I didn't realize the cost was that much more per disc. I know in future years the manufacturing cost will taper, but when it comes to programming you get what you pay for. Thats a bit better but still crazy expensive. One thing you have to understand though, they do cost more to create. I work for Deluxe Digital Studios as an engineer and we actually make most of the hd-dvd's and bd disks on the market. The programming is much more complex so naturally we charge more.
