconstruction surgeons alike. – Daniel Brunner, MD, DDS

The Maxi-Course was one of the most wonderful experiences in my career! I’ve been practicing implant dentistry for 15 years and the course has provided me with up to date knowledge. It also gave me more confidence to continue performing the surgical and restorative phase of this field. At the same time, I was able to share the experience and become good friends with colleagues practicing in different states. Christian Davila, DDS, MS

I highly recommend the MCG Maxi-Course in implant dentistry. It provides the clinician with a science-based educational experience of the highest quality. Those willing to make the commitment to take this course will benefit greatly. Richard Chichetti, DMD

This course is designed to give clinicians the confidence to
perform soft tissue grafts, appropriate flap design for full and partial
thickness flaps, suturing and advanced bone grafting procedures
upon returning to their offices. Our structure is a combination of indepth
lecture, over the shoulder demonstration and a hands-on workshop
with models and fresh frozen cadaver heads on advanced
bone grafting for implant placement. One of the unique features of
our course is that we provide EasyGuide™ interpretation of every
cadaver head to simulate a realistic learning experience. This is the
closest thing to performing live surgery!

Each participant will receive a comprehensive manual which
compiles PowerPoint slides from the lecture. This makes following

provides an excellent reference back in the office after the course.
Each participant will also receive a personalized monogrammed

utilized to improve patient selection, graft site evaluation,
harvest site assessment and minimize complications. Contemporary
surgical bone grafting protocols, including ridge expansion, sinus
grafting, and autogenous block grafting, will be presented with LIVE
Surgical demonstration and hands-on model surgery. A dedicated
section of the course will address bone grafting complications.
